HVT12ABB 12-Bottle Countertop Wine Refrigerator

HVT12ABB 12-Bottle Countertop Wine Refrigerator
  • Manufactured to the Highest Quality Available.
  • Design is stylish and innovative. Satisfaction Ensured.
  • Great Gift Idea.

I had the wine cellar for less than 3 months when it just stopped working. I thought it was just the outlet but I tried it in 2 other ones and it just won't turn back on. I had received it as a gift from and it was already out of the warranty period by the time I got it. I know I didn't pay for it but I am still upset. Don't buy, even if it's a good deal.

I purchased this as a Christmas gift for my parents. In the beginning it worked. It didn't work well, but it cooled a little. A few months later and it completely stopped cooling. After reading more reviews I realized pretty much everyone had this problem, and I had given my parents a piece of trash.

Stay away from Haier.

My unit says 2006 but I think I bought it later. Like others have said, it never really did cool the wine. The red and white settings were virtually the same. About 6 mos ago it started making a groaning sound. I thought it was dust in the fan so I cleaned it out and it stopped. Now the entire fan has stopped. After reading other reviews, it would cost too much to fix compared to the purchase price. I'm sorry because it fit perfectly under my cabinet in the butler's panty!! Not sure if it's the model or the maker...

I received a twelve bottle Haier wine cellar for Christmas in 2008 from my daughter. It quit working within 18 months. When I called the 800 number listed in my owner's manual, I was told the warranty is for 12 months and it would be cheaper for me to purchase a new one. I told them the warranty specifies, parts and labor for twelve months and parts only for an additional twelve months. The representative stated that she did not care what the booklet said, the warranty is twelve months, period.

This summer I purchased a new dehumidifier and while researching, the name Haier did not come with good reviews. Needless to say, I did not purchase one of their units. You get what you pay for with Haier, go cheap but be prepared to purchase often.

A few things I have to say, the refrigerator is okay. Remember, I wasnt paying $500.00 for a mini wine cooler but I also expected a little more. The company processed the order quickly and shipped it quickly. However the carrier just left it on the front door where someone could have walked away with it. That would really suck since it was a house warming gift. I did mention this to the supplier and they will look into it. Never heard back. LOL! Didn't expect them to get back though.

Maytag MFF2558VEM 24.8 Cu. Ft. Stainless Steel French Door Refrigerator - Energy Star

Maytag MFF2558VEM 24.8 Cu. Ft. Stainless Steel French Door Refrigerator - Energy StarI love this refrigerator. I have owned it for a year and a half (with no problems). Below is my opinion based on each feature:

1. French Doors. I love them. THe left door has a flap that sort of flattens out as you close the door to seal against the right door. Because of the little flap, the right crisper drawer does not pull all the way out if the left door is closed. Alternatively, you CAN keep the right door closed and pull the left crisper drawer all the way out. Anyhow I usually end up opening both doors when i go to the fridge, so it will take 2 hands, but i still love the french door look.

2. Inside water dispenser. Love that too. THe only bad design is the button to get the water is a few inches above the actual dispenser. it is difficult for me to get a glass of water with one hand; i usually hold the glass with one hand and press the button with the other. But i do like this design much better than the 'outside of the door' water dispenser; i think this fridge has a cleaner look. I didn't even notice the inside water dispenser at first, it takes up VERY LITTLE room which is great!

3. Drawer freezer. I like it enough for what I have (bachelorette food like hot pockets and lean cuisines). I expected it to hold a bit more than it really does. I do like the fact that it's wire baskets that hold my food rather than a solid surface; sorta eliminates cleaning. THe reason i don't TOTALLY love this freezer is simply because if I had a bowl of liquid, i would have to be VERY CAREFUL to freeze it (such as an extra water bowl for my dog). Anything you want to be in the freezer will need to move/slide to get it in there i have to only fill the bowl 1/2 full of water or else it will spill when i close the freezer door.

