Replacement Evaporator Motor for Whirlpool, Sears, Kenmore W10189703

This item was purchased as an OEM part for the evaporator fan for an Amana series side-by-side refrigerator. It easily fit the space required for the fan except the ends penetrating the rubber mounting bushings were almost too large to fit into the mounting bracket hole. The grounding lug was located on the far left rather than on the right as shown in the photo in Amazon. The grounding cable removed from the older fan this was replacing was too short to reach the new lug. I reused the existing grounding lug that I removed from the old fan motor and mounted it under the right motor screw. After I mounted the fan onto the bracket, I found that the rotating shaft on which the fan is friction-fitted was too small for the fan blades that I was reinstalling on the assembly. I obtained a second fan motor that was identically labeled as the first and, lo, the shaft was the right size. So, be prepared to check the shaft on the new motor to see if it fits to the old ban blades before you install it into the bracket. If it doesn't, request a refund. You may be lucky the first time but I was not. The Amazon.com price was less than half that for a skimpier replacement fan motor that I could have purchased locall. With Amazon prime I was only delayed a couple days, but I did use the premium overnight delivery option at $3.99. After the delays and disappointments, my refrigerator is running well again. And that's what it's all about!

Not much to say except for it worked like it was supposed to with no problems and no hassles fitting it in. To me, that gives it a 4 star rating.

I'm only mildly handy around the house, but small projects I can manage. I found this motor by checking our fridge model's parts inventory, and then the internet did the rest. It's a fairly simple replacement, with the only tricky part being that the charge of the connections wasn't readily marked for me to notice, although I have a very untrained eye. Still, I was able to attach this to the mounts and connect the power on the first try. Motor has worked since, and the cost of the part was no doubt far less than a service call would have been.

Whirlpool 2206670B Overflow Grille for Refrigerator

I highly recommend this drip grille to those that have mineral build up on theirs to the point of ugly.I am really happy to have my refrigerator looking new again and recommend this original product to all.

This product is very similar to the OE tray however, it does not fit as well as the original. Specifically, it doesn't click into the locking mechanism and is very easily removed. The tolerance is off. It does work and is a lot better looking than my 5 year old OE tray.

This Grill was just like the original. The only problem with it is that it start showing hard water residue almost imediately and it is very diffiult to remove without damaging the grill.

I spent several days reviewing Fridigair and other wine centers... almost without exception they were electrostatic cooling (so there is no vibration and almost completely silent). This unit was right in with the group of them profferred by Amazon. Looking back on it, there is no detail description.. but I suppose I had looked at so many of them that I made a poor assumption. It has arrived.. and is little more than a mini-fridge like those used in College dorms.. but with a glass door and wire racks. Just as noisy... vibrations and all. I also chose this model because it advertises a built in lock. The lock is a joke. it's a thin tab.. very accessible at the bottom of the uniit.. that you can press down with your thumb and defeat. Also, the "key" for the lock is little more than an allen wrench. You could open this with a bladed screwdriver or a pocket knife without bending the tab.. or you could simply bend the tab and take what you want.. then put it back in place. It is.. at best.. good for keeping toddlers from playing with the door. Took two weeks longer than advertised to deliver.. in essence.... VERY UNSATISFIED!!!

You gotta hand it to Maytag they made replacing the water filter very simple. Took all of about 30 seconds from start to finish. And about 20 seconds of that was wiping up the water that dripped out of the old filter when I pulled it out, so the next change should go even better ;-)

We have a family of six and we drink water almost exclusively, so I went ahead and changed the filter at six months just like the owner's guide recommended. However, I could see no evidence that the filter was near its end of life and am convinced that I can get more use out of the filters than the suggested six months. I will try to keep an eye on things, but without a little window I really have no way other than flow to know what is going on.

And that is why I gave this a rating of four stars. The filter seems to work wonderfully and replacement is a breeze, but I would be happier if I could look at the state of the filter while it is in use.

My Ice Cube make was having major problems. Ice Cubes were hollow and Ice was sticking on the White Prongs that pop the cubes out. I called Amana and they were no help so I figured that the Cube maker was not getting enough water flow.

