Bought it on May 2nd, 2011 during out trip to Orlando. It died before we made it home on May 14th. Tried new batteries and tried to bypass switch. It looks like motor is dead.

Swift Green Replacement for LG LT700P Refrigerator Filter

I bought this to save money as a replacement filter for my LG french door fridge. I have re-inserted it twice, and it fits properly. I have run at least 5 gallons through the filter. The problem is my water has a plastic taste...my sons says it "tastes like you are drinking from a hose." I will give it a couple more weeks to settle in, but then will have to break down and buy the higher price LG LT700P filter. Lesson learned :(

Item was installed and water flow has definitely improved. Don't know if it's working but the water tastes fine. Would purchase again.

Some of the other reviews complained of poor taste, but I like the taste of my water with the new filter. And the pressure is better. Water comes out faster. I have not tested the water for impurities while using this filter but so far the taste is better.

After a refrigerator repair man came to my home and charged me $300 to replace a part in my refrigerator that did not need replacing (he refused to give me back any of my money), I decided to go at it myself. I'm a single mother and have never done anything like this before, but since here in Tennesse refrigerator repair people do not need to be certified I figured I could do it. Just what I was looking for, but these are expensive and break constantly. I bought one in 2006 after 3 years of it being broken more often than it worked and much complaining from me (this is a $4,000 tiny refrigerator!!), U-Line replaced it... And the replacement is even more of a lemon.

Product is awful and U-Line's service is even worse. We live in a major metropolitan area and I think U-Line has been through contracts with 8 local service companies duing that time the local people report they just cnt get the parts or the prduct support necessary.

I will never ever ever buy from them again and I urge you not to either!!!

After having this refrigerator repaired 3 times in its first 2 years, at a total cost of about $600, and including 2 weeks in the shop, it began leaking about 6 months later. This time Uline offered to replace the fridge and repair any damage done to the floor. The new fridge was installed 3 days ago. It does not work. As instructed, we've reset the circuit breaker, and still it is not cooling. Just showing the "Er" message to which we have become so accustomed. WHEN it works, it makes great ice.
