I bought this as a replacement for a 4.4 cubic ft Frigidaire that stopped working after 3 years. This mini fridge is a lot smaller at 3.3 cu ft and looks funny with all the space around it as part of my wet bar, but has the recommended clearance. The fridge is ok, but there are some key things that I don't like that lowers my rating: 1. all the racks are the coated wire racks (glass is so much nicer)2. there is no light when you open the door. 3. it is louder and runs more than the one it replaced. 4. the freezer door is a cheap plastic flip up, not a separate sealed freezer area. On the positive side: Looks wise, it is a very bright stainless look (which I like) and so far has cooled my beverages to my desired temp (very cold but not freezing). I guess I would rate it a 4 if it last 5 plus years but will have to wait and see!Read Best Reviews of SPT RF-330SS: 3.3 cu.ft. Compact Refrigerator (Stainless VCM) Here

Flexible Crevice Tool for all Vacuum Hoses
- 24" Long
- Flexible, bends up to 180 degrees
- Allows cleaning in hard to reach areas
- Great for dryer vents, heating ducts, along side the refrigerator
- Fits all vacuums accepting 1 1/4" inner diameter attachments
This will cause your motors to overwork and fail prematurely. When you vacuum, it's like you're trying to vacuum with a sock stuffed in the hoses. I'm using that example so show how much less air will move through it. Moreover, you'll hear your motor scream. The inlet needs to be designed so that its opening is larger to prevent overly restrictive airflow.
You are warned.
Buy Flexible Crevice Tool for all Vacuum Hoses Now
While its not the most ergonomic device, the tool does allow you to get into areas a normal crevice tool will not. Great while it lasted. It is a 2 piece construction, consisting of a hard plastic vacuum hose connector and a flexible extension. Unfortunately, the hard plastic piece gets stressed when you bend the flexible portion. The end of the hard plastic connector that connects to the flexible extension broke off after less than 2 months of normal use.Read Best Reviews of Flexible Crevice Tool for all Vacuum Hoses Here
The Item description says "Flexible Crevice tool for ALL vacuum hoses" not true it was too small to fit my vacuum. Come to find out it is a "1.25" I assume that is 1.25" diameter measurement. This item probably works fine but I will never know because it is not for "ALL" vacuums. Check your hose diameter before buying. The only caution is to measure your current hose to see if this tool will fit as it is very small. It did not fit my Miele vacuum, but fit my Shop-Vac. It does work well. Because the crevice tool is a firm but flexible plastic, it does not collapse with suction as I read happens with other similar devices. I was able to maneuver it into the lint trap and suction out the lint. Sometimes I had to bend the crevice tool into sort of a J-shape near the end so it would reach awkward areas, and it would hold that shape long enough so I could clean an area. Since I don't anticipate using this more than every few months, the bother of bringing the Shop-Vac into the house and fussing with the dryer lint cleaning is acceptable. Every dryer has a different lint trap configuration, so there is probably no "one size fits all" when it comes to a dryer cleaning extension. This is not quite everything I would like it to be, but it is good enough to give it 4 stars. Just be sure to measure well before you order.Does not fit Miele canister vacuum. However I was able to use it for what I needed.Tuesday, October 8, 2013
Frigidaire : IM115 Ice Maker Kit
I recommend you buy the kit instead of the ice maker alone. The pump/acuator and new tubing. Make my old icemaker a new one. Performance is alot better than the old one.

This was an install on a fridge that did not have an ice maker when originally purchased. The directions were good but good have been more detailed on the water delivery tube, it needs to be inserted 90 degrees counter clockwise and then turned clock-wise to be locked into position.Read Best Reviews of Frigidaire : IM115 Ice Maker Kit Here
For the most part I am really happy with this product. The installation was really easy, until I got to the point of installing the "leveling bracket". When I attempted to install the leveling bracket I found that there was no screw hole on the on the bottom of the icemaker to accommodate the bracket. (This is where I become disgruntled with the seller of this product.) I contacted the seller for technical support and was told by their customer service that they only sell the product, they don't offer any technical support and I needed to contact Frigidaire or hire a professional to complete the installation. Not good customer service in my opinion.I went on to complete the installation and put a piece of Styrofoam between the icemaker housing and the freezer wall to "level" out the icemaker. The icemaker is in and works really well. The price is good compared to other sellers and as an after-market install its really easy to do .

