I very much wanted to enjoy this microwave due to its appearance. Looked darling in my kitchen! Alas, it does not function past three minutes. That's right. Try to cook a microwave meal in it for more than three minutes and poof it mysteriously shuts itself off and will not start again for several minutes. Trying to fool it by cooking for 2 minutes, followed by another 2 minutes does not work, either.

Perhaps I just got a lemon (it is red, though) and it shuts itself off because it was poorly made. Not going to take a chance with another one, though. I returned it just in the nick of time and will look for a better brand now.

Horrible product. I orginially bought it because I thought it would be super cute in my kitchen and thought, "It's just a microwave of course it's going to work". No. Day one we heated a plate of leftovers and the top of the microwave got so hot you couldn't even touch it. After two minutes it automatically shut down completely. We unplugged it, waited a few minutes and plugged it back in...nothing. Day two, we used it to warm my tea up (2 minutes) and it shut down after a minute into it. Then it never worked again. It's being returned back as we speak.

There is something poorly made about the electronics in this microwave. Looks great, worked great for the first week.

Suddenly (and JUST after I finished breaking down the box it came in, no less) it stopped working. The only function I can actually do is microwave... the four buttons under the dial don't work anymore (clock, express, stop/cancel and power level). So I can still heat food up, but how much do you want to bet that if after a week this thing stops working to this extent... I'm not in for a good run?

I hear amazon returns are easy, here's hoping. But I have no car or anything, and need to get a box to ship somehow. And maybe even need to get somewhere to ship it?

Yeah, in other words, it's hugely disappointing to me that this microwave could not be relied on. I am in for another couple weeks without a nuker.

Update: It worked again when I left it unplugged for a while, in my case, overnight. But I am wary now... it seems there must be something in its electronics that is iffy. So I will say three stars, in that it works great while it works, but I shall be forever unsure whether it will.

And lo: as I probably should have expected, within a day of it working again, it again doesn't work. Don't buy this POS.

Five month Update: I am lazy, so I've found myself not returning it, just using it with only the dial. It works as a microwave, but I can't use any of the button functionality, all I can do is nuke things on standard power for a given time. So, the rating will remain the same, but on the humanitarian side, if you are interested in my plight, I've managed to make it work acceptably. Choose more wisely than I did!

I saw this red and chrome microwave at a store and fell in love, but the box was damaged and it was the last one left. I came home and checked on Amazon and, of course, found it for much less and with free shipping. I bought on Saturday and it arrived on Tuesday morning. That is fantastic! I read a lot of reviews on the other colors, and some complained that it was noisy. It was loud at first, but now after a week it seems fine. I'm not sure if I'm used to it now or if it has settled down. I tend to think it is actually not as loud now. Also, there was a metallic piece of chipboard on the right side of the interior. I was not sure if it was packing material or not, and I popped it out and heated something up and my microwave-safe plate cracked. I put the rectangular piece back in and have not had that problem again. So, only remove the tape on the outside of the door and untie the cables in the back when you are setting up. I wish they made a similar model vented for under the cabinet/above the stove. But this one takes up less precious counter space than my previous GE microwave, and I really like the retro styling. Big Chill is coming out with one for $595, which makes this quite a bargain.

This is a piece of crap! 2 seconds into the 1st cup of coffee warming, severe acrid smell of burned electric motor & noisy as HELL..

I wouldn't trust drinking or eating anything this has heated up. Should have listened to the previous reviews that said the same thing and not the enthusiastic ones.

This is a "retro-vive-polished" turd, but it's still a turd. Can't even find the country of manufacture on the box.

Too bad, they could have done something really cool, instead went for the cheap visual effect.

I know Amazon sells hundreds on thousands of items and can't check them all, but this... So sorry I bought it, sending it back right away...

This Grill was just like the original. The only problem with it is that it start showing hard water residue almost imediately and it is very diffiult to remove without damaging the grill.

Every year my wife and I buy something for the house as an anniversary present to each other. This year we decided to replace our aging GE Potscrubber 900 dishwasher.

I research the heck out of major purchases, and one of my friends used to work at an appliance store, so I quickly found Bosch had possibly the best reputation for dishwashers.

After deciding to go with Bosch, it was just a question of which model.

After looking over the choices, it boiled down to this one, or one model below. This one was quieter, and more energy efficient. Electric rates in Connecticut are high enough that I expect to make up the cost difference between the two models with electricity savings.

So much for how I got here. Here's information from using it:

It's incredibly quiet the "noise level" when it's running is about what you'd expect from a new refrigerator. Noise is not going to be a reason to postpone running this one.

