I *try* and do as many DIY projects that I can and after replacing my actual ice maker, water still wasn't being sent up through the tubes I figured that I needed a new valve. I found this valve on Amazon great deal on price and the seller had good reviews. The seller is wonderful, shipping was extremely fast and packaging was ideal. The installation was incredibly easy just take out the old and hook up the new. I was hoping this new part would solve my problems and so I anxiously watched/listened for the pump sound and sure enough...water was shooting down the ice maker tube and now my ice maker runuth over!!!!!

Once I called customer service a clarified the connectors were the newer quick connect type, everything went together great. Customer service was very helpful since the unit I was replacing had screw on fittings.
