Door Bar, White, 21-5/8" for, Maytag, Magic Chef, Admiral, 61001964

Door Bar, White, 21-5/8' for, Maytag, Magic Chef, Admiral, 61001964This works for a door replacement and was cut to fit our door fine. The metal is thin and there was a ding from the trip to us, not enough to complain or replace though. Happy to have the replacement part at a more reasonable price than other vendors.

Meridian

MeridianThis product does not meet my expectations. First, it was delivered with a broken lock. I called customer service right away and they kept me on hold for 20 minutes and then told me they would call me back in two business days. Second, the wine refrigerator is very loud and sounds like an inexpensive fan. Third, the refrigerator is not cooling properly. Finally, I paid close to $1,000 for this piece about a month ago and they promised "white glove" delivery. Upon arrival the delivery people showed me the invoice, which reflected "bronze delivery," and they would not deliver it inside my house.

SquareTrade 4-Year Appliance Protection Plan ($250-300)

SquareTrade 4-Year Appliance Protection PlanSquare Trade has handled my two claims in a fair and expeditious manner each time. Their claims representatives are knowledgeable, pleasant and professional. Could not ask for a better warranty product!

Square Trade offers a really great service with their protection plan. I bought an item that stopped working within a few weeks of purchase. The Customer Service representative made the return simple, fast and he couldn't have been more friendly or concerned about me being satisfied as their customer. The plan definitely paid itself off. I highly recommend purchasing this plan on any electronics, big or small because you just never know.

I've purchased several warranties with Squaretrade over the past couple of years. To be honest, I bought them with the thought that I'm most likely wasting my money because I'm sure this stuff isn't going to break during the coverage period. I was wrong. My new washing machine literally came apart during a spin cycle after less than two years and was beyond repair. When I called the claim in the service was pleasant and hassle-free. Within a week I had a check for the full coverage amount. I am very thankful that I am not out $700 for a new unit and will definitely be getting another Squaretrade warranty when I get my new machine.

I've purchased five different warrantees from SquareTrade in the past six years.

Just last month two covered items broke. Our Samsung tablet slide out of it's case and landed on the floor. The glass was shattered. The tablet was only 5 months old. I filed my claim online on a Wednesday. SquareTrade emailed me a UPS paid label, which I affixed to my package and dropped off at my local USP store on Thursday. I was fully expecting to go shopping for a new tablet over the weekend. I received an email on Friday that they had received my package and that they would contact me asap. On the following Monday they sent an email letting me know that the tablet was repaired and on it's way back to me. I received it the next day, Tuesday. Just like new.

The day prior to dropping the tablet, our Whirlpool washer wouldn't spin. I had purchased 5-year coverage from SquareTrade, thinking that with all the computers in everything nowadays, the extra $160 was well worth the cost (and about the same as to what the retail store was offering in price). The machine was 14 months old (two months out of manufacture's warrantee). I filed a claim online and within 24 hours a response came indicating that SquareTrade was looking for a local repair shop. We have three kids 6 years-old and younger and without a working washing machine, the dirty clothes plie up really fast. I decided to call a local Whirlpool authorized repair shop that came out the next morning. He determined that the motor was shot and the replacement cost was more than 50% the cost of the washer (not to mention that it was a two week wait for a new motor!).

I called SquareTrade by 9:30am ET and spoke with a very nice lady. She apologized that I had to pay the repair guy to come out as that is something they do directly. She said SquareTrade would cover that cost for me. She asked me to take a picture of the repair invoice with my phone and email to her, which I did promptly. One hour later she called me back and told me that her adjuster would look at my situation the same day. Before the end of the day she called me again and said that SquareTrade was going to cover the original cost of the machine (plus the $75 repair bill). Two business days later my PayPal account was credited with the entire amount (and a check was sent to me for the $75). It was nice that the same SquareTrade rep called me each time!

The moment that she told me they would honor the warrantee in full, I went to the retailer and bought the same machine (I know, but the repair guy said he has never seen a motor blow in my model of Whirlpool before). I asked the retailer about their extended warrantee, which was 5-years and $80. The process of working thru a claim did not sound as smooth as what I just went thru with SquareTrade. I declined the extra warrantee. I took the machine home, promptly installed it and commenced washing 12 loads. The following day a SquareTrade email arrived with their famous 30% off coupon, and I bought another 5-year warrantee for $109.

SquareTrade has a customer for life. (do you offer coverage for cars yet?)