The racks have all sorts of adjustments most of the tines can be set at several angles ranging from 90 degrees to flat. Have extra bowls to wash? adjust a few tines. The top rack can be adjusted for height this allows me to fit the massive pot I use for brewing beer in the lower rack.

The silverware basket keeps the silverware separated so each item gets clean.

It has a gentle cycle that's good for delicate china and stemware. I was sorry to find the stemware holder is an optional accessory. We don't drink wine often, but it's about the only thing that seems to be missing.

So far everything we've put through this dishwasher has come out clean on one cycle. With our previous dishwasher, sometimes we'd need to soak and scrub some things before putting them through a second run. I'm using about half the soap I used to use per load because it doesn't have (or need) a prewash cup for soap.

The run time is longer than we were used to with our previous dishwasher. From my research I've found this is normal with more efficient dishwashers. Our longest cycle so far was 2 hours 25 minutes, and that was auto wash for a very full load with a sanitary cycle. They also offer a "party wash" cycle that's designed to be very fast for lightly soiled glasses or dishes.

You should use jetdry or a drying agent on every load. One reason it's so energy efficient is it doesn't normally add heat for drying. (but you can tell it to add heat if you want) Still, with using jetdry, the dishes are always dry when we check.

We expect to be in this house for many years, and looked at this appliance as a long term investment. So far, it looks like it was a good one.

Looks good and is so quiet it has a little red LED that shiones on the floor to let you know that it is washing.

BUT...

Bosch customer service is horrible. The worst I have come across in 52 years.

The electronics are failure prone. We have had the dishwasher for 3 years and have had the control module fail 3 times. Each time it took a minimum of 3 service visits to get it replaced. The excuse we have heard each time is that Bosch dishwashers are relatively unknown and the parts are hard to get. The first time the electronics failed, it took 3 MONTHS to get it repaired and we are in a major metro area with a population of 4 million.

We will not purchase a Bosch dishwasher again, and when it fails next, we will buy CR's top rated Kenmore, which ios $1,000 cheaper and apparently much more reliable.

We purchased this Bosch dishwasher SHX98M09UC after much Internet research 2 months ago and have used it every day since.

The dishwasher is light enough to be maneuvred into place by one person and the installation was rather simple with the very complete instructions provided. The operation manual is also clear and the controls easy to understand.

The design is stunning: all stainless in the front, with a heavy-duty handle and very nice digital display on the facade, although the actual touch controls are hidden on top of the door. The inside is stainless steel also, great at retaining heat. All accessories are high grades and we appreciate the adjustable top rack and removable silverware holders. As with all stainless appliances, it's hard to keep it looking clean very long as it shows finger prints a lot more than painted appliances.

The drain is covered with an easy-to-remove filter basket that we have not had to empty yet in 2 months of use (I understand some cheaper dishwashers have small "garbage-disposal" instead of a collecting basket, and those can fail or not always work properly as well as being noisy)

It's energy efficient as I understand the drying is performed by the heat retained in the walls of the washer. So far, we have not observed any difference in our electric bill.

I believe it also uses small amounts of water (it's a very small water line going to the washer and a few seconds are always enough to pump enough water for the program. Emptying is also very quick)

The cleanliness of the dishes is good on the Auto Wash program, which we have been using most.

With the recommended drying agent, glasses and fine china come out looking very good with no water spot.

Heavy soiled pots may need a little rinse before the wash, especially with some caked-on food, such as eggs.

Plastic ware comes out OK from the top rack and, with the limited heat of this dishwasher, is not warped.

The main reason why we decided on this washer is the noise rating: the quietest we could find in our price range. And on this point, we were just blown away! The first time we turned it on, we had trouble believing it was running! Our kitchen is open to the living room and now, no need to turn up the volume on the TV when the dishwasher is running (big difference from the old Whirlpool we had before). To me, this only is worth the high price tag!

Even the water emptying into the sink pipes is very quiet.

Before buying, I had considered the equivalent Kenmore Elite (same price) but the noise rating was 4 dB more (3 dB= double the noise!) and the racks a tad flimsier at first look. The Kenmore Elite had more gadgets such as a "turbo wash" nozzle, knife holder and additional washing programs and options. In general, I prefer simpler systems that are reliable and of high quality so I am very happy with this Bosch choice.

I would warmly recommend this appliance if you need a new dishwasher that doesn't rattle and wake you up!

UPDATE 2010: We have been using the dishwasher for nearly a year now and it's as great as the first day we got it.