4. Adjustable "no spill" shelves. These are great. Everything is adjustable which is perfect for me. I adjust them quite a bit actually. Also there is a small lip on each shelf so if something leaks, it won't drip down the back wall of the fridge. I like this idea. Also the shelves pull out a few inches in case you have something in the back you need to reach.

Overall this is a great fridge. It also beeps after a few minutes if you accidently don't close a door all the way. Temperature of both the fridge and freezer are displayed at the top inside of the fridge. Very easy/intiutive to adjust. Those small flaws listed above are very easy for me to live with; i would buy this refrigerator again. And, i love the stainless steel look!

Owned for six months. Worked great until starting running very hot. Stopped working all together. Under warranty, obviously, and replacement parts ordered. The replacement parts they sent me were themselves defective and had to replace the replacement parts. Long story short, Thanksgiving canceled and without a fridge for a month. Maytag, which after doing some research online, has suffered dramatically over the years in terms of quality and simply does not deserve its relatively decent reputation they still enjoy. This brand is garbage.

Three month old unit. Made loud noises the evening before the freezer section quit.

After five days , an authorized Maytag technician attempted to repair the refrigerator

only to find that the specified replacement part was too large to place in the

refrigerator.

After working on the unit and talking to a number of people, he called the refrigerator

non-repairable.

He contacted Whirlpool/Maytag and ordered an entire replacement refrigerator (fingers crossed).

Thank heaven we bought an independent extended coverage policy.

By the way, Whirlpool/Maytag has a limited warranty which they were "kind" enough to

cite over the phone that says, even for brand new products, they will not cover "any

food or medicine loss due to refrigerator or freezer product failures". Which just about

says don't put more in their refrigerators than you can eat in 24 hours or so.

We purchased a Maytag refrigerator in July of 2012. It quit working in October. Maytag repairman did not have the replacement compressor that was needed. Home Depot brought us another refrigerator 10 days later. That refrigerator worked until the beginning of May 2013 (7 months later). Home Depot brought us another refrigerator 7 days later. We contacted Maytag after we received the new refrigerator and they were not willing to send us any compensation for aggravation or loss of food. Their customer service to say the least is non-responsive. We will never buy another Maytag refrigerator and we tell everyone we know not buy a Maytag refrigerator. Maytag had to know these refrigerators were defective and they should have recalled them. Home Depot Appliance manager told us there were multiple customers who had issues with these refrigerators.

They're are many manufactures of appliances and our advice would be not to buy maytag!

I was excited to try my 1st french door with bottom freezer at our new house. I was sorely disappointed by this feature--the freezer is VERY easy to leave slightly ajar without knowing it, which happens often with the kids and mother-in-law. The fridge left-side door does not always close completely even with a firm push--you will hear a noise like it is closed, but if you don't check to make sure it is closed 50% of the time it is still ajar. Freezer light socket stopped working after 6 months, not a burnt out bulb. The freezer has pool of water/ice collecting right at the 1-year mark of ownership. Ice melts every day or two and leaks out of fridge and has ruined our hardwood floor. Turned off water supply to ice maker, didn't solve issue. Seems to be an issue with the auto-defrost cycle water leaking into freezer.

If I had it to do over again I would have at a minimum gone with a unit that had an alarm to notify you when the door is left ajar--or I would have gone with a better brand that has a spring loaded mechanism to thrust the door shut every time. I also would not buy a bottom freezer model--even though the freezer is 50% bigger than our last top-freezer model due to the annoying design of the slide out drawers you lost a TON of storage space. Also, the pull out design is horrible for energy efficiency, think of it this way, you pull all the cold items out into the warm kitchen, which removes virtually all the cold air in one swoop. The Energy Star rating likely does not take this into account.

