This is the only one I'll use. the others though may be cheaper, leak for about 2-3 weeks before they settle and if you don't use the water for a day or more, leaves a foul taste in the water requiring you to run about a gallon through before drinking. I've had no problems with this filter.Read Best Reviews of Samsung DA29-00012B Aqua-Pure Plus Refrigerator Water Filter Here

Whirlpool W10120998 Screen for Dryer
Buy Whirlpool W10120998 Screen for Dryer Now
After a fire inside the heater coil housing, I traced the source of the lint build up to the flimsy lint trap screen. This new one is thicker and seals much better. Now the screen is full of lint after every load, instead of lint going inside the dryer shell.Read Best Reviews of Whirlpool W10120998 Screen for Dryer Here
The product is OEM from Whirlpool. I like the additional of the center plastic strip to give the lint screen support and help reduce the chances of the screen geting damaged. My original part lasted about 5 years and was torn from frequent cleaning. I feel that this item remains a bit expensive for such a simple part.Want Whirlpool W10120998 Screen for Dryer Discount?
Replaced the original lint screen that came with our Whirlpool Duet Dryer (Model WGD9400SW) with this one in November 2012. So far it's holding up fine and the felt strip seems to be staying in place. Ordered the part from from Appliance Care Store. Prime shipping was fine and quick. So nice not to deal a dangling felt strip or worry about lint getting into the dryer. Perhaps the design issues of this part have been addressed by Whirlpool? If this one fails at least we know where to go to get a decent replacement!

Had this hunk of junk for 5 months. After that, the light started blinking and making this annoying sound. Apparently that means the compressor is kaput. Other reviewers say PEK will not service this. What a waste of money. PEK is garbage.Want Pek Vino Vault Wine Preserving Refrigerator, Silver Discount?

I was very excited to find a cube refrigerator that doesn't require 1/4 of the internal space for the compressor and an unnecessary freezer. Woohoo Avanti! There were two reviews for this product, but they were mixed: 1/5 and 5/5 stars. I took a gamble, and here's my take.Pros: The fridge is very light (see cons), and there is ample interior space. Compared to the 1.7 cu ft fridge it was replacing, it felt like twice the space due to no freezer or compressor, and the internal layout is a more useful configuration. I'm actually considering purchasing it again despite my one-star review and the cons below simply because the internal space is 10x more useful.
Cons: The fridge comes in a box with a protective layer of styrofoam, but the styrofoam on four sides is only about 1/4 inch thick. Some protection! One of the back corners of the fridge was slightly dented, but it was a minor cosmetic blemish. The dent could have occurred simply because someone looked at the fridge the wrong way. The stainless steel door is decent, but the black sides, back, and top of the fridge are made of what feels only marginally sturdier than those disposable aluminum cooking pans. The plastic of the interior also feels quite flimsy, but I never got to try it out because the unit did not work and I didn't get to put anything into it.
Also, not a pro or con, but I neglected to look at the product demensions thinking a 1.7 cu ft unit = another 1.7 cu ft unit, but this fridge is taller and skinnier than the "typical" cube refrigerator if that matters to you.I bought this to use instead of the big fridge I have, because I hated the noise it did, and I don't have much food in the fridge, so I don't need anything big.
This one is very silent (the fan did some noise at the begining, maybe like a desktop computer, but I haven't heard it later).
It's quite cool, so far it's working very good.
Take into account that it doesn't have freezer, so you can't make ice or have froozen things.

