Very good product. Excellent capacity with 3 shelfs for 12oz long necks (estimated at 50 +) or rearrange for cans and 2 liter bottles. Shelf arrangement makes for versitile config.

dislikes: The door lock, which we rarely use, failed on one of its useages. Locked the refrig when we were planning on a week away from home, which normally we would not be concerned about the beer contents, but two doors down, some seedy folks were wandering around in back yards and we didn't want to be supplying beer to that group.

On return from the trip, insert the key and it turns but the strike didn't retrac. I ended up prying the strike to open the door. With the door open I could force the strike to retrac with physical pressure and turning the key. The refrig is usable but the I've lost faith in the lock.

The look of the fridge is great, but in a South Florida climate, the lack of a condensation heater in the door makes for a very wet (condensed water) front door in the morning. Not a big issue but expectation was for the fridge to not do that.

Got this unit and would not cool. Played around with settings on thermostat and it began working. Trouble was temp could not be adjusted, it was either full cold or not working at all. I returned it.

This is a very well designed and well thought out refrigerator. Without question, the nicest fridge I've ever owned.... with one problem. This unit was shipped from the factory with a non-functioning ice maker. After a month of trying to get it fixed, we're shipping it back to Mexico tomorrow. There's really no excuse for a company with a reputation like Electrolux to ship products that don't work. Too bad we really like the design. But we'll be looking elsewhere now.

Frigidaire Refrigerator Door Cam, Door Closer 240457701

I've seen a lot of posts about the same problem with this Frigidaire refrigerator door, making a "clunk" noise as the cams wear out. In our case, the upper cam completely broke. My first mistake was thinking that all I needed to do was replace that broken upper cam. Well, what actually happened was (1) the upper cam broke, (2) the lower cam also had worn badly, and (3) the metal shaft at the bottom had damaged & warped the triangle-shaped hole that the upper cam fits into.

So I ignorantly ordered just the upper cam; when it arrived and I installed it, it still clunked. I then guessed that the lower cam needed replacing after being worn improperly, so I ordered that. Still clunked. Realized the bracket with the triangle-shaped hole was not holding the upper cam securely, so I ordered and replaced that. Still clunks.

The moral of the story is that each part has been replaced and seems to be in order, but the damn door still clunks. I suspect it'll only be a matter of time before the upper cam breaks again, but I can't see any solution past the $60+ I've already spent trying to fix it.

Ok what more can you say? Just beware the two parts to the door cam is different. You can't tell from just the diagram.

There is the flat cam and the other cam with a barrel. The barrel cam goes into the door and the flat cam installs onto the bracket. Hey when you spend that much money on the two plastic parts, you should know what you're getting.

I was looking around the web for a mini-fridge for my office, and stumbled across this one. I have to say it's the coolest one I've ever seen, I mean c'mon, ITS A COKE BOTTLE!! The item arrived on time and set up was easy. The fridge is also very light and the cap houses a handle for easy transportation. At first it didn't seem to be keeping my drinks cold. I found out later that it all depends on the room temperature. If you keep this fridge in a cool room, your drinks will be ICE cold! Not exaggerating. However if you keep it in a warm room, well you can forget it. I haven't tested out its heating function but I would assume the same principals apply. So if you're looking for a stylish mini fridge that will be kept in a fairly cool room, I recommend this one!

I didn't like the way the water tasted. We ran water through the filter more than what was required and the taste just didn't get any better. Tasted oily, went and bought and actual LG filter and it tasted great.

i do not like this product because my water from the fridgerator has like a chlorine or floride taste to it...its not to bad if the water is cold but if the water sits and gets warm it is awful....i would recommend buying the original one that the fridge comes with....

Purchased this as an alternative to normal charcoal filters trying to do my "green thing" for the environment.

I have switched back to normal filters. These do an ok job but they don't remove the taste that Dallas water has. Not much natural spring water here in the Dallas area and therefore water is pulled from reservoirs and ponds which has a high algae / green content. Normal filters filter out the taste, these don't.

Seems to be working out great on our Whirlpool Gold side-by-side. It seems to be the exact filter that the fridge came with, but it also came with a vinyl removable sticker that has the month you bought it and the month it needs to be replaced. Very helpful!

I live in Tucson Arizona where the water is cruddy. Very cruddy. I used to have a GE refrigerator with a GE filter system. Filters were about the same price as this one. But having replaced refrigerators and after about a year of using this filter in my Whirlpool refrigerator I can confidently tell you this filter produces a much cleaner taste when drank at room temperature. The temperature where a true taste test should be conducted because even pretty bad water has very little taste when ice cold as you probably have notices. Oh, and replacing this filter in the frig is a snap also.

This part is easily installed into the refrigerator, it lasts a very long time. It needs to be replaced approximately once every 6 months which is perfectly fine with me, better than the one I used to own which needed to be replaced within 3 months.