Magic Chef 4.4 Cu Ft Refrigerator Black, Push-button Defrost MCBR445B2

Magic Chef 4.4 Cu Ft Refrigerator Black, Push-button Defrost MCBR445B2We bought this compact refrigerator (in white) about 5 days ago at Home Depot and it seems to be working very well. However, as with any appliance it would have helped to know things like when you buy it you should try to transport it vertically or you will have to wait 4 hours before starting it up (so the refrigerant can settle I guess). Also, they say in the manual but nowhere else that you need 5 inches of space between the sides of the fridge and the wall, so this might not be best for a tight or "built-in" space. The manual also says not to use this unit with an extension cord, so again placement is critical. It is very quiet which is something I really wanted. We looked at a lot of models and a lot of reviews and so far we're very satisfied.

Bought the fridge on July 17, stopped working completely October 15th. There are signs of corrosion on the metal in the back, it appears as if perhaps the refrigerant leaked out.

I'd stay away from this brand. Thank you Home Depot for the full refund

HSINI Portable Travel Mini Car Cooler & Warmer Car Mini Refrigerator (Capacity: 12L)

HSINI Portable Travel Mini Car Cooler & Warmer Car Mini RefrigeratorI love this product. If you start with something cold in it, it chills up very quickly. I put 3 ice packs in it and they stay frozen for days as long as it's plugged in. I'm a nursing mom who travels, and this keeps the milk cold. Works much better than the previous one that we had. On the trip from Washington to Arizona all our items stayed very cool. Very happy with this product.

This product works great! Keeps everything icy cold when my husband is on the road. He doesn't have to worry about stopping for ice, or having the ice take up so much room in the cooler. We didn't get the adapter, so we just put a bag of ice from our freezer in it the night before he is leaving and it is cold when we are ready to fill it. Very happy with this product.

Vinotemp 142-Bottle Dual-Zone Touch Screen Wine Cooler, Right Side Door Hinge

Vinotemp 142-Bottle Dual-Zone Touch Screen Wine Cooler, Right Side Door Hinge
  • Dual temperature-zone wine cooler to store red and white wines at separate temperatures
  • Frameless black cabinet with seamless, all-glass technology and dual-paned glass door with hinge on right side with door opening left to right
  • Complete with interior blue LED lighting and external security lock and key
  • Temperature Range: 45-65F
  • Approximate Bottle capacity: 142

I've been looking for over a year for a unit that would store my decent collection of reds at a price that makes sense. Let's just say it has not been easy. The decent units cost a fortune and almost everyone has some poor reviews. I thought I found a nice wine fridge on Craigslist and borrowed a truck to go pick it up. Thankfully I took a thermometer with me because the new unit never got below 75 even though the reading on it said 60. I left and decided to stop at Costco for some grocery shopping. By luck I found this unit there for $999 and picked it up. First I would probably advise against getting any such unit off the web. Get it somewhere you can return. I have had no issues but bases on some of the reviews I've read on every model, I've come to the conclusion that some just have defects and need to be returned. Shipping charges are also ridiculous. These units are heavy and once you take the packaging off it's impossible to get back on. Anyhow, it took me less than a minute to start it and set temps for both zones and my thermometer confirmed its got the right reading in both zones so effectively it does what it advertises. Also this must be the only unit that will actually hold as many bottles as advertised. I got exactly 142 in and they include Pinots, Syrahs, bigger Cabs, etc. I only give it 4 stars for two reasons: first, it's louder than I expected as a fan in there runs almost all the time. Mine is in a formal living room and while I can hear it, it's not any different than my top of the line kitchen fridge. Secondly, the lock on the bottom is truly a puss poor design. It works for my purposes which is keeping my kids out of it but any adult can pull bottles out of the top racks while it's locked. I'll write an update if things change but for now I'm very happy. It's a good looking unit though deeper than I expected. Not sure how Costco had it for half or 40% off Amazon and other web stores. Maybe it's being discontinued as with everything these days.