I was nervous reading the prior reviews about damage in shipping, but my wife really really wants a silent fridge so I figured I would get this to the office and try it, and use it for myself if it made any hints of noises she might be unhappy about.First the good news it arrived without major damage. The original manufacturer's packaging is simple corrugated cardboard (20lbs crush or similar) and took a decent beating in transit (not sure if it arrived at eek that way or if FedEx applied during delivery to me). Opening the packaging reveals a similarly skimpy amount of protective styrofoam about 2mm thick around the sides and a 5mm molded top and bottom cap fitting rather snugly. I can see why folks who have had dropped or mistreated boxes saw damage the 2mm syrofoam will NOT protect this unit from side impacts. There was some minor damage, luckily to the "back" of the unit denting the thin aluminum wall, but this did not appear to damage any internals and wont be visible.
Second the so-so news this box is manufactured about as cheaply as is possible given modern technology the Peltier solid-state thermo-electric cooler inside may be gee-whiz futuristic, but the chassis is standard main-land-China technology (not knocking the wizards there, I do admire their ingenuity at building material goods faster and cheaper than seems feasible). Fit of the front door is slightly off so that the plastic door insert rubs as the door is opened and closed, but otherwise the action of the door is smooth and noise-less.
The better news it works, 3 minutes after plugging it in on "high" it is noticeably cooler inside. Given the actual heat transfer physics of a Peltier junction in joules-per-second I would guess this fridge would struggle to take a massive object like a gallon of milk from room-temp down to 40F, but something that starts cool should remain such. Insulation in the box is limited due to the size, however the materials are a good choice (standard nylon and polystyrene) and should be as resistant to stains and mold as any other commercial refrigerator.
Last the best news the device is "silent" as far as I can tell there is a small heat-exchange fan on the back to draw room air across the Peltier junction, even when it is running continuously I cannot hear it from 5 feet away, my Apple MacBook laptop idle fan is louder from the same distance. No rattles, creaks or other aberrations. So far the fridge is quiet and cool, although I've only had it for two days. It arrived very very damaged, so that it can't stand correctly (rocks back and forth) and is extremely dented. The funny thing is, the box showed no signs of damage. The fridge, however, is partially smashed. I think it's a well functioning fridge, so I'd suggest buying it in store since it arrived in such a bad condition.

Nostalgia Electrics RIC-100 Retro Series Automatic Ice Maker, Red
- Countertop appliance makes up to 26 pounds of ice per day
- Portable, retro styling; holds up to a gallon of water at a time
- Produces first batch in 6 to 15 minutes; drops 9 cubes per cycle
- Choose from 3 different cube sizes; ice scooper included
- Measures 11-1/2 by 11-4/5 by 14-1/4 inches; 90-day limited warranty
Recently, it stopped working. The unit won't power on consistently. When it finally does power on, the ice tray is malfunctioning due to a crack running up the side. I contacted the manufacturer, but because it was out of the 90 or 180 day warranty period there was nothing they could do except to recommend a local appliance repair shop. I don't recommend this model or this manufacturer. The manufacturers' user guide for this ice maker touts this as an ice maker to last for years of use. Well, that has not been my experience. I think the price of this unit is too much to spend for something that breaks in less than a year.

Seems that many of us had common problems.I had this machine for less then a year and it stopped working, the ice tray broke and the motor will not turn on. The manufacturer will not do anything because it was out of warranty. They would not even do anything else to help me. I feel that this product is not worth the money and I would not recommend it to anyone.

I've used this ice maker every day for most of 2 years. I know its out of warranty, but when an ice cube got stuck under the tray, it cracked up the side. I'm willing to buy a new ice tray, but can't get any help to do so. I'm getting told that there are no parts available for it. So because a 2 dollar plastic part broke, I'm out $200. Up till now, I've had no problems with this ice maker, but if you need help later on, don't expect much. My initial review was 1 star, but it should be 4 stars for product and 1 star for product/customer service. What good is any product without some kind of customer service? Your not going to buy a car if the tires that come on it are not replaceable and when worn out, you have to buy another car, are you? $20,000 or $200. It does not matter.Want Nostalgia Electrics RIC-100 Retro Series Automatic Ice Maker, Red Discount?
I've been through two so far and neither has worked brand new out-of-the-box! Since I'm sick of returning them (and Sears only had a couple left on their shelves), I spoke to "Al" in customer service at The Helman Group, Ltd in Oxnard, CA. He said to bring it back to Sears for a refund (not a replacement) because there were a lot of problems with them and the line was discontinued for that reason. While I appreciate his honesty, it's obvious that there was a design or production problem but, since they'd already been sold to the retailer, it wasn't Helman's problem! Great!Worked fairly consistently for about 10 months. Then quit (seems to be a common thread with others reviews). Product appears to have been discontinued and the company has offered no support. Don't buy it. There are more reliable units out there for less.