I replaced with this filter and now the Ice Cube maker is like new and the water shoots out of the dispenser like crazy. What used to take 25-30 seconds to fill a glass of water now takes 3-5 seconds.

So if you are having Ice Cube issues or poor water flow buy this.

It's a little expensive for a water filter but it's worth it.

Oh and the water tastes good too.

This is a very expensive item for what you get, and it certainly doesn't last as long as they say it does. The taste of your water coming through this filter is great for the first month or so, but then the quality drops noticeably quick.

I think the price of this item is unfairly high, but once you buy a refrigerator that needs them, you're stuck. You either buy the filter or put up with nasty tasting water from your refrigerator spigot.

A good rule of thumb, if you're buying one filter, better buy two, because you'll need a new one quicker than you think.

I ordered this product early in the season as a christmas gift. I received confirmation of my order, and then I also received confirmation that the product had shipped. Imagine my surprise when at least a week later I received a message from the manufacturer telling me that they'd had a problem, and that the product hadn't shipped after all, and that it wouldn't be available until 12/26. Obviously that wouldn't work as a cmas gift. I cancelled my order. It took quite some time to get confirmation of my cancellation, and then even longer for Amazon to notify me that my acct had been credited. I was stunned to hear that I'd been charged at all for something that had never even been shipped to me. I'm a big fan of Amazon, but I've learned to limit my shopping to those things that Amazon ships directly. I've had bad experiences every other time. Complete garbage, as are most Frigidaire appliances these days. Compressor died two years after purchase. I will not ever buy any more Frigidaire appliances. I had one dishwasher by them replaced three times under warranty and after it died the 4th time, I bought another brand. It is 8 years old and runs like a champ.

The compressor failed after just 18 months. Apparently, these items used to have 10-year warranties with this Fridgidaire but now it's only a year. Now I need a new 'fridge.

It works as a fridge, but has some design choices that really irritate. The small drawer doesn't come out very far, and there's no way to remove it for cleaning. I live in a slightly off kilter Victorian, and I've always used after-market rollers adjustable for height. But for some reason, Frigidaire decided to use a smaller threading for the leveling feet than every other appliance on the market. So I'm stuck with a choice between an immovable but level fridge or one I can move for cleaning on the built in rollers, but with the door swinging open wildly because it's so far off level.

My crisper drawer broke to pieces after 3 1/2 years. I ordered a replacement and it looks to be the same flimsy plastic. I hate to only give this seller two stars because the seller is in no way at fault. The seller gets five stars the product only two.

This is a replacement for a cripser drawer that the rails broke off of. It fits fine and looks almost exactly the same as the original except for it is missing the white strip across the front-no big to deal to me.

This is a good wine cooler for my needs. It is very quiet and looks very nice. My initial impression is that some of my longer wine bottles may not be able to fit, but I was able to close the door without being blocked by those longer bottles. The cooler only goes down to 46 degrees, which may be a problem for a lot of white wine drinkers who prefer their wine as cold as possible.

The one major drawback is customer service. It has a temp control and I like to keep my reds @ 54 degrees. It will not hold that temp. I called Akdy to find out how to set the the temp. A man answered with an Asian accent, so thick i could not understand him, and after 15 minutes I finally hung up in frustration. Never did get it set the way I wanted.I am going to call Amazon and ask for their help. The refer is very nice looking and will hold 32 regular sized bottles. but temp control is lacking.

The product I received was used, like it came out of another unit..That didn't bother me though..What did bother me was that when I installed the board the clock didn't light up, so therefore the board couldn't be left in customers stove..After installing the board and seeing that it was defective I decided to go back and purchase the board through one of my parts people. The part was installed and stove worked but at an inconvenience to the customer and me.. On average I order $4,000 a month on parts and I know how to install these things. Thought I would give you guys a shot, my first order through you guys I lost a customer,looked incompetent, had to have customer wait another 3 days for the part, and I had to pay twice for the same part..How do you think I feel?