Ordered this unit after space limitations limited my options, but also performed web research on the company and product. It looks great, and keep your wine consistently chilled at the temperature set. My only negative, and it is significant, is the unit's noise. Every time the compressor kicks on, it is LOUD. Then it fades to an acceptable level. The problem however, the unit also vibrates to the point I'm calling in a service request (or it will be returned if not remedied). It is louder than two other fridges in the same space combined by far. I emptied the unit of all bottles, rechecked the leveling on the floor, and set it up a second time, no improvement. The vibration is from within the walls of the fridge, not the wine bottles or racks.

24" Wine and Beverage Cooler Finish: Black Cabinet With Stainless Frame Glass Door

24' Wine and Beverage Cooler Finish: Black Cabinet With Stainless Frame Glass DoorI own this model and have had nothing but problems with it. At first, it would not keep items cold enough. I complained to the manufacturer and their excuse was that it was not a full size refrigerator and I should not expect it to be as cold.

Then, the refrigerator started freezing everything and would not shut off. The manufacturer sent a local repairman who replaced the thermostat under warranty. Six months later the same problem was occurring.

After researching this thermostat problem with my Marvel refrigerator I found many others complaining of the same freezing problems.

The manufacturer is well aware of the problems with the thermostat on these models and have done nothing to correct it.

Don't buy.

Samsung RS263TDRS 26 Cu. Ft. Stainless Steel Side-By-Side Refrigerator - Energy Star

Samsung RS263TDRS 26 Cu. Ft. Stainless Steel Side-By-Side Refrigerator - Energy StarI have owned a Samsung fridge and have had nothing but problems with it. Samsungs I have found out have notoriously had cooling problems especially with the coils freezing. Don't just take my word for it, look up class action on Samsung fridges. I tried repairing this fridge twice with appliance repair companies to no avail. Once your fridge stops properly cooling, it more than likely will cost you less to buy another brand. I hate giving this fridge a bad review as I loved the design of the fridge and Samsung brand products in general but unfortunately they havent really figured out how to make a reliable fridge. For the cost of these appliances, you should get more than a year or so of reliable use.

There are several models involved in the class action, not just my model. So you can judge for yourself on whether you want to purchase a Samsung fridge but I wanted to share my experiences with Samsung brand refrigerators and put the information out there about the known defect.

The compressor makes a loud noise when it runs and is very noticeable. It's noisy. We called out a technician to fix it. He ordered a new "panel" that he said was rattling. They came and changed it and guess what? It's still noisy. The compressor is just a very low grade part and there is no sound insulation around it. Did I mention it's really noisy? I'll be surprised if this thing lasts one year. The buttons on the front panel to change from water to ice and back, don't work very well. I find myself pressing in multiple places multiple times to get what I need and only after bending over, cursing, then just holding my mouth right, the thing will actually switch to what I need. The ice-maker can only be described as an absolute grade-A piece of junk. It always crushes the ice, even though I pressed the button 15 times to switch to non-crushed ice. We called a technician out to look at it and he said "that's just the way it was designed". I wonder from which fictitious university the "engineer" who designed it purchased his diploma. Also, due to poor design, the ice cubes are always stuck together. I think they've tried to take de-humidification (or frost free) to a new level of bad design.

On the plus side, it looks nice. This thing can be analogous to a GM vehicle. Great paint job and looks nice in the garage, however nothing but rattles and squeaks on the road.

I can safely say that this is by far the wost appliance I've ever purchased.

Whirlpool D7824706Q Ice Maker for Refrigerator

Whirlpool D7824706Q Ice Maker for RefrigeratorIf you're reading this then you're probably neck deep in trying to figure out if there's any chance this will actually fit your fridge. While I'm not sure how much help I can be with that, all I can do is share my experience. My fridge is a Kenmore 79142 built around 2000. The ice maker in it puked and I needed a new one. After searching forever I finally convinced myself that this one would fit just fine. It seems like there are only a handful of ice maker manufacturers that send their units to everyone who, in turn, put their own model numbers on them and *poof*...confusion city.