Danby Deluxe Mini Fridge with Freezer (4.3cu.ft.)
Buy Danby Deluxe Mini Fridge with Freezer (4.3cu.ft.) Now
I bought this recently for 150 at the dept store with the 'bullseye' logo. I have the grey and black version. So far i'm happy with it as it does get cold enough to make ice in its mini-freezer compartment, and that was when i turned the temp control to the 2/3 setting(not even the max setting!). So make no mistake, it does get cold enough to make ice. If you're looking for a mini-fridge, temporary fridge, second fridge, single-person fridge, then this seems like a great value. I've only had it for a few weeks now, so i'll update my review if anything 'majorly bad' happens in the future(trust me, i'll be upset enough to come back and write a poor follow up if this fridge starts to breakdown in any way). Finally, the energy guide. The energy guide included with the fridge says it uses 343 of 345kwh, and that its yearly operating costs is $28. That 343/345 is very high, but it says it is measured against other comparable fridges up to 4.4 cubic feet. This is a 4.3 cubic ft mini-fridge, so obviously it would be near the max. Other 4.3/4.4 mini-fridges use about the same amount of energy. And the Danby actually used about the same amount as a 3.3 cubic ft Avanti mini-fridge i was looking at. I don't have a bias towards one brand or the other(this ain't Ford vs Chevy, PS3 vs XBOX 360), simply just letting you know what the energy guide stats are. So compare and shop around before making a decision if this one is right for you. I have it, and think it's a good purchase(one of the biggest mini-fridges with a mini-freezer compartment!) and a good value(one of the cheapest prices for a mini-fridge).
(edit: almost 2 yrs later, still works fine. although i have to defrost a little more than i'd like to. also, you can't fit a large pizza box in this thing. just saying)

I bought this refrigerator for my office 5 years ago. We have a tiny kitchen area and this fits easily under the counter. The freezer holds a couple of mini frozen dinners and is cold enough to make ice. We didn't notice any significant difference in our electric bills, but I didn't actually do the math, for those of you who are sticklers for that sort of thing. The push-button defrost is nice, however I wouldn't put this refrigerator in a room that young children have access to. That red defrost button is a big temptation. When our office moved, someone's little one pushed that red button. By the time we noticed, the refrigerator was standing in a puddle of water.
Overall, this refrigerator is reliable, easy to clean and I would buy it again.
Want Danby Deluxe Mini Fridge with Freezer (4.3cu.ft.) Discount?
I bought this attractive little appliance for use in an airplane hangar where the occasional consumption of perishable food and cold drink storage is desirable. This quiet running compact fit the bill perfectly. Some designs in this class of refrigerator are barely capable of holding 2 six-packs of canned beverage. Why bother? This fridge with 4.3 cubic feet of internal space is generous enough to store a reasonable amount of perishable food stuffs. Just don't expect too much utility of the freezer though, as its capacity is quite small. The internal layout of the Danby is well thought out and the vertical beverage stack on the door is a welcomed plus. The upper portion of the door also includes a special clear plastic insert to accomodate up to 9 eggs, but is an easily removed option. You can even change the direction of the door swing by swapping out the reversible hinges. Sized at a reasonable 20" across, the top of my Danby refrigerator perfectly accomodates a small microwave oven and the combination of the two is hard to beat when eating a casual meal miles away from the full sized comforts of the home kitchen!