When will I ever learn? I ordered this online direct from Frigidaire a/k/a Electrolux on their web site. Cost more and delivery was slow. When it arrived one of the 2 items I ordered (the water line installation kit) was missing entirely. After much time on hold and transferring around, I finally spoke to a customer service person who said it would be refunded to my charge card. It was not. Furthermore, the unit they did send (this icemaker) did not work, and did not include the right parts for my refrigerator. Three weeks AFTER I disputed the charge, the second item was received in the mail -long after I had already purchased it locally. And, to compound the incompetence, they sent me the WRONG item in that delivery.Close to the worst customer service ever. I will never again purchase from Electrolux directly.
Now to Amazon. As usual, terrific service. Got the correct part very quickly and at a better price. Very easy to install, and works like a charm. Need to remember to shop Amazon first every time.
I'll close with a plug for PayPal. I paid Electrolux with their service. Although it is slow, their dispute resolution process works, and I received a full refund, including all shipping costs.

SPT Thermo-Electric Wine Cooler with Heating, 8 Bottles
- 8 standard bottles/23-liter capacity
- Digital controls with led temperature display
- Environment friendly (refrigerant free)
- No vibration (bottle sediment is not disturbed)
- Adjustable temperature range: 51 - 64-degree f
- 8 standard bottles / 23L capacity
- Adjustable temperature range: 51 ~ 64F
We purchased this wine cooler for white wine. From day one, this unit has never gotten colder than 57 degrees F despite how cold you set the temp. Typically, it ranges between 59 and 60 degrees F.
In our emails with Sunpentown, we were asked questions such as "what temperature is the house set at?" and "How much space is around the unit?". Are you kidding me? What temperature is our home? Did we buy a wine cooler or merely a metal box with a handle to store our wine in? Our home is a cool 76 degrees in the summer. This should not affect the function of the cooler.
In the item description of this unit, it is called 'compact' for 'counter top use'. Why would we buy a compact unit that cannot be placed in a compact space? The representative pointed to the word 'freestanding' in the manufacturers description, which is NOT mentioned in their Amazon listing. He defined it as 'the unit sitting by itself with nothing around it." Oxford Dictionary defines it as 'not relying on or linked to anything else.' As in, not mounted or attached to anything. So Sunpentown is creating their own definitions for words that didn't even appear in the item description. For testing purposes we have the unit 'freestanding' with 36" on either side, 8" in the back and 12" on top. It is still 60 degrees!!
I suppose the real problem is the technology, though they're not admitting it. It's thermo-electric, so there is no compressor. Having said that, I'm going to take a wild guess that it probably warms red wine just fine. But that's not why we bought it!
This has been our worst Amazon purchase experience. We have gotten nowhere with Sunpentown, and after the email shenanigans with them we are outside the 30-day return period with Amazon for this obviously defective item.

I bought this cooler because it fits in a cabinet in my living room. I was worried that it had few reviews, but took the chance, because of its size and price figured I couldn't go wrong. To my surprise, it works very well. It's quiet and keeps it temperature well, and its appearance is very clean, so it would go well with many decors.I might just buy a second I think I can manage to fill it, too.

Stay far, far away from anything manufactured or "serviced" by Sunpentown. After five months of owning this piece of garbage, it just stopped working. Just went dead, for no apparent reason. Rather than honoring their warranty and sending me a replacement, they made me SEND THE UNIT back to them, at a whopping price of almost $40 in postage. (Looking back, I was a complete fool for falling for this.) Then they alerted me that the unit had arrived "damaged" but out of the goodness of their hearts they were willing to send me a RECONDITIONED unit for $70. How long do you think the reconditioned unit would have lasted if a NEW one lasted only five months?
I'm now on a one-man crusade to make sure nobody else makes the mistake of buying these terrible products. They're garbage and the company that sells them is unethical. They dealt with me in very bad faith. Do yourself a favor and look for something more solid, with better craftsmanship and most importantly, a company that STANDS BY ITS PRODUCTS AND ISN'T DEVOTED TO RIPPING OFF CONSUMERS.