In the end this ice maker fit just fine. The ice tray is metal unlike some of the cheaper plastic generic units. The description says this is a genuine Whirlpool part but the box is certainly very generic looking with a generic model number on it. I opened the box, it looked like a quality unit and I installed it. The next day I had ice so that's a win in my book. It's been working great ever since. Depending on your particular setup you might need to borrow brackets and the wiring harness from your old unit. I also had to remove the scored cutout section for the water inlet. Beyond that it was pretty much plug and play.

This ice maker worked perfect. It was easy to install and after five years I finally have ice again. Love it.

Buy Whirlpool D7824706Q Ice Maker for Refrigerator Now

This ice maker is OK, it works fine, but it was a job

to install. The wiring harness was too short, needed

to be slightly modified to fit the water supply tube, etc.

I would spend a few more dollars and buy the exact replacement

next time. They are also advertised on Amazon. The dealer

price on this item is $152 incidentally. Also, buy both the

valve and ice maker together for a bit more savings.

Read Best Reviews of Whirlpool D7824706Q Ice Maker for Refrigerator Here

The icemaker was delivered promptly and was pretty easy to install. The only caveat I'd offer is that I thought it best to re-use a couple of clip on parts off the old one (for instance, the arm that dips down to sense ice volume. The one that came with this unit was slightly different.

Been working flawlessly for several weeks. No complaints at all. I liked that it came with the test diagram in the instructions (the front panel, when off, shows where to use a multimeter probe to find out what's broken. Although hopefully I'll never need to do that!)

Want Whirlpool D7824706Q Ice Maker for Refrigerator Discount?

Finally, I have mounds of blessed ice in the tray! My old icemaker s-l-o-w-l-y died over years, delivering fewer trays until it would only cough out one every few days and then none at all.

This replacement was identical, except it doesn't come with the wire harness you just unplug from the old maker. Less than half the price of the maker from Sears, and about half of local parts stores. Great!

The only thing you need to know is there is a TINY screw on the side of the face, that can be turned SLIGHTLY in or out to adjust the fill time, if your water pressure is unusually low or high.

GE Profile : PCR06WATSS 24 Wine Center with a 57 Bottle Capacity

GE Profile : PCR06WATSS 24 Wine Center with a 57 Bottle CapacityI recently purchased this unit as a part of a full kitchen remodel. Unfortunately, upon attempting to transfer part of my wine collection I found the unit completely unsuitable. Because the unit attempts to fit 57 bottles into a relatively small space (note GE also sells a 29 bottle unit with a capacity of 4.3 cubic ft, compared to this unit's 5.5 cubic ft), the unit will not fit many 750 ml (standard capacity) wine bottles. Most Bordeaux style bottles (which have a pronounced shoulder below the neck and are basically cylindrical below the shoulder) will fit. However, many Burgundy style bottles (which taper gradually outward below the neck and are usually wider at the bottom) will not. The latter type of bottles bump up against the shelf above when the shelf they rest on is opened or closed. This kind of vibration is very bad for collectible wines, and a significant percentage of producers around the world (including the U.S.) use Burgundy style bottles.

In fairness, I have contacted GE about this problem and will edit this review if I receive a satisfactory response. Until then, I would highly recommend even wine novices steer clear of this product. There are multiple options in the $300-600 price range that have slightly less capacity but fit the vast, vast majority of 750 ml bottles.

I did some extensive research before I bought this built-in wine fridge. Being quiet is very important to me, and indeed, this is one of the quietest wine fridges I checked out. As a corollary, there's also not too much vibration. I still wouldn't keep the best wines in there for many years any compressor-based wine fridge will vibrate too much for that but the slightly spongy coating on the racks help protect the bottles to a great extent.

The one major negative is the space between shelves. Yes, the fridge can theoretically hold 57 bottles, but in practice those bottles are all either bordeaux-shaped or placed in there with precise care. If you like chardonnay, pinot noir, syrah, champagne, or anything in burgundy/rhone-shaped bottles, they tend to slide in such a way that they hit the shelf above them. This got so bad I ended up removing a few shelves, and now have to take care which size bottle goes where. Very annoying. I wish they had crammed 1 fewer shelf into the design, and given each shelf an extra 1/4" clearance.