The drain basket rarely needs emptying, the dishes are clean and never damaged (especially plastics), the washer is very easy to operate and most of all, it's so quiet it still surprises us!

Don't hesitate: this is an excellent buy!

UPDATE 1/27/2012: I am surprised to see that so many reviewers report issues so I wanted to add a couple comments:

Here, the dishwasher is going strong and it still looks as good as when we received it.

We have had one hiccup when we moved to Costco's Kirkland liquid dishwasher detergent: the dishes were no longer as clean as expected and it took us a while to figure out that going back to the tablets Bosch recommends for their machine would bring back the perfect performance. In the meantime, another liquid detergent gave us very poor results too (can't remember the brand?): it seems that this dishwasher should be used with tablets only.

Since going back to the recommended (is it Finish? It's the ones with the red ball in the center) tablets, we couldn't be happier!

I also noticed comments about dishes not being dry. I wanted to mention that we always use a rinse/dry agent (the washer indicates when it runs out). We have been changing brands depending on availability/sales so it must not be as important as using tablets. The only time the dishes are not completely dry is if you open the washer before the end of the program: it's a bit tricky because it sounds like nothing is happening anymore when it is drying; it is totally quiet but the display gives you a drying time.

I wish all could be as satisfied as we are...

We remodeled our kitchen and purchased this particular Bosch because it seemed like a great machine and there were some good reviews I decided to ignore the bad reviews thinking the complainers were just unhappy people. Well, now it is 3 months later and my dishes are not drying, the door is not functioning (it's floppy), and it is leaking all over my hardwood floors! (sorry complainers, i should have listened) I suspect all of these problems are related to each other, because it makes sense logically, but getting someone to come out and fix it has been awful and I live in the Metro DC area where you would think there'd be a lot of companies who would service Bosch when they are under warranty. Apparently many of the companies don't like to take warranty work (i'm sure the fee schedule is not very good for them) so its been a challenge. Only one company has been somewhat polite to me while I seek repair, and I'm going with them. In addition, and not related to the fact that it is broken, I think I underestimated how small this dishwasher actually is inside. It's very small, I can't fit nearly as much, and I am very good at loading so as to maximize use of the entire space. Nobody had this model on the floor, and since it was so expensive, I figured it would be larger inside than the others I did see. I'm not a fan of the silverware basket either, its awkward to use and fits very little. There was also this tray thing at the top that I can't figure out what it is for, and it is annoying. Maybe I need to read about what it is in the book. I will say that it is definitely quiet you can barely hear it that is rather amazing. I also think the red light is nice. Overall, I think I could have done better and spent far less and next time I will do a better job researching. Now, if I can just get this fixed!!

The DW looked nice--really quiet, worked fine while it worked. But very poor reliability. Once it fails, you are out of luck. Authorized repair is backlogged (hmmm, I wonder why?), and knows they are the only choice you have. Calls to Bosch are useless-they have your money and will not stand behind their products--they told me "repairs are not our problem!!!" Costs for repairs are outrageous. And 'authorized repair' makes all-day appointments and does not show up or call, and when they finally showed up the 2nd day I took off work, they REPAIRED THE WRONG PART so it still didn't work and I had to miss a 3rd day of work for a single repair! After 2 repairs and needing a 3rd for $500, mine went to the dump and I replaced it with non-Bosch for half the price that cleans as well, actually works, and is 98% as quiet. I bought a Bosch front loading stacked washer about the same time as the DW--same issues--frequent overpriced repairs, poor service, etc. My old DW and washer were over 10 years old with no problems, and my new non-Bosch ones have needed no repairs-I wouldn't take a Bosch product for free.

Sadly I bought this product from Wine Enthusiast who are very eager to sell but have no interest in supporting the client once they secured the sale. The long list of problems you can find in endless reviews of frustrated customers (victims) include: ice build-up, inaccurate and unstable temperature and most of all no one from Wine Enthusiast to help or even respond to your calls.

I bought Wine refrigerator unit (Capacity: Up to 235 bottles) in 2007 and since that it was broken twice and even though it's on 5 year warranty, WINE ENTHUSIAST refused to fix it for the second time it's broken and ask me to pay extra for the new unit to ship to me ( STILL UNDER WARRANTY!!!). Never buy here again, share my terrible experience with everyone I know. Spent 5 days on the phone with customer service and promise that their GM will call me back...never called me back. Very disappointed.

If you know anything about wine, you know you need a steady 55 with 60-80% humidity. This does that very well as cheaply as possible.

