I've had this product installed for about 2 months, and thus far it has fully met my expectations. It's unrealistic to expect to house 51 bottles due to the oversize width of some bottles. However, I had expected this based on reviews I read prior to my purchase. Realistically, plan on 46 bottles and be pleasantly surprised if you can get more in.

The fridge is fine, but NO customer service. The first one leaked freon from the moment it was plugged in. They finally replaced it.... but what a nightmare! Their people are unhelpful, do not return messages, and give you zero support. When they finally shipped the replacement, I couldn't understand why it was WEEKS late. Finally I tracked it down -first, they'd shipped it late, second, they hadn't bothered to tell me when it was being shipped, and finally -I love this part, since it's a snapshot of the whole process --even when I got ahold of them, they never told me that it was a special delivery and UPS would hang onto it until I called them and arranged a special delivery. I tried to complain, the service dept wouldn't take my calls, even the President refused to take calls. If you have any choice, don't do business with Avanti -decent products, terrible service and treatment of customers.

ADDENDUM So, it's now 3 months since the replacement arrived and this one is going bad too. Apparently the fan is shot. Just not quality products. My advice is spend the extra and buy from one of the better manufacturers.

Buy it, enjoy it, pray it never needs service. Because if you ever need a part, more than likely, you are going to be flat out of luck.

I have a 35-bottle Avanti cooler that is a few years old. The thermostat went out on it. I called Avanti.

Them: That unit has been discontinued.

Me: OK, how do I go about getting a replacement thermostat?

Them: That unit has been discontinued.

Me: Can you recommend an appliance parts store that may have a replacement thermostat?

Them: No.

Hoping that I had just had the bad luck to have drawn a service rep who was having a bad day, I called again later. Same story.

I spent hours searching the Internet for a replacement part. No luck there, either.

So, buy it, enjoy it, and pray you never need service.

We bought the wine cooler to replace a trash compactor that we never used. It's not quiet (quite noticable when it's running) but I can live with that. What annoys me is that when the power goes out (happens a lot in Houston) the cooler resets to factory defaults, ignoring any temperature you set and forgetting other settings like Celcius versus Fahrenhiet. Since I use it to store red wine this results in the wine being much colder than it should be. For this reason I cannot recommend this product to anyone serious about red wine.

I purchased this model to replace a trash compactor in my kitchen during a remodel 2 years ago. When the cooler was first installed, it was kind of loud, but not too bad. Over time the motor has gotten measurably louder. Now, when it kicks on, it sounds like a garbage disposal. I've turned it off and am looking to replace it as soon as possible. I cannot recommend this unit.

We ordered and installed this wine chiller six months ago and we are greatly enjoying it. My only wish is that there was a way to lock the controls. They are so sensitive, that any random touch can change the settings, and even turn the unit off. Other than that, it is a great little built in unit.

If you're reading this review than the side flanges of your tray have cracked due to the weak plastic tab they made it from, so your tray isn't supported in the fridge anymore. This replacement is just like they say, a perfect fit and stronger than the original. Its what they should have used in the first place!

First, unfortunately the first refrigerator came damaged not evVive's fault, but the delivery company. However, evVive QUICKLY replaced the first refrigerator, and the second one had not a scratch on it. That was easily done.

We have only been using the refrigerator for 2 weeks, however, we can actually see a difference on our electric usage. It is absolutely as energy efficient as they say. If you are off the grid with alternative energy (we have solar), the nice thing about this is there is no super high drain with the compressor comes on whatever they've done with the new compressor, it actually ramps up slowly. This is a must for off-the-grid energy systems, but a plus even if you're on the grid (your electric company would do well for EVERYONE to have a refrigerator like this).

This is almost as energy efficient as the refrigerators that are built for off the grid homes but it was less than half the price of those others. For the dollar, this is really the best deal going.

Yes, this review was focused for solar/wind homes, but EVERYTHING applies even if you're on the grid. In addition to the energy efficiency, we have already gotten use to the french door style of refigerator (we had a side-by-side); the inside is roomy, well enough laid out. The freezer took a little getting used to.

Unfortunatly, I will say the shipping company they used was less than desirable again, not their fault, and the shipping is probably less problematic in other parts of the county (better than here in Kansas, anyway).

Hi, I did a lot of searching and reviews of products out there that could replace this drawer in my refrigerator. After deciding to take a chance on this drawer, I found it to be a perfect replacement for 2188661 which had originally broke into pieces. I love this drawer because it looks, fits, and works great! I also love it because I saved over $50 compared to the original product (save about $100 from what the manufacturer sells for on their parts replacement site).

I got a crack in my crisper drawer for my ED2FHEXVS01 side by side whirlpool fridge and had trouble finding the replacement part which according to the parts manual was the 2188652 Crisper Pan and took a chance and got this one.

This drawer fit my Whirlpool ED5KVEXVQ00 refrigerator perfectly despite that fact that it wasn't listed on the Amazon entry page. It is actually an improvement over the original drawer in that this product has humidity control. This is no knock-off; the crisper pan (as it is officially called) is a Whirlpool factory certified part. If you're new to this experience, first get the appliance number to your frig: it's located inside the unit on a metal tag. Second, go to partselect dot com and enter the number. It will show the specs to every part in your refrigerator. Find the PartSelect Number to the drawer but don't get it through that site as you'll pay double. Finally, search Amazon for the PartSelect Number. While the search may or may not take you to this item, I'm under the impression that these crispers are pretty universal as this one works in refrigerators made by a dozen manufacturers. If you have to take a leap of faith, the odds are in your favor. Considering the discounted price and ease of the overall experience, I can't believe that I waited so long!