Buy GE Profile : PCR06WATSS 24 Wine Center with a 57 Bottle Capacity Now

The "complaints" about this cooler relate to wanting to fit different sized bottles -which isn't an issue for me as mine is full of Bordeaux in "standard" bottles.

I did an exhaustive review of reviews of wine coolers up to 166 bottles on every possible web site and found that compressor failure was an issue and warranty service farmed out to third parties was unreliable or non-existent.

Even though the cost of this GE at about $25 per "bottle slot" -the metric that was the easiest to use for comparative cost - is higher than the off-brands, it is much less than $50/bottle slot for a Subzero or Viking but those are two temperature zone coolers and I only wanted one zone figuring it made the cooler more complicated and more likely to fail.

You get a 5 year warranty on the whole unit from GE who presumably knows how to make refrigerators that don't break.

Although I buy most things at Amazon, Home Depot online had the same unit on sale at 10% less than Amazon with free delivery so I bought it there.

Read Best Reviews of GE Profile : PCR06WATSS 24 Wine Center with a 57 Bottle Capacity Here

I have had good bottles of wine around for years and every once in awhile I get a bottle that had just been at room temperature too long and wasn't that good. Since I have gotten this unit I am confident that I can keep my wines until they have matured properly. So far this has been great and I love to get those special wines that I can hold without fear of spoilage. THIS was a great purchase.

Haier HVZ035ABS 35-Bottle Capacity Extra large Wine Cellar, Black

Haier HVZ035ABS 35-Bottle Capacity Extra large Wine Cellar, Black
  • Heavy duty brushed metal handle with flat glass door with blue gray tint and graphite trim
  • Adjustable dual electronic flexi zone with an automatic setting for red and white wine
  • 5 flat wire vinyl coated storage reacks and 2 half depth racks
  • Dual function LED readout with soft interior lighting
  • Leveling legs and a automatic door stop

NICE CONCEPT, BUT I WOULD THINK TWICE ABOUT BUYING HAIER.

This is a nice compact wine cooler. The top shelf will go down to 43 degrees (if it is working) for 10 bottles of white and the bottom shelf will go down to 56 degrees for 25 bottles of red. It is a small size that can fit into a corner. It is a good height, being about the height of countertop. You can take shelves out so you can store magnums.

The unit has adjustable feet for leveling, but there is not adjustment available. It is easy to unscrew a foot all of the way out, and then it is difficult to screw back in. I ended up putting a coaster under one of the feet to level the unit.

BUT IT IS VERY POOR QUALITY.

When I got the unit home, I found it had a broken door and would not seal. The manual says, don't return the unit, but call for service.

Haier contracts out the service to the same company that does home service calls for Sears. I called and someone came within a week. They found that the door was broken and needed to be replaced.

A new door was ordered from Haier. It took about 3 months for a door to come. Haier sent 2 doors, because both doors were badly chipped. I guess they felt we would just choose the one that was the best. Then Haier sent out 3 more doors, each one worse than the next.

I was getting nowhere with Haier, so I sent an email to the company headquarters in China. I finally got some action, and Haier said they would replace my entire unit.

I did get a "new" unit. It was kind of dinged up, but the door sealed.

Also, some of the shelves do not stay in place.

After about 30 days of running, the unit will start making a lot of noise. There is actually a thing in the owners manual about this. It says if the cooler starts making noise, unplug it for a little while. Of course, this is a bid pain, if you have the cooler up against the wall and the plug is not easy to access. It means about once a month, you need to empty the wine cooler, move it out from the wall, unplug, wait and push it back.

After 5 months, this new unit stopped cooling on the top shelf. I called Haier and they said it is no longer under warranty, since I purchased the unit over a year ago. But, the first unit was bad for 7 months and not really usuable. I've only had a "working" unit for 5 months.

