Swift Green Filters SGF-M9-2 Refrigerator Water Filter, 2-Pack

I have a Maytag fridge and Swift claims that these filters are compatible with the factory version. I followed all instructions to the letter, but when after installing the filters, the following happened:

1) There was a horrendous noise that came from the fridge air line and no water came out

2) I was told by Swift that I had installed them incorrectly & needed to make an additional twist to the right, this was not true, they were installed correctly & turned all the way already.

3) After I removed the filters to test my factory ones again, there was extreme leakage from the nozzles in the fridge. Meaning, when I took the Swift filters out, the nozzles should automatically seal while you change filters, but this did not happen, they were stuckopen. The Swift filters had caused the nozzle to stick/malfunction because of incorrect fit.

4) After reinstalling my factory filters and finally getting the leakage to stop, my dispenser does not work correctly anymore. The water comes out in a trickle, so slowly as to be unuseable, either with the Swift filters or the old ones. The only conclusion to be drawn is that the Swift filter has permanently damaged the nozzles.

5) Swift has not offered anything since I informed them of this fact, replacement, nozzle repair, nothing.

I strongly advise against purchasing these filters based on my experience.

its a key, arrived in less then a week, which was great considering we have a locked freezer we needed to get into. Its not the right key for us though, could've used a better picture of the key, maybe of the part that matters? A picture of the tip of the key would've been great.

American Retro AR-15002 Classic Coca-Cola Refrigerated Machine

I bought this Coke machine from Amazon, and I had some reservations about buying it from the other review posted. First of all, if you are a Coca-Cola drinker, or like soda in general, you should get this. This thing looks great and has a great vintage look. Westinghouse actually made these machines in the '30s and '40s, and according to the manual, this machine was built to the exact specs of that machine. The manual says that the parts in this machine, and the old Westinghouse Junior machines are interchangable, which I thought was cool. I bought some Coke in glass bottles at my local Weis grocery store, and put them in, and they got ice cold in just a few hours. This thing looks like something Rick Dale restored. It has an adjustable thermostat, and is built like a tank. I was worried about it arriving with scratches and dents all over it, seeing as how UPS and FedEx practice their soccer skills on our packages, but luckily it arrived in great shape. The other reviewer said that the lid doesn't shut all the way. I think he got a bad one, because mine shuts fine. Also, when the compressor kicks on, it's not that loud. It's no louder than a fan.

Anyway, I would definately recommend buying this. Coca-Cola is timeless. I just wish they made Coke in glass bottles on a grander scale in the US and made it more readily available in grocery stores. The machine looks and functions great. You'll love it!

I love this! I purchased this retro coke frig on Amazon.com and got it within the week. UPS wasn't gentle with it, so it left a tiny bump near the bottom but that was something that I was okay with and I will tell you why. The machine is amazing! Yes, it makes a small amount of noise when it is cooling but when the drinks are at the ice cold temp they need to be, the unit stops chilling until the temp drops again. Then it goes back on. I've had it for several weeks now and the machine works beautifully! The door closes tight and it's all in perfect working condition. I would buy it again!

The soda we get out of the machine is ice cold and ready to drink. My 17 year old son loves it! We love especially buying glass bottles for this unit as we can find them in the local grocery stores. I see the parts are interchangeable with the original unit this was modelled form. This retro model arrived to us new, a remake of an original unit. That means, we didn't have problems of rust or anything like that.

This machine has inspired me to turn our entire dining room into a retro coke look. Am I glad I purchased it? Yes! My husband is not a retro buff and says "there's the frig!" No thanks. When I reach in to get myself a diet coke in a glass bottle, my memories go back to being 6 and my dad letting me reach into the machine and so I could pick the ice cold soda pop I wanted.

The machine looks fantastic. Beautiful paint job and all of the wording is raised and painted. My biggest problem is that is seems to run all the time, which means it is not well insulated or the compressor is crummy. I get a lot of condesation around the top also.

The ice maker leaks which results in freezing a thin piece of ice that clogs the dispenser.

The french doors didnt quite seem to be fitting right either.

Luckily I had a repairman come and fix it, so problem solved.

Its just that when you spend this kind of money you expect the item to work entirely.

One of my friends has the same fridge but has never encountered any issues, so I suppose its just a matter of chance.

Freezer is great for frozen veggie and prepared food packs as well as those bags of frozen breads and rolls and stir-fry, etc., that take up so much space or that slide around when a freezer door is opened and you search for something.

Our older house has limited refrigerator space in the kitchen (unless we rip out some overhead cabinets). When we replaced an old fridge around May 1st, we decided to buy a "supplemental" freezer. After reading multiple reviews on multiple sites, we settled on this freezer. It was small enough and "light" enough for me to muscle it into the basement. It did take several hours to cool down after plugging it in (just like the instruction manual said it would), but we've been using it since May 1st and have had no problems. Because some reviewers of this size freezer (but not this brand) had problems with things staying cold, especially with frequent opening, we keep a pint-sized plastic bowl filled with ice cubes toward the front. So far, the cubes haven't melted noticeably. They serve as a warning system plus give me some cubes in the basement when I'm working down there so they get replaced periodically.

Noisy little freezer. Found one mounting bolt for the compressor missing, one not tighned down. Manual incorrect with settings of temps. This freezer runs almost constantly. Temp inside rises quickly when power is off. I question the amount of insulation used.

I purchased a pack of these filters for my refrigerator. Upon arrival I followed the enclosed instruction and both of the filters leaked after installation (the original one never leaked at all, even after I reinstalled it). I contacted the seller and was informed that I should return them for a full refund, including return shipping. I returned the filters and wasn't refunded fully on the return shipping. The excuse was that Amazon would only allow a $9.00 refund even though it cost me $12.80 to return them. Bottom line is that the filters are of a defective design (the connections are poorly made) and I am still out $3.80 with nothing but aggravation to show for my original purchase. I don't recommend that you purchase these filters.

SAMSUNG DA97-02203G ASSEMBLY ICE MAKER-MECH OEM Original Part

I ordered this part to replace the ice-maker in my Samsung RS2530BBP refrigerator. The original ice-maker wouldn't drop the ice after freezing. It appeared to have a bad thermistor in the tray which wouldn't detect that the ice had frozen. The thermistor is apparently not available for purchase as a separate part. The new assembly shipped quickly, but I discovered the plastic housing assembly was wrong. The mounting points on the new part were "stepped" one one side where my original housing was flat. I was able to take the "guts" out of the new part and re-use my original plastic housing. Everything worked, but switching out the housing shouldn't have been necessary (hence the 4-star rating).