I have purchased extended warranty on a toaster with egg poacher, after a year the panel went out. Square Trade paid with 5% bonus on an Amazon gift card. I have purchased a second toaster and obtained extended warranty from Square Trade.

Luma Comfort EC220W High Power 1650 CFM Evaporative Cooler with 650 Square Foot Cooling

Luma Comfort EC220W High Power 1650 CFM Evaporative Cooler with 650 Square Foot CoolingBought this cooler for our barn, which is, of course, much bigger than the 600 square foot area this cooler is supposed to cover, but it made a huge difference when we had many, many 90 degree days this summer. The cooler not only cooled but provided some much needed moisture in a very dry environment (Colorado) and with a few additional fans to circulate the cool moist air from this Luma Evaporative Cooler, it was a very satisfying investment!

Thank you Amazon.com

No pun intended...

The Good:

This unit is pretty powerful, and cools my workshop down easily. The space is about 700 sqft, so I guess a little larger than they recommend for this unit, but it works great.

The combination of a big water tank with a direct water hookup is a great feature, especially since the slot you fill is a bit small for a unit this size.

It's durable we banged it around pretty good the first week, not on purpose.... It held up like a champ though, and other than a few dings here and there, you wouldn't even know it.

The bad:

The water input slot is a bit small for a unit this size, but the direct water hookup makes up for it.

The wheels get stuck once in a while, but that might be more due to the dirt and crud on the floor. It's pretty light too, not sure if that has something to do with it.

It's an evaporative cooler, so while it works great in my AZ garage/workshop, I can't bring it with me to Chicago it's useless there with the high humidity level.

Overall:

This is a great unit, and even after shipping it ended up being less expensive than some of the PAC units I was looking at for the area. I wish the water opening on the back was a bit bigger, but that's really just nitpicking at this point.

we have a home bakery business and live in northern ca. a/c doesn't work as there is no humiditiy to speak of in the summer. when we bake and it's 90+ degrees outside, it's the only way to keep us and the house cool

Got this to help cool my house so I can save money instead of using my central air. It works great! We're getting close to 100 degree days and it's keeping my house at or below 80 with just plain water and the pads it came with. I plan to take another reviewer's suggestion and buy the other pads to see if that keeps things even cooler. I have a 1700 sq ft house. It's in my living room. I have my dining room sliding glass door open and the window right behind the cooler open, and it controls the humidity well. I keep my hallway doors closed and have a fan blowing the cool air down the hall toward my bedroom. Yes, it can be a pain to fill up manually, but I just bring my hose in through my sliding glass door and fill it that way. It only takes a minute or two. So glad I got this!

This is my first swamp cooler. A neighbor lent me an older Bonair which did not cool as much as this unit (panel to small). I chose this model because of its capacity to cool up to 650 sq. feet. A swamp cooler is only as effective as the size of the panels and yet sellers don't mention it which is odd. I've been using it for 10 days:

Pros: large water tank, the back panel is 19x16" and the 2 side panels are 8x23", it cools enough to make it pleasant, there is no smell; the noise level is acceptable to me.

Cons: the wheels don't move well, water/ice inlet is too small it can only hold about 8 ice cubes, too expensive for what it is; there is no remote control or pump shut off if the water gets too low. It comes with one small hose adapter that attaches to the back.

I live in the Mojave and it's around 100F now and that also means that our city water is lukewarm. I bought a 2 gallon watering can and add ice and water before I fill up the tank and I add extra ice to the water inlet. The more ice the colder the air. Not for the lazy but better for the environment and the wallet. I gave it 4 stars because it does cool and because of the large holding tank and panels.

32 Bottle Dual Temperature Zone Wine Cooler

32 Bottle Dual Temperature Zone Wine Cooler
  • Capacity: 32 wine bottles, Right Zone Capacity: 16 bottles, Left Zone Capacity: 16 bottles
  • Vibration-free thermoelectric cooling, Stainless steel trimmed glass door with sleek black cabinet
  • Dual zones for storing different wine varietals, Adjustable thermostat for both zones (46F - 66F), Net weight: 70 lbs
  • Voltage: 115V /60Hz, Power: 210 watts / 3.0 Amps, ETL certified
  • Product dimensions: 20.67"W x 20.8"D (21.7 with handle bar installed) x 32.5"H

One good looking wine chiller. Absolutely love the steel capped racking. It can store up to 32 bottles evenly with 16 bottles in the right zone and 16 bottles in the left zone. This is a compressor free vibration-free thermoelectric powered cooling type unit. My personal preference given the absence of vibration which can wreak havoc on older wines with softer corks. It also minimizes the drying effect of compressor coolers. The shelves can be taken out so I can put in bottles of varying sizes, but it still looks the best with all the racks installed.