I am now going to appeal to corporated headquarters and see if they will do something about it.

I bought this dual-temp wine fridge about 2 months ago, and so far everything has been great. It came assembled for about $60 shipping, set up in a minute, and has been quietly keeping my white and red cool since.

The unit is pretty large make sure to check the dimensions. It's attractive in black with a silver bezel around the glass door. The two LED temp displays are bright blue almost bright enough to be a night light.

Setting the temperatures is pretty easy. It works like setting your average bedside alarm clock. I chose to have the top (smaller) portion at 46 for white and the lower (larger) portion at 62 for red. I haven't tried putting my own thermometer in to test the temp, but the digits rarely deviate from what I set them at, even during the 80+ degree days at the end of the summer.

In terms of noise, it's relatively inconspicuous. When the compressor turns on, there is a hum but it's not enough to bother me at all in my mid-size living room, even while working or watching a movie. This was one of my concerns to begin with and this product makes the grade. Silent would be better, but I'm very content.

I haven't had it long enough to test more than a few wines that have been stored in the fridge, and that'll be the real test. We'll gave to wait and see, but expect the results will be favorable. Overall, I'm quite satisfied.

This product is terrible. It was given to me as engagement gift by my parents and after one month it stopped cooling in the top chamber. After getting a replacement unit the new unit is now also no working. My dad also had problems with his. We have gone through 4 of these things. Haier should be ashamed selling defective products like this. I will never buy another Haier product ever again...

It has been an up and down road so far with this fridge. I excitedly arrived home to see my new wine fridge waiting for me at my front door. To my dismay it looked like the box had been badly handled either from FedEx or from the Amazon warehouse. After fighting it down my basement (it I pretty heavy you are better off having helped to move it) I was nervous about unpacking fearing that it may have been damaged. To my surprise the refrigerator was in perfect condition and it seemed like the box took the brunt of the beating.

Got it out of the box, plugged in and ready to go. The controls are pretty straight forward to use and you can easily set the temperatures for the two zones. i have not yet put a separate thermometer in the fridge to test the accuracy of the digital read outs but my guess is the are close within a few degrees. It quickly cooled down to the set temperatures and I fully loaded in my wine. The wire shelves are decent for supporting the wine but they are basically useless in trying to slide them out to see what wines are on each rack.

After loading the wine I closed the door and realized that the light would not turn off. After further detective work I realized that the switch at the bottom of the door was broken and was leaving the light on. After jamming a piece of paper into the switch I was able to turn the light off. Pretty disgusted that I had to call Haier the very first night of operation to get a service tech. The first woman I spoke with was an absolutely miserable human. She literally made me hang up and call back because she could not wait 30 seconds to get the Amazon receipt. They are VERY particular that the information you give them on the phone EXACTLY matches the sales slip. Frustrated I called back and spoke with a nice gentleman that was much for helpful. They scheduled me a service call a few days later. The repair man is supposed to be here today, we will see how that goes.

The Haier is in the basement so noise it not of real concern to me, but it seems to be extremely quite. Relative to the beverage fridge I have next to it, it is pretty silent.

Size is very spacious, as you can easily fit 10+ bottles of red on the top, it is really made for 10 on the top but there is room to stake on a second row. Bigger bottles are tight down below but the bottom to shelves to a nice job of handling the larger bottles like a chardonnay.

As I said for the price I don't think you can find a two-zone of this size cheaper. I would recommend this Haier.

Refrigerator was delivered with shattered front glass door. I believe it was shipped that way because outer box was in perfect shape. A return/exchange through Amazon was arranged. It's not easy to pack one of these back up. Replacement unit has cracked front door frame near the hinge. Getting no where so far with Haier for replacement door that was promised 4 months ago. All done with Haier products and large items from Amazon.

