when you order these filters picture shows frigidaire filter with box. when you receive them your in for a surprise. they are not frigidaire and they are not in a box. they are wrapped individually in bubble wrap.not a single marking on filter as to manufacturer or filter size. absolutely no installation instructions at all. they will not tell you the manufacturer except that it is a reputable manufacturer. they do offer a ups return label if you are not satisfied, except i am sure you forfeit your original postage of $7 dollars plus, so they expect me to return these and lose the postage? for about $5.00 more or $59.95 i found the original fridgidaire filters in a box,and that includes postage on ebay.i will eat these phony frigidaire filters but i also think they should stop advertising them as fridgedaire filters in original box.
The description of this product is false. It is not a Frigidaire filter. Best price I've found for the real thing is at Appliance Zone $15 gets you the real PureSource filter!
Not a Frigidaire Filter, bought 2 filters but could have bought 3 of same from other seller. Amazon should remove item. Didn't read reviews, did not think I needed to for such a simple item.
I have had this refrigerator for 2 1/2 years. A couple weeks ago it stopped cooling and spoiled a fridge full of food. Turns out these models are notorious for faulty defrost thermostats, defrost heaters, and control circuit boards. Bottom line it will cost you time, money, and aggravation.
I have had this fridge for 2 years, and it has defrosting issues. The only thing Whirlpool can tell me do is replace are the items mentioned in the above review. I replaced then all and It still doesn't work.
After 2 1/2 years, the defrost unit failed. It cost over $400 to get it repaired, plus the cost of replacing the spoiled food. I regret buying this refrigerator and now I'm worried about it happening again.
I bought this refrigerator 2 years ago and it has broken twice already. The first time it was the thermostat. Then it was the electronic control. All the food has had to be thrown out twice and it has cost $343 to fix everything so far. Now we are getting a lot of frost in the freezer. I'll never purchase a Whirlpool again!

A couple of years ago this fridge had pretty good reviews, so I ignored the warnings and bought it. What could go wrong? I thought people who needed a door alarm must be pretty unconscious. Well, my bad. These doors don't close like single doors; there's a mechanism in the middle and it sometimes keeps the doors from closing. You find out the next morning, when the fridge has given up and everything is warm and ruined.
The freezer has a similar problem. If you fill it good and full, things can block it from closing entirely. . .and again, it shuts off and lets everything thaw. Plus, there seems to be an inherent design flaw that causes ice to form in the freezer back, blocking the drain until water drips out the front. I found a YouTube cure but it could cost if you're not handy with tools.
All this, and I didn't even know about the problems other people have had! To tell the truth, though, I like the design and mine has been pretty reliable. But the lack of a door alarm, coupled with the mechanism that prevents assured closing, is a fatal flaw. You will eventually rush and fail to notice the door isn't quite closed--and there goes a bunch of food. Look elsewhere.
This item took nearly a month to recieve. If you check their feedback, it looks like not shipping orders is a common problem. I was litterally a day away from filing a claim with Amazon when it showed up.
It should be noted that the item did not include any installation instructions or the spanner wrench listed in the description.
I purchased this unit to install on the hot water line that runs to our large shower in the master bath. The dual shower unit has the auto adjust heat settings, and multiple jets, including body jets. About every 6 months, I would need to disassemble the control unit, and clean out a fine residue that built up on the ultra fine mesh screens inside the handles. Even with softened municipal water, these screens would clog up and the water pressure would go down to a trickle in 3-6 months. I isolated it to the issue to hot water only. This cleaning process was not fun, as it was a timely process.
I installed this unit on the hot water line going to the bath, and installed a 5 micron filter. The unit is heavy duty, and built to withstand the hot water. So far, after 6 months, the pressures are fine. I'll be changing the cartridge soon.
I bought this filter to keep sediment and scale from clogging my sink. I am sure it is coming from the water tank. It was the only filter i could find under $100 rated for hot water. I expected the item in 2-3 days, as promised, yet it took ten. I was also disappointed it had no installation instructions. I assumed it needed a bracket, so I tapped the holes to 1/4" and made a metal bracket to hold it. It does seem to do a good job filtering the water.
Was not exactly what I wanted however, it was in PERFECT condition otherwise. They worked very hard to assist me in returning the product. WILL DEFINITELY buy from again

