Kenmore 9006 Certified Green Refrigerator Water Filter

I orded 9006 filter , but needed 9005 filter! I sent 9006 filter back Mon. 5/8/12

Im sure the 9006 would be fine in later mod. fridge. But I found out to late mine takes a 9005 filter, not 9006 as book said.

We bought this fridge for our new house that we outfitted with IKEA cabinets. Our new kitchen is fairly small and the size of the fridge was going to make the difference in whether we could fit our kitchen table in there or not. The footprint is much smaller and the fridge is taller than regular fridges but there is not much sacrifice in inside fridge space. We shop for groceries for our family of three 2-3 times a week. This fridge is spacious enough for that purpose. If we only shopped once a week, it probably would be a little too tight. This is a European style fridge of high quality. The finish is nice and durable. It is a simple design with a freezer at the bottom and a fridge above it without special frills like multiple zones or humidity control.

counterdepth, so does not stick out next to cabinets

fridge is at top which is great since you use that more often than the freezer

w x d x h size is 24x27x75 inches (Summit) vs 28 x 30 1/2 x 67 3/8 inches for a typical 18.1 cuft fridge (excl handles)

door fits half gallon milk cartons but not gallon jugs

no icemaker but there is a top tray especially for ice cubes

door handle not reversible

doors close very well. Baby cannot yank open doors

Before we bought it, I got all the specs including interior and exterior dimensions and drawings on the manufacturer's website at which was very helpful in our final decison.

The only thing I do not like about this fridge is the condensation. Condensation drips down from the back wall of the fridge to a little drain which is designed for this purpose. You have to be careful not to put a plastic bag or something in the fridge that touches this wall because then you get water on the shelves. Other than this minor issue, a great fridge and would definitely buy it again.

Finally an affordable counterdepth refrigerator for my small kitchen! It looks great and works great. I was worried about the amount of storage space but it is so smartly designed that I find things fit just fine and they are more easily accessible. I love the height of the refrigerator which makes most things eye level. The freezer arrangement helps keep items sorted and I was surprised by how much fits in it. The ice cube drawer accommodates popsicles nicely as well.:)

I would have gave it 5 stars if it came with an appliance (90 degree) plug.

The counter depth is really nice for a galley kitchen.

Gorgeous appliance. A+ for design. F for noise level. Too bad, I have to send it back for that reason.

MicroLux Freestanding Ice Maker Cold Hot Water Dispenser / Machine - ML560BK

We had a water cooler already but I wanted an ice maker and our refrigerator does not have the capability to have one put in (and the freezer is always full so there's never any room for trays). I saw this wtare cooler / ice maker and while it is costly it does serve 2 purposes. We received it on Friday and my husband did as instructions said as far as taking some things apart to clean, etc... before use. Afterwards he put water bottle on top and within minutes we had ice. Everyone in the house LOVES this machine. Fresh water as usual and now ice at anytime. We haven't run out of ice yet because it senses when it is getting low and makes more. Worth the price to me!!!

Recieved my cooler and plugged it in. Next day no ice. Day after no ice. Checked manual for troubleshooting. Said leave unplugged for eight hours. I left it unplugged for 24. Still no ice a week later. Asked for a return four days ago. Still no response from seller. Will update this review if anything happens. Bad product and poor customer service response time from seller all to report so far.

UPDATE: Seller finally got back to me. They wanted me to pay return shipping on the defective water cooler. I said no and they agreed to pay. Turns out I was up against the 28 day warranty. Seriously, I was told 28 days! I received a refund after a bit of hassle. Customer service wasn't bad just highly unorganized I think.I was told by the technician on the phone my problem was a common one. That surprised me since the add states they are tested before they leave the warehouse? I guess not well? I was told a replacement would ship out within 24 hours. Two weeks later I was told they were backordered and I would get it in a month and a half or so. After I requested a refund it was processed quickly and easily though. No problems there.

The water cooler / ice maker is a great addition to our remodeled kitchen. We can now have ice that is made from bottled water and the design of the unit goes with our new décor.

The only negative is that the machine is noisy. It does not run all of the time but when it does you can really hear it.

The noise is a small price to pay for the convenience of the unit.

I ordered this for my Kitchen Aid Food processor and for the model it described as fitting, the KFP750. The part is quite a bit shorter than the old one, and a more narrow diameter. I purchased the LG refrigerator replacement filter and the product review was for the 5231ja2006b but they shipped the A model. It would have been cheaper to buy the A model elsewhere. Don't believe they product description from this company.

I recently purchased the three door Kenmore Elite fridge with water in the door. 30 days later, the first filter they include with the fridge needed replacing according to the light on the door. Of course I went to the Kenmore web site and paid over $130 for ONE filter from Kenmore. What a rip off. Later I searched around and found this three pack from LG, who is the actual maker of the fridge. I just installed this filter and guess what, the water tastes the same as the filter costing three times more. Let my lesson learned save you some money.

This product is the LG LT600P "B" version, as described. I received 3 of them. The other online market/auction place that starts with e and ends in BAY, charges $65 for each. I got mine for $42 each with free shipping. Saved over $60 dollars buying the same product on Amazon, vs the other "online marketplace."

Can't go wrong. I'm ordering another 3-pack so that I can stock up on these before they are discontinued. Things that are too good to be true always end up being too good to be true...

the track fit.it seems to be nice and sturdy.the only problem that i had was the cost,i thought for what was charged that i was getting two tracks but there was only one.still it worked as advertised so that much is good at least.if i could not find a less expensive option somewhere else i would order again.

