I purchased this LG refrigerator for my loft and could not be more pleased. I needed something chic and fabulous but yikes! The space allocated for the fridge is so narrow! I also wanted counter depth so as not to take up precious floor space there's almost nothing on the market that would have worked, short of a sub zero-type model for $6,000. Every other option was so ugly and unappealing that I could not bring myself to purchase.

I want to hug this slim little beauty!

The freezer space is three perfect, large drawers, plus a quick freeze zone for ice. The fridge space is very well designed. I don't use items like soda bottles but I do have three cartons of milk in the door, plus loads of fruits, veggies, and charcuterie items. Everything fits beautifully.

The kicker is the energy efficiency. The annual cost of operation is only $54 a year which means this box uses almost no power. Also, it has a vacation switch press the button if away and the fridge does its magic to keep things cool while saving power, pollution, the planet. Thanks, LG, for making such a brilliant product!

I love the design of the fridge, especially the drawers in the freezer. However, the fridge has broken twice in the 7 months I've owned it. LG needs to improve its quality control. My unit should never have left the factory.

This is my second LG 10 cu. ft. bottom-freezer refrigerator. The first one is still being used as a spare. I cannot say enough about this model. I have a small kitchen and it looks great (nicely designed) and it does not appear small in height or width. I love the fact it is counter depth and the height is 67+" tall. I have gotten so many compliments about it. Also, I love the bottom freezer (it really holds a lot). The refrigerator (top part) is good also. Love the features and cannot not find any complaint(s). VERY EASY to clean. I would highly recommend this item especially if you have a small kitchen/area. The price is great my first one (2 years old) (Amazon did not carry it at the time) cost more than this one!!! Even though it is the exact model, I noticed they made 2 changes 1) door trim is different color; and emblem is different other than that, exact model. For years I have been looking for a product that will help eliminate odors in the refrigerator and freezer. I was skeptic at first but then I heard about charcoal being used in refrigerators and decided to give it a try. Great product!

We recently bought a house and after moving in noticed an odor in the refrigerator that kept coming back no matter how thoroughly we cleaned it out. I bought one of these for the refrigerator and one for the freezer about a month ago and so far so clean.

What I received was not the refrigerator deodorizer as pictured, which I had purchased before and been happy with. What I received was two cardboard boxes with holes in them. I could have gone to my local grocery store and bought Arm & Hammer baking soda and punched some holes in the box and gotten the same result. Can't believe they charged me $12.60 each for them! Before I left negative feedback, I contacted the seller with my complaint but never received any response. Very poor service on a VERY bad product. Maybe someone from Amazon will read this and contact me---I hope so as this has left a very negative impression on me.

The items are NOT manufactured by Whirlpool but by a different company. The package is flimsy cardboard, not plastic as pictured and as previously sold. The listing says it lasts for a year but the package says replace after six months. I have written to Amazon complaining about these misrepresentations. Good luck if you still want to buy this.

My wife and I purchased this item last year when the fridge started giving off a strange smell. We had emptied it and cleaned it with vinegar, soap, comet, nothing would get rid of the smell which I guess had securely fastened itself in the vents. We bought these as a last resort and they did the trick (Although I think the cleanings got rid of the original source of the smell so you might want to do that as well). We put them in the freezer and fridge and in 24 hours there was not a hint of stink.

Swift Green Filters SGF-DSB30 Refrigerator Water Filter, 3-Pack

I wanted this to be a good filter -with the "greener" manufacturing process and Made in Canada cred -but it leaked in my 28.5 cu ft Samsung refrigerator. Apparently not an adequate replacement for the OEM DA29-00003 filter.

Update: I seem to have been able to get it to seal properly after taking it out and putting it in "backwards" and then taking it out again and putting it in "forwards." Totally random thing to do, but it hasn't leaked in 6 hours. We'll see.

I purchased this filter couple months ago thinking I will save some money. Wrong! the thing it very hard to install and after I got it in, it leaks. replaced with Samsung filter, no problem....Do Not!!!!! buy this filter.

Because of the price difference in this and a standard filter, I gave it a try. I'm not sure that it does as good of a job filtering the water as the last filter we had, that was the brand the manufacturer (Samsung) recommended. The water it provides tastes a little stale.

We have purchsed this filter several times from Amazon. The price is great compared to Lowes, etc. For people having an issue with putting the filter on correctly, follow the directions. I found putting a light film of petrolium jelly on the top ring helps the filter twist easier and always watertight. By the way, I have purchased an OEM filter from Lowes for $39 and had an issue with leaking. The light film takes care of the problem.

The $80 ice maker is THE ORIGINAL FACTORY Teflon like coated ice tray and it's worth the $80 over the $40 models you can find. I've had this Kenmore refrigator since 1995 and the ice maker began loosing it's ice tray coating at about 2010. I replaced the factory unit with one of the $40 unit and was surprised to find the ice cube tray was not the original Teflon but what appeared to be a thick white paint. It worked for about 18 months but I started noticing flakes in my ice which I eventually determined to be paint and metal. It's a good quality product if that's what you're looking for and I believe it to be a OEM direct replacement.

