I don't think there is a better gas range on the market. I've had my LG-LRG3097ST for over 6 months and it has performed admirably. The warming tray works great and I'm looking forward to using it during the holidays. The only concern I would have would be the ease of turning on the top burners. If you have small children, I would invest in safety knobs. While cleaning the range top, I leaned in and poof..the burner went on. Could have been disastrous! Otherwise, cleans up well and love the three racks. I can bake three trays of cookies easily.

Don't EVER, EVER, EVER consider buying this range!!! It took 2 1/5 months to get it, and the oven doesn't work. Total crap.

Thermador : T36BT71FSE 36 Bottom Mount Refrigerator - Stainless Steel

When buying this type of appliance, you expect at least to be operative right out the box. Oh well, I got delivered a unit that had the compressor for the refrigerator non working, so I have not been able to enjoy the unit. I would have believed that the right thing to do is to deliver another new unit in working condition; but not, Thermador says that they have to fix it in the house. That means replacing the compressor and cutting into the line that is sealed from factory. Way to go Thermador;nice way to treat your customers after spending $6,000+ in those units. If you are considering Thermador refrigerators, please buy Sub Zero at the same price; I have not heard of any complains on customer service issues.

This was the perfect refrigerator fit for our kitchen. But after 18 months the refrigerator section stopped working. It took two weeks to get the condenser replaced. Thermador has very poor customer service. I waited a week for their repairman to come out since it is has a 2 year warranty. The man took one look at it and said I needed to call a local repair company in Dallas. So that took another week to get the part and get it working. I also ordered the charcoal filter and ice maker filter from Thermador. They sent some random and incorrect parts like a water inlet??? I have spent almost a month trying to get them to take those parts back without charging me a restock fee or shipping. I can get them on the phone but it's like the Keystone Cops over there. The unit is working now but I don't have a lot of confidence.

The outfit who eventually repaired the unit said it's full of Chinese parts, as are all refrigerators now and basically "they don't make 'em like they used to". I guess I would feel differently about that if I spent $2,000 on the unit versus $8,000.

The only good thing I can say about it is that the size is nice; it is really attractive and it had the french doors, which we needed to fit in our kitchen vs. the subzero which wasn't available.

GE : IM4A Ice Maker Kit

I ordered this unit to put in a GE refrigerator that did not contain an ice maker. The installation was not very difficult. It took me an hour or so to install (I was not rushing). It has been working great. It makes a great amount of ice in a short time. I am very happy with my purchase.

I ordered this model because it was the one listed in the Owner's Manual. lt turns out you can use the newer model (IM6, I believe) but it may or may not have some design/manufacturing flaws depending on what you read. Either way the unit works great and was easy to install. All of the parts I needed were included (even a few that I didn't need because they came with our refrigerator).

The only complaint I have is probably more a design flaw: the ice tends to overfill the bucket until it overflows. It could be an install error on my part I suppose but there isn't too much room for error.

When I first ordered this, I called GE because the directions weren't clear (they say to find a letter decal on the back of the fridge; we didn't have one). GE said this ice maker wouldn't work with my fridge. I called the manufacturer of the fridge and they said this ice maker wouldn't work. I ordered one from them. Thank goodness I hadn't returned this yet. That company sent me a used, broken ice maker...the same model as this! I returned the broken used one, which cost twice as much as the unit from Amazon, plus the unit from Amazon is complete with ALL necessary parts. I did have to call a handy man to install because of the directions issue. Maybe someone handy wouldn't need to. This ice maker is working perfectly! I definitely recommend this item.

it says i need to put 20 words or more on here so as i said before that this item has a very good price and was shipped very fast i actually ordered 4 of them because they are known not to last very long about a year 2 at the most which seems to be the nature of the part if you use the fridge a lot (opening and closing it) they tend not to last as long

This pump was listed as Whirlpool Part Number 35-6465 it is NOT!, it is an aftermarket equivalent (copy) with different markings, the impeller teeth are reversed in the housing from the OEM. And the same pump can be bought for $12 plus shipping elsewhere. It is an ER21001906 washer pump or LP123, by ERP (Exact Replacement Parts) not whirlpool part as described in advertising. This is exactly why you see one review that it works fine and one review it lasted a couple of days or weeks.