Atwood 91059 Inner Tank

This item was exactly what we needed!! We had a leaky hot water heater for a couple of months and finally bought this inner tank and we have had no issues since! My husband had the old one torn out and the new one put back in within an hour or so. Koolatron 28-Quart Soft-Sided Electric Travel Cooler, Black

I will preface this review with this caveat: Auto coolers are not refrigerators. They will keep cold things cold, with help.

My husband drives a truck for 12-16 hours per day. He never stops, so I pack his lunch every day. He carries water, energy drinks, veggies, sandwiches, sometimes pizza, etc. He used a Rubbermaid cooler for a long time, but it was too small. He needed a larger cooler that would fit between the seats of the truck and have more space.

This cooler is HUGE. They make two smaller ones, but since I like to load it up with big ice packs, it's a good size. It'll never actually be full unless we take a trip with it, though. 2 liter bottles stand up in it and I'm guessing that six of them would fit. I load it up with 2 1.5 liter water bottles, a couple of 16 oz lowcarb Monster drinks, plus a sandwich, cherry tomatoes fruit and other snacks and the cooler is still about half full even with the two large blue ice bags.

The Koolatron does the job nicely. It will not cool warm things down well and if left on its own, cold things will start to warm up after 8-10 hours, so I put 2 large blue ice bags in the cooler every morning and they come back at night still partially frozen. Any leftover drinks are still cold.

I also purchased the power inverter so that I could plug in the cooler first thing when I get up. I then load the cooler and the ice bags right before he leaves. That helps considerably.

Is the cooler keeping things at 40*? Doubtful, but it's keeping them cold enough that drinks are refreshing and his food does't spoil. He keeps the AC on in the truck all the time, so the cooler doesn't have to work too hard.

A soft sided cooler like this isn't as effective as a hardsided cooler, so there's a bit of a tradeoff, but it's the largest one I could find that would fit where it needed to go (between the seats of a Peterbilt Daycab after removing the drink holders) and it's lightweight. The shoulder strap makes it easy to carry. By the time I load it down with a couple liters of water, drinks, ice and use the bungee on top for his paperwork, it weighs about 30 pounds or so. A hard cooler would be impossible.

The outside pockets are handy, you can even put ice in the drink holder (which will only hold a cup the diameter of a soda can). There's a mesh pocket in the back that's also very handy.

Overall, we're very pleased with this cooler, but unlike the another reviewer, our expectations were more realistic.

I got this cooler in Late Jan 2011. I took it on a cross country trip even through West Tx, NM and AZ. This cooler kept our items cool and we made sandwiches along the way. I just got back from a trip where I did not have a refrigerator in the hotel room. I took mine in with cream for coffee, cheese and beefstick for late night sandwiches. I plugged it in (with the optional powerpack) and everything was still cold. I added a room temperature soda can on day two and by the time I got home the soda can was cold. I also had cold packs in this refrigerator and they were cold enough to ease sore muscles.

I also put all my items in this cooler cold and add an ice pack.

Update,

I just got back from a trip where I was driving all day. I packed my cold items in the cooler and put a pillow of ice on top. The ice pillows I refreeze each night when I am in a hotel that has a freezer. Most days I was driving 10-12 hours. I place the cooler in the back of my SUV and plug it in. I place light colored fabric on top to reduce the solar effect. Most of the driving days were 95-100 degrees. My food arrived cold and some of it was still frozen as I brought frozen food with me to eat at night and the ice pillows were still partially frozen. I will be going to Fl in a couple weeks and will be taking my cooler with me. It is doing a great job for me.

Great cooler, just remember to chill your products, and a blue chill block (couple of bucks at wally world etc) helps also. Put a weeks worth of sandwich fixin's in and the stuff was still cold a week later. Easy to transport, and just the right size for one person.

We got this cooler due to its larger size, soft-sidedness, and cooling capability. We have two young kids and we do several family road trips, so we thought it would be a good fit for long journeys, especially keeping juice, milk, string cheese, etc. cool enough throughout the day. While technically the cooler worked, it could have been a lot better, and it really isn't worth the hassles or price for what it delivers.

Having read other reviews, here's what I agree with:

There's a difference between refrigeration and "cooling"

The cooler is quite large

Using this cooler did indeed keep items a bit colder than if we hadn't used the cooling function

However, these agreements don't cover the negatives.

While the item fits on the floor in front of the rear seat in our SUV, the fan is awfully noisy, and pushes out a bit of heat.

The durability and construction is questionable, as a few of the zipper pulls broke on its maiden voyage. We ended up using bent paper clips for the rest of the trip.

the side pockets don't offer enough elasticity to allow much more than paper, cards, or possibly a rigid string cheese stick

when testing prior to departure, the cooler struggled to keep the internal temperature below 66 degrees, even though items came from the fridge, and the house thermostat was set at 76.

After two days, the warm exhaust and droning noise in-vehicle were too much, so we unplugged it and used it as a soft-sided conventional cooler for the remainder of our trips. The cooling unit took up interior space, and the odd exterior pockets weren't useful, and the aforementioned zipper issue made using it less satisfactory than if we had picked up a different cooler for half the price (not even including the adapter).

Bottom line: we're hoping to get $15 at our next garage sale for it (including adapter). A bit of a waste.