If the Wine Enthusiast delivery oafs insist on plugging the unit in to test it simply because they fear having to return in the case of a non-functioning unit (we heard "Look, I've been doin' this for a while...I know what I'm doin'") you can tell them to sit 'n spin: read the directions...it's clearly marked ALL OVER (sticker on cabinet, instructions) that you MUST let the unit stand upright for 48hrs to allow gases to settle BEFORE plugging it in for the first time.

Maybe this is why folks besides me are having issues with the Chamber? I love it. It's the best deal out there.

The only legit complaints about this unit are the volume (vs "ideal" sized, non-existent bottles), and the resulting Tetris bottle stacking challenge you're in for. Eh, you get used to it. Other than that: never budges from 54.6 degrees, humidity is working, life is good. I've had it for a year and a half now.

The last annoying facet? the manual indicates your bottles shouldn't touch the cold walls. I'd really like to see how someone could do that....you've gotta be kidding. I just try to have my baller bottles on the inside vs edges.

I bought this for our office. It sits about 10 feet from my desk and after about 5 minutes of it being plugged in, I felt like I was in the Bermuda Triangle again, just waiting until I found my home at the bottom of the sea. Shwoooooo. That's what this thing sounds like.

It takes a while to get something cold, and there's always a block of ice in the back of the machine. To my knowledge there isn't a warmer or colder setting, so that seems to be a flaw in manufacturing. Either that or that's just the way they come, I'm not sure.

Anyway, yeah it's loud, but it looks nice and in my line of work it's all about presentation. 4 Stars simply because it does what I need it to without much fuss, and the noise provides a nice ambiance at work. More so than the phones ringing...

I bought this product as a christmas gift for my sister and her boyfriend, and they love it!! If they are happy then I am happy. So it was a job well done, for the price of the product and happiness, it was well worth it. :)

I bought this fridge about 2 years ago. I've had none of the issues that the other reviewer spoke of. I will hazard to say the review was from a competitor.

If a consumer has such fundamental issues with an item so early on, why didn't he get it fixed/replaced/rectified under the warranty?

The guy just goes on and on about how bad it was, suggesting customer service just blew him off, never specifying what had to be done or whether it was one.

It is a classic false complaint generated by competitors to disparage a decent product.

At any rate, I love this fridge...it looks beautiful and works as quietly and efficiently as has been advertised.

And no, I don't work for Whirlpool, nor does anyone I know.

i have had my refrigerator for 3 years, and i had the same problem that other reviewers had. the freezer would work fine, but the refrigerator would not cool. the problem was that the motherboard blew (the technician said it was probably from a sudden power loss). i believe i spent just over $400 to have the motherboard replaced and have not had a problem since.

however, in order to get the unit fixed, i had to suffer through the customer service of a&e factory service. i had an appointment window of 8 am to noon. the technician did not get to my house until 6 pm! i read other reviews of a&e and the lateness appears to be pervasive. i will never buy an appliance where the warranty is covered by a&e.

other than that, the refrigerator is fine. the freezer could be considered on the smaller side, but it works for my family's purpose. i like the look of the bottom freezer, but next time i think i will either go for a side by side or top, they don't seem to have the problems bottoms do.

So far, so good but it took a week of research online, going to stores and talking to appliance people on the phone to make a decision to purchase this model. The word on refrigeration today from consumers does not inspire confidence. After reading all the consumer complaints of every model...none of them in this price bracket seemed Built-To-Last for more than 5 years and that's IF you are lucky to get to 5 yrs without a major repair. My old fridge was Kitchen-Aid and I purchased it in 1996 so, things have changed in the industry and not for the better for consumers.

I paid $1489.00 and purchased a warranty contract for 5 years. Having to purchase warranty contracts for every appliance reveals how fragile today's appliances really are. I also own a Whirlpool range and the Motherboard blew after only 1 year. My last range Kitchen Aid lasted 14 yrs with 1 repair. I did not buy a warranty for the range (naive) but after speaking to Whirlpool's Hazard Dept. they agreed to fix it on their dime, this time.

Every appliance carries only a 1 year warranty today which is also telling of the lack of confidence these companies have in their own products! (LG has a 5 yr on their fridges compressors but lots of complaints about breakage on their fridges.) Repairs to these appliances without a warranty cost almost as much as buying a new one. So...consumers throw out a young appliance and buy a new one but are also realizing after this happens a few times that this is planned obsolescence by the appliance companies! Where do appliances go to die...landfills. They may now be more efficient according to the EPA standards..but 1)they don't last as long and 2)the landfills are taking the brunt. I would think the EPA would be concerned about that but it doesn't seem so.

