The refrigerator looks and works fine. However, the water line of its water dispenser broke in less than two years of usage. We can no longer use the water dispenser.

The water line (pipe/tube) was obviously defective -it is not something that you would expect it to break.

But the follow up experience has been very disappointing. I called Whirlpool support to get some hints on where to get the tube and how to install. After a long interaction with the voice-operated device and after giving a great deal of information and confirming my address, telephone number, refrigerator type, model number, etc, I was informed that that the office is closed and I should call back on Monday. If the support office is closed, why collecting so much information from me? I called back on Monday; the same story (lots of information was collected) and after a long while, I was told to call a local service man.

After two days of calls, and reading online resources, I still have been unable to identify the part number and instructions on how to replace the line. The manual says nothing about such a problem.

Whirlpool refrigerator model ED5KVE series are TOO NOISY !!! Do NOT buy one or you will be bothered daily !!! According to Sears' customer servife when complained, the noise is "due to the Energy Star rating", i.e. it is a price of saving energy with an annual energy consumption is ~$570. The trade off is not worth it.

Sadly I bought this product from Wine Enthusiast who are very eager to sell but have no interest in supporting the client once they secured the sale. The long list of problems you can find in endless reviews of frustrated customers (victims) include: ice build-up, inaccurate and unstable temperature and most of all no one from Wine Enthusiast to help or even respond to your calls.

I bought Wine refrigerator unit (Capacity: Up to 235 bottles) in 2007 and since that it was broken twice and even though it's on 5 year warranty, WINE ENTHUSIAST refused to fix it for the second time it's broken and ask me to pay extra for the new unit to ship to me ( STILL UNDER WARRANTY!!!). Never buy here again, share my terrible experience with everyone I know. Spent 5 days on the phone with customer service and promise that their GM will call me back...never called me back. Very disappointed.

If you know anything about wine, you know you need a steady 55 with 60-80% humidity. This does that very well as cheaply as possible.

If the Wine Enthusiast delivery oafs insist on plugging the unit in to test it simply because they fear having to return in the case of a non-functioning unit (we heard "Look, I've been doin' this for a while...I know what I'm doin'") you can tell them to sit 'n spin: read the directions...it's clearly marked ALL OVER (sticker on cabinet, instructions) that you MUST let the unit stand upright for 48hrs to allow gases to settle BEFORE plugging it in for the first time.

Maybe this is why folks besides me are having issues with the Chamber? I love it. It's the best deal out there.

The only legit complaints about this unit are the volume (vs "ideal" sized, non-existent bottles), and the resulting Tetris bottle stacking challenge you're in for. Eh, you get used to it. Other than that: never budges from 54.6 degrees, humidity is working, life is good. I've had it for a year and a half now.

The last annoying facet? the manual indicates your bottles shouldn't touch the cold walls. I'd really like to see how someone could do that....you've gotta be kidding. I just try to have my baller bottles on the inside vs edges.

LG : WM3001HPA 27 Front-Load Steam Washer - Platinum

I bought this washing machine a few years back. It started failing right after warranty,

failing with "out of balance" errors. I called a repairman given to me by LG service, and

he told me that he had tried to repair these machines before, and they didn't get better.

I called LG and asked for a factory service repairman this time.

LG sent a LG factory repairman. He kept coming back each week for over a month, each time

replacing something different on the washer, but with no change. They even told me that it

might be my fault, that the floor wasn't "stiff" enough, despite the fact that it had worked

fine for a year, and that I had previously had a front load washer in the same spot without

issue for 10 years. I spent a lot to reinforce the floor, and the machine was no different.

At last, they told me they were giving up, they didn't know how to fix it. I have never had

anyone tell me they didn't know how to fix their own product and were just giving up. They

told me they would "buy it back", for a sum prorated for the life of the washer since it

was out of warranty.

They picked up the unit. I have yet to see a dime from LG. Every week I call them and it is

something else, the machine got shipped to the wrong place, the paperwork got misplaced, etc.

I am convinced they are trying to slow pay it.

I expected better from LG. This is a top of the line washer. It is also the last LG product

I ever buy. Everything points to the machine being an inherent lemon.

Dishwasher was making a loud noise. I was able to determine that it was the circulation motor. Looked up a replacement on the Fridgidair website, ordered it on Amazon, got it in a couple of days. Installation was fairly easy, thanks to a U-Tube demonstration. Works great nice and quiet.

I had a leak on my dish washer and figured out the PN I needed from a web search. I was pleasantly surprised (again) that Amazon had it and at a much better price than anywhere else. This kit does include the two O-rings you should replace at the same time.

Whirlpool WDF530PAYW 530 24" White Full Console Dishwasher - Energy Star

This is the third Whirlpool dishwasher that I have had fail in the last 3 years! This one failed exactly one month after the warranty expired (Whirlpool didn't even consider extended a courtesy to a loyal customer), the one before that lasted 2 years, the one before that 10 years.

Whirpool seems to be in a steep decline in overall quality. I manage rental units and repair/replace dishwashers and appliances all the time, but these newest Whirlpool models are unsatisfactory and unreliable. The no frills, cheap off-brand dishwashers last far longer with no problems.

For years Whirlpool was my "go to" brand for major appliances, but after this series of failures I will be looking for a more reliable brand.

If you are able to cut through the mesh-type filter, and are accurate with your measurements, you can get two filters instead of one. The original filter had more velcro on it than the replacement. I ended up removing the Velcro tabs from the old filter and placed them on the new one. Still not and ideal situation.

I bought this because I had to replace my old, nasty looking carbon filters. It is annoying that you have to cut the filters to shape, but I am able to get 2 sets of filter replacements out of my purchased piece. I used a rotary blade to cut the filters it was quite easy.

The only difference from original filter is that you have to cut it to size. A little larger is better than smaller.

I purchased a merchandiser and dry display case from Cooltech and I am shocked at the poor design and quality of the merchandiser. The racks are ill fitting, the brackets were rusted (new unit).