The part arrived on time without damage, good sign. The replacement comes with various adapter cables although not for my particular application. Fortunately I utilized the cable from the old unit and it worked perfectly!! Nice to have an ample supply of ice for those long tall glasses :)

Easy replacement. Got everything in kit to install wiring. Shutoff lever no problem to switch over. This is a direct replacement part and has worked perfectly since install.

This actually works better than the one that came with the refrigerator when new. Maybe they've improved the part, which seems rare these days, or maybe the original was never quite right. The heater on the bottom of the new one in particular seems to loosen the ice better so it easily releases from the tray. The original unit always groaned for at least a few minutes when it was trying to flip out the finished ice. I finally had to replace the original unit because it couldn't dump the ice at all unless I reached in and manually gave the ice a push, like the gears or motor had worn out.

There is an installation guide in English. Easy enough to follow if one is handy. There are online video how-to's on replacing this style ice maker as well if you want to see it done. Reaching the screw toward the back of the freezer can be a stretch, and I used a small mirror to see what I was doing when working with that bit. One surprise is that while this part comes with several electrical harnesses, one of which is supposed to just plug into the freezer, the wiring harness on my 2002 Whirlpool is hard-wired to the freezer. That just meant I had to disconnect my existing harness from the ice maker end and re-use it. Not a big deal.

If you're wanting to replace a compatible ice-maker for yourself and save labor costs, this one seems like a good choice.

I purchased the beverage center Aug 2011, beautiful product. Broke this July and it has been a nightmare to get replaced since they were not able to fix it (3 visits from the repair company). Everyone at Danby was soooooo nice, but totally useless. It is now the end of Oct...and no replacement. When I called Danby today 10/30/12 I was told that I didnt send them the physical serial #, which I was NEVER told to do back on 10/2/12. I was told the replacement was being shipped and to call them when I received it to discuss warranty on the new item. Today I was hung up on by Maria Pineda, the Danby Manager of Customer Service because I was upset that this was going on for so long...really?? Thats how they handle an upset customer?! Please google the company and products reviews before purchasing a Danby product.

Purchased this beverage center 4 years ago. I love this little refrigerator, you can store beverages in one side and your wine in the other and there are dual controls for each side with a beautiful blue light when you open the refrigerator. The only problems is that it lasted a mere 4 years before dying. Repairman says it was made in China and the wires are opposite of what is normal in the US making it tricky to diagnose and repair. Turns out is needs a new master board which runs somewhere in the $500+ range because it is not a stocked item anywhere so it has to be special ordered. Cheaper just to buy a new one, unfortunately.

Overall this little cooler does a great job. Read some of the other reviews and wonder if I happen to get the best from the bunch.

Works real well till the grand kids come over and think its great to have unlimited access to soda pop. Trick like any refrigerator keep the doors closed and it maintains the wine at the right temperatures. The beverage side will cool energy drinks, sodas and gatorade cold enough to enjoy right out of the can. Unit was build into a cabinet we made sure to leave space behind the unit to allow for air to circulate. Have had it for a couple of years and it runs like a champ.

We bought this cooler new and have had multiple problems ever since. First of all, the cooler looks cool, with its blue light, but that is the only feature that we like. Although it is still on warranty, we have spent MONTHS attempting to get it repaired. The repairman advised us that this model is made in China and he was unable to fix it because of what he maintained is an engineering issue. He was very competent and familiar with the unit, but still was unable to fix it. The cooler has two sides that have independent/dual temperature controls. Although it is supposed to cool down to 39 degrees, it only dips down to the 50's. Both sides fluculate wildly. This was money down the drain. The repairman picked it up twice and kept it for almost a month each time trying to fix it. He replaced the board and when it returned the light didn't work. He took it back because the temperature only work properly for days. He returned and watched it and admitted that it can't hold the correct temperature. He left it here and related that he would contact Danby for assistance because he can't disgnosis it. Even the repairman maintained that he could not get any answers from the Danby service experts. The bottom line is that the unit is only useful as an anchor or something that looks nice, but doesn't work. After the warranty is over, we will just have to pitch it out and purchase a more reliable make/model. PLEASE, SAVE YOURSELF AGGRAVATION AND DO NOT PURCHASE THIS PRODUCT!

This has to be the worse appliance I have ever owned. Cannot hold a temperature, noisy fans, one side quit some time back. I have yet to find a decent review. Like I said DO NOT BUY!!

Seems to be working out great on our Whirlpool Gold side-by-side. It seems to be the exact filter that the fridge came with, but it also came with a vinyl removable sticker that has the month you bought it and the month it needs to be replaced. Very helpful!

I live in Tucson Arizona where the water is cruddy. Very cruddy. I used to have a GE refrigerator with a GE filter system. Filters were about the same price as this one. But having replaced refrigerators and after about a year of using this filter in my Whirlpool refrigerator I can confidently tell you this filter produces a much cleaner taste when drank at room temperature. The temperature where a true taste test should be conducted because even pretty bad water has very little taste when ice cold as you probably have notices. Oh, and replacing this filter in the frig is a snap also.

This part is easily installed into the refrigerator, it lasts a very long time. It needs to be replaced approximately once every 6 months which is perfectly fine with me, better than the one I used to own which needed to be replaced within 3 months.