LG Lrg30355st 5.0 Cu. Ft. Gas Range With 5 Burners Warming Drawer Smoothtouch Controls Stainless St
- 5.0 cu.ft. Capacity
- 5 Sealed Gas Cooktop Burners
- Electronic Ignition System
- Available in Premium Stainless Steel finish
- SmoothTouch Controls
LG delivered the wrong range we got the LRG30355ST instead, but we were able to keep it for a couple of weeks while they shipped out the correct range. The 303 we ordered came in black, and looked great. Stainless is very sturdy and professional looking, but is really hard to keep clean scratches easily, and fingerprints look terrible. I do a lot of cooking, so black was much easier to keep looking good.
The 303 does not come with convection, regardless of what the other reviewer said--it also does not have the temperature probe, and the grates are a different finish. Other than that, the two models are very similar, and frankly, unless you are going to rely heavily on your convection, I'd recommend the 303 over the 308. Both are attractive ranges, have great build quality, the front knobs and surfaces stay cool (even the window) for curious kids, (all ranges these days have the anti-tip device, so that's not an issue) and for the extra money, you could go pretty far towards buying a hood.
Both have a nice, big, insulated view window, and a bright, well-placed light.
Both have a very accurate temp control.
Both have a large capacity oven, and cook quite evenly (even the non-convection). Convection is great for cooking a lot of food at once, so the efficiency is wonderful. It is not "true" or "European" convection on the 308, though--basically, the fan just blows the hot air around, eliminating hot spots in the oven. True convection has a heating element in the actual fan, so it blasts the food with superheated air, giving you very fast and efficient searing. Maybe the LG electric range has it dunno. Convection on the 308 gas range works fine though. I baked several racks of cookies at once as a test, and they all came out great without needing to be turned. One thing I did notice is that while very crisp, convection does not brown as well as non-convection, so that's something I'll have to adjust to. Fortunately both LG ranges have great broilers (2 heat settings).
One safety issue regarding the 303 though the grates are enameled cast iron, so pans tend to slide really easily on them. So if you catch a pot handle on your clothing walking by, it could slip.
Both ranges have five burners, and the big one has "Super Boil," ( I think it's 16K BTUs max) meaning you can crank a massive amount of gas through it for boiling water quickly. It's also a Super Wide burner though, so unless you have a 12" or wider pot, all that heat is going to go around, not under, what you're trying to heat. The small burners (2 of them) are great for stocks, melting, and other very low heat applications.
Cooktop space, though, can be an issue. Bad enough trying to fit five big pots side-by-side on the cook top, (though it's actually pretty good for a 30" range), but there is also a guard lip that protrudes from beneath the panel. This protects the electronics in the back panel, but it also sticks out far enough so that any pan higher than a can iron skillet will not fit over the two back burners properly. High-sided saucepots have to stay forward, which is fine, since the two front burners are the largest anyway, but something to consider for big dinners.
Finally, both ranges have issues with the electronics panel. It's very slick, brightly lit, easy to use and clean, and the beeps are not annoying (and you can program them to go away, to a certain extent), but if you live in an area with a lot of electrical surges, lightning, blackouts, whatever, these panels are prone to getting zapped. No room to put an Uninterrupted Power Supply back there for backup, so if you zap it, it's done. May not be an issue for you, but living near Boulder, Colorado, it was worth it for me to get to get the 4-yr warranty.
In summary:
Pros: Great performing and looking range; fit and finish, appearance, safety, noise, reliability were all outstanding. I'll take this LG over Dacor, Wolf, KitchenAid, DCS, or any of the other high-end ranges available. Having cooked on both, I probably would have gotten the 303 over the 308. I can live without the convection and the temp probe, and I don't think the 308 comes in black, so now I have to spend more time cleaning the stainless parts. But the bare cast iron grates are great.
Cons: The 303 has slippery grates, either model has cooktop space limited by the heat guard, and panel electronics are susceptible to power surges or lightning strikes, if that's an issue in your area. The LG kitchen series is just plain beautiful. The oven works great and is also used as a convection oven. The timer can be used with or with out the use of the stove top or oven. We purchased this with the matching microwave and have been enjoying cooking again. The grates on the hob are continuous so pots can be moved without lifting. This is very handy with cast iron cookware. If you are looking for a range that will knock you socks off, this is it.