We owned an Amana refer for over 15 years until it stopped cooling in the refer and the freezer wouldn't defrost. I checked on getting it repaired but tech said would be better off buying a new one.

So ...since we had good luck with Amana in the past we bought the one listed here.

Big mistake. The same thing that happened to our 15 year old refer hit the new one after only 2 years. Of course it is out of warranty now so I guess we have to pay 200 or more to get it fixed or buy a new fridge every 2 years. The freezer coils get covered with ice and the fridge is warm ....inexcusable for an appliance this new.

I have been using this fridge for a little over two months now and it is so far keeping everything within it good and cold and/or frozen. Our prior fridge was a Frigidaire that was around 30 years old. It was making extra noises, ran almost constantly and had a few less cubic feet, but still worked. We have noticed that our electric bill took a drop after starting to use this Amana, so it is more efficient. The two plastic drawers within the Amana look a bit flimsy. I hope they do not break as they are expensive to replace. The three drawers in the Frigidaire were much more sturdily made. The bottom drawer was for meats and stayed a little colder. The Amana does not have a place especially for meats.

We had to add plumbing to the house to get water for the ice maker. Just got that done within the last few days. The ice maker is now doing its job. Every few hours we hear it dropping ice. As the instructions stated, I threw out the first several batches of ice.

I would have liked to have greater control over the spacing of the shelves. This Amana is suppose to have several cubic feet more space than the Frigidaire, but it doesn't seem to hold any more than the Frigidaire did. Appears to me that there is a lot of space within the Amana that is not able to be used. I do like the tempered glass shelves that will stop small spills from going clear to the bottom of the fridge. The door could have used one more tray and a place to keep eggs where they could be accessed easily.

So far, I am liking this Amana. Other than the inefficient use of space and the flimsy looking drawers, it seems to be working well so far. Knock on wood. I hope it keeps up. I am giving it four stars. Will update in the future if needed.

This refrigerator, which was purchased from Amazon, was delivered by a truck, unpacked by the driver, and then wheeled into the house and placed where it was requested. The outside packing material was removed by the driver. Very good service by Amazon.

Have been using this refrigerator for around fifteen months now and it continues to work quite well. No problems with it whatsoever. The ice maker also continues to work quite well. There are only few complaints I might make so far. One is that the glass shelves are dirt magnets. Every few weeks I find that I have to clean a shelf or two. The other is it looks to me as though the shelves could have been several inches deeper front to back. It looks as though there was enough space for that and it would have added a little more storage capacity. I would recommend a couple of wire baskets for the freezer section to keep smaller items in. They keep small items from falling out. I like the Spectrum 47970 Medium Storage Basket.

I grew up with a very large, grey, Amana freezer always in our home and I do not remember my grandparents ever having anyone show up to work on it despite several moves and a time span from the 1950's to the early 1980's, that freezer was always dependable.

And, that's why I chose this refrigerator dependability! For me, buying a new refrigerator is a big expenditure and I need it to last a very long time. I also need a quiet, energy conserving appliance and this Amana fits the bill on that as well!

It took a little while to get used to a black refrigerator after always having beige or white ones, but now I really like it!

I also like the fact I can now go shopping and take advantage of grocery store sales and keep the freezer filled and I especially like the fact that with the side-by-side feature, I no longer have to worry about getting hit in the head by a top freezer door while putting food inside the fridge part!

I am very happy with this purchase!

I haven't had this long at all, so I can't speak for longevity. I love it so far, though. I ordered it on January 20th (a Friday), and it arrived on the 25th (the following Wednesday) at 8am! The delivery company already had it unpacked and ready to go, they rolled it right into my kitchen in less than 5 minutes. After hooking up the water and power lines, everything worked flawlessly. It's cooling both sides fine on medium settings and the ice/water maker/dispenser is great! I can barely hear it running when the compressor kicks in. For the price I am very satisfied.