Solidly-built and beautifully designed, I'm surprised it doesn't retail for twice the price. That's why I love shopping on here! It keep temps very accurately and the dual-zones are a real must especially when the hubby likes sangioveses to my reislings.

It's a good size chiller for most needs and complements a contemporary setting perfectly. Thanks Amazon!

Whynter WC-321DD 32 Bottle Dual Temperature Zone Wine Cooler, Stainless Steel Trimmed Glass Door with Black Cabinet

I desperately wanted a dual-zone that would fit under the breakfast counter. I didn't need a built-in so this Whynter wine chiller was almost exactly what I had in mind. I'm smitten by the looks/pricing of this unit. Very cool. Nicely double packed for shipping and arrived quickly too.

I had a power outage and didn't realize the temperatures default back to the factory setting, I thought it was faulty but customer service did a great job explaining this to me. It's definitely a keeper.

Whynter WC-321DD 32 Bottle Dual Temperature Zone Wine Cooler, Stainless Steel Trimmed Glass Door with Black Cabinet

This 32 bottle wine cooler looks amazing. When it is completely filled, it just looks impressive and very swanky. Luxurious is probably the first word that I would use to describe this Whynter wine cooler.

The dual-zones are exactly what I was looking for to store white and red wines. 32 bottles are for standard bottles, if you need to fit large champagnes bottles, you will obviously need to remove a shelf or two as required. Not sure what the buzz is over thermoelectric units.

After a couple of weeks of use I can't tell if it's any better than your compressor based. Either way it's proven to be good buy. It's currently used as a free-standing unit right in the dining room.

This wine cooler is the best period. My family was in the bar and restaurant business for 75 years. I know coolers large and small. All I can say is , you get what you pay for. Temp. it keeps it within acceptable parameters.. Noise level, unless you are standing next to it with no noise at all. Purrs like a cat. Got TV on or bunch of friends over you can't hear anything. As for capacity. 32 regular wine bottles yes. As for me, left side I took out 3 shelves for large bottles and white wine . Whites are always just a little longer if you don't drink it all you must stand up. Right side, took out 2 shelves. Prefer reds most of the time, except for sea food. Dual temp. forget it. 55 degs both sides. I am not a wine coinsure. If you like a white with a steak go for it. I have tasted a 500.00 bottle of wine and it sucked. Whites and reds taste the same to me at 55. One rule keep your paws of the glass, hold the stem.

this is a good product except for one flaw, it is too shallow to accept some of our wine bottles. we had to remove the bottom sliding shelf and stack the lager bottles on the floor of the cooler. had we know this we wouldn't have bought it. we will be returning it to the store.

SwiftGreen Replacement for UKF8001 Refrigerator Filter, 2-Pack

SwiftGreen Replacement for UKF8001 Refrigerator Filter, 2-PackCheaper than anything available at the big box stores, and it is true that they DO make the water taste better than traditional carbon filters. I was skeptical at first, but now that I have used them I am a believer and will be purchasing again.

A great deal on a must have filter for clean, good tasting water from our fridge. I will buy more.

Pros: Price, ease of install, water quality and taste.

Cons: Can't think of one other then it took 12 days to recieve filters, which isn't really a long time.

I will purchase these again, I will order again when I intall the next one, so that I have them on hand.

I did not experience any of the issues that other folks seemed to mention, no white water, no grains in water or ice.

It was easy as pie to intall in my Maytag refrigerator! Buy these filters you won't be disappointed.

These fit perfectly, the water tastes great, and are a bargain compared to the almost $40 retail price of the manufacturer's brand at Menards. Will definitely be ordering these again. I also told a friend about them who has the same fridge I do.

Changing the water filter is something I remember when I am getting a glass of water. I hate to admit it, but it was years since I changed it. I changed the filter because of health reasons. When I poured the water out of the old filter it was yellow. The water tastes so much better. I promise not to procrastinate about changing my filter again.

Good filter easy to install, when you do install be careful and don't loose the small clips that lock in the supply line and when you turn water on it will be black for a little while but will go away because it is a charcoal filter