I went into this purchase with my eyes open but could never find one model or appliance company in the affordable bracket that has not been trashed by owners for breakage or had many consumer complaints registered! The identical thing happened when I needed a new washer & dryer and thankfully, I found Speed Queen. The problems in today's appliances stem from failure of the Motherboards and Speed Queen does not use them in the model I purchased. I LOVE my SQ washer and dryer and wish that there were a refrigerator company who would build with the same integrity as SQ builds their products. If there is a company out there who does that....I couldn't find them. SQ washers/dryers have lasted consumers up to 27 years!

Now, to the Whirlpool fridge. I have to say, I love it...right now that is. It's very pretty in stainless and having the freezer on the bottom has been great. Being able to open the door and see everything clearly at eye level is fabulous, no more bending over digging around looking for things! If you wanted to hide something in my Kitchen Aid like chocolate...you could put it on the top shelve because no one in my family would bend over to look on that shelf lol. I can't hide anything any longer in this fridge, it's all on display (thankfully).

I love the the shelving set-up, the big bins & door bins but Whirlpool could have made those bins a little stronger imo. My old Kitchen-Aid had bins & door shelves that were pretty, substantial and on smooth rollers with stops. These bins and door shelves are very thin clear plastic, no rollers and could break/crack easily. I've read online from other owners that they have broken and replacing them is expensive. This goes hand-in-hand with the question of whether these appliances are made to last more than 5 years. Whirlpool does not keep parts for any appliance past the 7 yr mark. Hum? (The same model but a Kitchen Aid cost $400 more so, the bins,etc. were probably of better quality.) Whirlpool owns Kitchen Aid and a total of 13 appliance brands.

So far, it's keeping everything cool but I have to set it at 7 which is the highest level and it keeps it at 40 degrees. The regulation temp is suppose to be 35-38 degrees but that's the best this can do on hot days. The freezer is set at 4 and seems to be perfect. There is only 1 compressor in this model which operates both the freezer and fridge. The Samsung twin of this model has 2 (one for each) which is better but getting a Samsung repaired apparently is a nightmare. I'm not sure if keeping it on 7 will stress the compressor over time but summer in VA is very hot so, 7 it is and if it breaks...I will come back to update this review.

I kept the door bins from the Kitchen Aid because they are pretty and well made. I'm using them to hold bottles of rarely used things like, olives, soy sauce, etc. and put them at the back of the glass fridge shelves because it keeps them from falling over and spilling when you reach for something else. I also kept the egg holder because this model doesn't come with one.

There is an ice maker in this model but I turned it off and will not be using it.

Purchased the Gold Series Whirlpool bottom freezer model 18 months ago and have had nothing but problems with both the unit and customer service. Seems like there is a design flaw with this because the bottom of freezer continues to build up with ice and then starts to leak on the floor. This seems to cause odors with the ice as well. I have defrosted, de-iced, and cleaned the drain multiple times but the issue reoccurs. Whirlpool customer service is very poor they behave like they are trying to limit exposure and damage related to a flaw. I would advise anyone NOT to buy this or any other Whirlpool product. If you doubt this review Google the issue and you will find many similar experiences, If you buy this model be prepared to constantly be breaking up sheets of ice from the freezer bottom and mopping up puddles from your floor!

I am a very busy person and, although I'm a fervent believer in sharing and reviewing with other consumers, I don't get around to doing so as much as I would like. This time, I forced myself to do this. Throughout the years shopping at Amazon, I have come to rely on people like you to provide their honest, unbiased feedback on products, which products I will either purchase or not based on the information provided.

So here it is ... this wine cellar arrives in a well-packaged, cushioned box (this is always a good sign for me!); none of those shabby, flimsy boxes that are barely held together by plastic tie raps, and with Chinese characters and markings from all over the planet ...

The tinted glass w/ black trim and black cabinet makes for a very elegant look, conveying a more expensive, refined appearance that belies its price. This unit is truly quiet, and quick to respond to room temperature changes, or user settings. The 12-bottle capacity (6 and 6) is really adequate for me, and I think for most people other than the well-to-do rich and shameless or oenophiles. One of the nicest features, which I did not have in my last wine cooler, is the dual zone compartments with different temperature ranges each to accommodate reds and whites. The unit is fairly light weight, and has sub-minimal vibration. The electronics in the back look very similar to the pcba (printed circuit board) in my last wine cooler that I purchased from Wine Enthusiast much to my regret later. Said unit was supposedly rated best by the wine experts at the Wall Street Journal. I relied on their advice, unfortunately, and had all kinds of issues with the unit. It would not cool down to its lower range except in the winter months (I live in Florida), and -compared to this Haier cellar, it was rather noisy. Careful with purchasing wine coolers in this price range from said vendor. Now back to the unit in question ...