SquareTrade 3-Year Appliance Protection Plan ($175-200)

SquareTrade 3-Year Appliance Protection PlanSquareTrade SquareTrade 3-Year Appliances Warranty ($175-200 Items) says you must have a copy of your Amazon receipt on file with them before you can file a claim. It was not easy to accomplish.

When I clicked on "submit receipt" on their email I reached a login screen for my email address and password. To get a password I must establish an account with them. This did not work because they did not recognize my email address --even though they had used it twice to send emails to me.

Customer service was helpful by sending an email explaining how to bypass the website by email (attach Amazon's invoice to an email addressed to receipts@squaretrade.com with policy number in subject line). That did work!

He also sent me a one-time password to use to obtain a permanent password to access my account. After entering my email address and selecting a password I got a screen saying "An unexpected error has occurred." When I tried again they rejected me because I'd used up my one-time.

I tried to login again using my newly selected password. No good. They rejected my email address again even though, by this time, they had used it five times.

At this point I still can't access my account so I hope I never need to file a claim. I sure as heck will keep that customer service reps' telephone number though.

I bought a 3 year warrantee with my Frigidaire dehumidifier. The dehumidifier went belly up after 7 months. I put a claim in in my SquareTrade warrantee and within seconds was told my original manufactor's warranttee was still in force. They gave me all of the information to start the claim, and I got my money refunded in less than 2 weeks! If we had past the manufacturer's warrantee SquareTrade would have paid! I purchased a new dehumidifier and immediately a new 3 year SquareTrade warranttee.

They are really easy to work with, and the new feature of letting you upload your receipts for safekeeping is genius. I have actually had to file a claim with them on a different item, and working with them was easy. Their phone people were US-based, intelligent, polite, and cooperative. They allow you to review your interaction with the phone agent, which keeps them accountable. I got my warranty payout without any hassle. I will use them again.

I purchased this for my husbands Kindle. When he chipped the screen all I had to do was send an email. The new one was there in a couple of days and I shipped the old one back in the box! I couldn't ask for better service. Worth every penny!

I got my stove at Howards in moreno valley and loved it at first sight. there is a frigadare model that was a bit better but i wanted to keep all my major app with GE. to be honest the center burner is the only thing that will frustrate you, the flame is to small at high volume. So when you put one of those large skillets on there it wont work well because the flame is to short and wont cook well. its good for slow cooking but i have not really used it yet. but it really works well when you use the griddle that it comes with but its cast iron and you have to take the center grill out to use it , not sure if you want to cook pancakes on it. but its beautiful and its mine and i love it!!!! ooohhhh yea its hard to keep clean with 3 teenagers. the lower oven has no convention fan only the main oven but i use it for worming or reheating something when the main is to full. and don't panic when you use it for the first 2-3 times you might smell smoke or something like that, its just new, they almost all do that.

its got all the gadgets you need, its not to fancy or to basic its just right and the main burner is very powerful you can burn anything if you don't watch it, even water haha, but its cool... now the price here is well in my words shop around i did and found it at howards for 1,200$ out the door. but if you are looking for a GE and dont want to spend a lot of money for extra gadgets this is nice, sure there's better but so are the prices...

Had the GE Cafe Range. Could not tolerate the noisy fan even on regular baking. When the oven was on regular bake and I would be doing something on the top of the range, the oven fans would blow over 80 degree heat into my face. GE admitted the problem and did not have a fix. The range was returned. We purchased this model and so far, we really like it --no problems. It doesn't look too bulky in our kitchen (although I did like the drop-in look of the returned range). I would recommend this range.

I *try* and do as many DIY projects that I can and after replacing my actual ice maker, water still wasn't being sent up through the tubes I figured that I needed a new valve. I found this valve on Amazon great deal on price and the seller had good reviews. The seller is wonderful, shipping was extremely fast and packaging was ideal. The installation was incredibly easy just take out the old and hook up the new. I was hoping this new part would solve my problems and so I anxiously watched/listened for the pump sound and sure enough...water was shooting down the ice maker tube and now my ice maker runuth over!!!!!
