GE GXSTQ SmartWater InLine Refrigerator Replacement Filter

Excellent product that was easy to install, once I figured out how and what I needed, which segues to my only gripe -NO INSTRUCTIONS ARE INCLUDED!!!! Thank heavens for Home Depot. I took the filter to Home Depot and their helpful staff guided me to everything I needed (hose & coupling clamp kits -would have been nice if these were included). The rest was a piece of cake. The parts weren't expensive either, about $5.00.

I am horribly disappointed at the rate of flow with the first (of three) of these filters I recently installed (April 2013). The flow to my refrigerator's water outlet is less than half the rate I am accustomed to with both the OEM filter and other after-market units I have purchased over a ten year span. I will be forced to tough it out for the 6=month period I typically leave a filter installed and may or may not have an equal opinion of the second of the three I bought.

NOTE: These filter do come from China and that alone may be a key factor in the quality of the product.

This product just doesn't seem to work well. For the first month or so, it was able to get down to about 38 (the lowest setting) , but now it just keeps going all the time and doesn't get below 46. On another note, Home Depot apparently sells a unit just like this for 1/2 the price. I don't usually have buyers regret, but in this case I do.

The unit works great though it does get noisy sometime a strategically place spacer between the wall and the fridge reduces the noise. All in all the unit works as designed and looks great in my game room

We have had this fridge for about 4 years and it gets mixed reviews at our house. What is important to understand is that it is designed to have a super-low-energy consumption. It runs at the minimal level required to maintain the set temperature. If you put, for example, leftovers from dinner or a bunch of groceries into the fridge, the warmth of the food will increase the ambient temp and the "warning signal" will start beeping. To avoid the beeping you need to remember to hit the "super-cool" button to tell the fridge (or freezer) to kick into high gear.

The MAJOR problem with this design is that if you forget to hit the "super-cool" button (and you will forget) is that it takes a few HOURS for the ambient temp to rise and the warning beeps to begin. So, if you put leftovers in the fridge at 8:00 at night, the fridge will start beeping at 2:00 in the morning. ARGHHH!! This makes my husband CRAZY. I'm willing to put up with it because I really like the size and simplicity of the overall design and it's basic functionality.

Oh, another problem is the ice maker. The mechanism (housed at the top of the ice bucket) is VERY delicate and breaks easily. Don't get me started on the ice maker. It's a problem. We've had to fix it 3 times in 4 years.

This ranks as one of the worst products we've ever bought.

The finish does not clean, period. We have tried numerous stainless steel cleaners and it just never comes clean.

We contacted the distributor and he told us the finish was only partial, we were expected to finish it with the small 2 oz. bottle they supplied. What the hell is this, ridiculous.

We have owned this fridge for awhile now. The lower freezer keeps going into warning mode and does not maintain a constant temperature.

I know it is only a matter of time, very short hopefully, and it will go.

I, having talked my wife into this fridge have taken many reminders not only by looking at the bad finish but from my wife as well.

The money we spent $3,650 could have bought anyone of the major brands.

Save yourself a lot of grief and look elsewhere.

It is truly hard to believe a product of this low quality can survive the German marketplace, maybe that's why they are selling them here.

Whirlpool 8212560 Anti-Tip Side Mount Kit

I just installed a Maytag dishwasher in my new kitchen. The instructions tell you to use this bracket when installing with a granite or Corian counter top. Looking at the picture I realized they don't look alot different from the top mounting brackets. I looked at the dishwasher sides and it has the same slots as on top. I installed the top brackets in the side slots, slid the dishwasher in and drove in the screws. One bracket went beyond the cabinet and was visible on the outside. I cut it flush with the cabinet and BINGO!. Dishwasher secured. Try this before getting the brackets here. May be a waste of time and money...

Kit came as advertised. Just wished they threw these in with the rest of the dishwasher. However, these side brackets fastened easily to the cabinet sides and hold our dishwasher rock-solid in place.

Can anybody post pictures of their insalled side brackets? I JUST dont get it. I can see that you bend the back tabs to sercure to tub but then it looks like in the diagram the its bent again to go around the front of the cabinet. It doesnt say in the instructions to make that second bend.

I used an under counter adhesive bracket to secure the dishwasher to a granite countertop. The brackets came loose over a short time. These brackets should be standard in every dishwasher kit when installing with granite or other hard surface counter top. Brackets did what they should do. They prevent the dishwasher from tipping with the door open.

The mounting kit worked as well as it is supposed to but getting there was difficult. These are for cupboards that have granite countertops and mount on the side walls of the cupboard to keep the dishwasher from falling out. The diagrams were practically useless and we ended up guessing on how they should be attached. They work great but should have been included in the price of the dishwasher as so many houses now have granite or marble counters. Great shipping.

Frigidaire 240356401 Door Bin for Refrigerator

We have gone through several bins. I wish I could review the fridge-it is poorly designed. It seems like they could make bins that don't break every few months. That side-This bin fit perfectly. It was shipped VERY fast and was a reasonable price. I like this seller and I was debating buying an extra bin for when they break again (oh, you know they will!).

I order this as a replacement for my original refrig. shelf. the original was made of cheap clear plastic. This replacement shelf is a solid white color and made of better sturdy materials that will not crack as easily. This shelf works perfect however it was extremely tight and a little difficult to attach it back to the door. However once in it works perfectly. I've not had any issues since installing it. Very happy.

It fit fairly poorly and doesn't seem any worse than the original. This is just a terribly designed refrigerator. As far as replacement parts go this is acceptable. I would have liked to see it more robust.

Anybody who knows about the Culligan filter systems knows just how great they really are. The RC-EZ-3 is a great filter, removing most of the more common contaminants and chemicals from the water; resulting in nice, pure, fresh, sweet tasting drinking water and crystal clear pure ice cubes. We even use it for ALL of the water we give to our cat (family member). We wouldn't be without it (and we live beneath the poverty level, so that's just how important -and cost efficient -this water filter really is). Easy to change filter and water that tastes good are my criteria. To that I would add compact size. This filer is half the price & lasts a full season. We use either city water or water in our tanks that has been filtered and re-chlorinated for storage. [1 Tablespoon per 10 gallons.] Works well & makes great tasting coffee & tea.

These are SO easy to change I've used the EZ-3 and EZ4 I didn't really notice a difference in the taste or smell of the water between the two. What I did notice is that I'm not paying twice as much for it and it's so much easier to change than my old Aquasana that the only effort involves the fact that it's under the sink. If it were at shoulder level in the open, this would take 10 seconds to change. LOVE these filters, never stop selling them Amazon and Culligan!!