The digital temperature readouts are blue, and are soothing to look at. The interior light is nice, although it does not shine on the lower compartment (for white wines) very well. As I said, even though the circuitry is very similar, the Performance of this unit is Much, much better. I have had the unit for a month and a half now. It has a year's warranty, and a clear, simple instruction manual. I don't recall where the unit was made at this moment. I believe it was either Mexico, or Malaysia. I will confirm that later. Overall, Im pleased with this wine cellar, and relieved that it has met my strict expectations ...

I bought this Haier wine cellar after my Cuisinart broke just one year into its use (it was a wedding gift and otherwise would not have been our first choice). As soon as you unpack the product, the Haier wine cellar looks and sounds a lot more "clean cut" than the Cuisinart, with a sleek black exterior, more pronounced lighting, and a quieter cooling system. Overall the impression is of a well designed product. The unit is very easy to use, I only read the manual to make sure I kept the appropriate distance from walls. One caveat for all potential buyers to know is the fact that this is not designed to be a built-in unit! So make sure you have free standing space. I will update this review after a few weeks of use, but thus far I am very happy with the product, especially considering the price.

It's been almost two weeks now since I received this unit, and I am still very impressed. The fan is very quiet and does not disturb me at all. I wonder if users who report loud fan noises either have a defective unit, or a fan with lots of dust collected around it. I've had my A/C malfunction for two days and the unit did not become any louder than before while still cooling the wine to the indicated temperature.

The full beauty of having a wine fridge with two different temperature zones became apparent when we bought a mixed crate of wine. Being able to store reds and whites in such close proximity but at equally well-adjusted temperatures is wonderful when hosting guests since our unit is in reaching-distance of the dining table (the Cuisinart was a bit of an eye sore, so we had to hide it in the pantry, but the Haier looks nice enough to keep out in the open).

The front panel does tend to collect fingerprints, especially since it is glossy black, but this is a payoff with all shiny-black products and not unique to the Haier wine fridge. The unit is easy to clean and does not require any special cleaning needs.

The unit is still deserving my 5-star rating at this point. I will update the review, should any issues arise.

Received our cooler over a week ago. The unit ships well packaged... both in the factory box (styrofoam padding) and an outer box with thick bubble wrap. We set the cooler up in our dining room, and are pleased with the aesthetics of the design. Further, we were surprised at how quickly it cooled down to the set temperatures, but then we only loaded two bottles in each of the zones (we added more bottle over the course of several days).

Sound level no problem with our cooler. The only sound is that made by the fans, which I would describe as similar to computer fans if not less. This model uses a thermal electric cooler, which means there is no compressor, and thus no compressor sounds.

A note about thermal electric cooling the cold temperatures that may be obtained are based on ambient room temperature. Performance will suffer if you plan on placing the unit in a warm/hot room. From the manual... For this model, when the ambient temperature is 77, the lowest temperature that can be reached is 50 52. When the ambient temperature is 73, the cabinet can reach approximately 46-48.

I placed this unit at 4 stars. The only knock is for performance in warm rooms, and the fact that the descriptions do not state these factors (important to know before making the purchase).

This wine cellar has been fantastic. With the dual zone control it keeps the red's and the white's at the perfect temperature. It is extremely quiet and doesn't make any noise. I would highly recommend this for wine lovers. One drawback is the interior light only illuminates the top cabinet and not the lower half.

I have been purchasing products through Amazon for years and have never felt compelled to complete a review until now. The purchase of this wine cellar has been nothing short of fantastic. The product arrived well packaged and easy to install. Since I have started using the product I have found it to be very quite (it virtually inaudible), compact, aesthetically pleasing, and wonderful if you want to store wines at different temperatures. I did not find any difficulty storing standard sized wine bottles however, the racks are removable on the inside should you choose to store other sized bottles. Since the cellar has been operating in my home there have been two separate weeks when the temperatures outdoors reach 103 degrees and the cellar never showed any difficulties maintaining the refrigerated temperatures I set the compartments to. I cannot recommend this product enough if you are looking for an attractive, compact, and quite little wine cellar.