Product came quickly. Everything is perfect and I got a really really great deal. Love it!
The materials are excellent quality. The device has space for six vials of insulin which is plenty. It is March and I haven't used the device in hot weather, but the insulin has been kept cool. The operative word is cool not cold. Ambient temperatures are in high 60's and insulin is at mid-50's temperature. I wonder whether it will work in hot weather.
The power supply will work worldwide, and there is an adapter that runs in an automotive cigar lighter socket.
The Bad:
The device is noisy. I can't sleep with it in the room. It is really noisy. And it never shuts off. It runs 24 hours a day no matter what the external temperature. The device is rated at 15 Watts. This is a lot of power for so little cooling.
The Ugly:
The plastic and construction is good quality, but it looks like an expensive coffin. Somebody has a sense of (sick) humor and flaunts that diabetics will die early. The designers of this device don't want their customers to forget it.
Not only was I surprised at the price of the temperature control but the speed of the delivery was very impressive. The price was perfect and it arrived far ahead of expectations.
I purchased this temperature control figuring it was equal to the OEM control I was replacing. After purchasing this control and opening the box, I realized this was a "generic" control. The screw holes were off by 90 degrees, the original control knob would not fit, and I ended up spending another $48.00 for the correct control. Refrigerators parts change month to month and finding repair parts is always an "Uphill Battle." For these applications and repairs, go with the OEM parts and just make the one purchase for the correct repair part!
Save yourself the time and stock up with a three pack. These items were perfect OEM replacements; you can also get about double the lifespan as advertised if your water is not too hard.

The first unit I ordered was defective; the door hinge was bent and the doors did not seal. I decided to give it another chance and requested a replacement. The second unit was defective as well; the screw holes to attach the door handle were misaligned and the handle would not attach properly. I think it is safe to assume at this point that there are serious quality control issues with this brand. This time I requested a refund. If the rating system allowed me to give it zero stars I would.
I purchased it through under Koolatron WC-18 name in Dec 2009. It appears to be exactly the same model that is shown on this Amazon.com image. I really liked cabinet design and ease of controls. Unit was fairly quiet just slight whisper noise of cooling fans.
Unit's upper zone stopped working two month after purchase fan was running, but there was no cooling function. It looked like the top thermo-elements have been defective. After reading warranty info ( I should had done it prior to purchase no excuses.) I found that Koolatron is only providing 90 days protection and does not refund shipping charges to Canada or another US location (approx $60 for UPS). I was told that if it fails again I would have to ship at my expense again (no refund even if they find that product was defective) and warranty would not be extended. I found that no local warranty repair service is available anywhere else in the country. Customer rep. would not let me to discuss my options with her manager and simply hang up on me after I started complaining.
I got very lucky that our local Sears store kindly agreed to take this unit back at full refund (including shipping)under their 90 days return policy!
This is a great wine refrig. for the home with little space. It is a little tall but that's fine because the width is where we have space issues. It is quiet, and I like that it holds both white and reds.
When we bought our Koolatron 18 it was working as it should, then after approximately 4 months, the display board broke. It was showing wrong information about the wine temperature with both upper and lower compartments. We had to use a seperate thermometer to check the temperature. Even though the display was wrong, the wine temperature was alright. Got in touch with Sears and asked them to replace the unit because we had lost confidence. They refused because we had it for more than 3 months. When contacting the company they asked us to send it back to the their manufacture. Can you imagine the cost. They did not offer to compensate. They simply offered to send us the defective part. A bit cornered, we accepted. But we are still not sure of the end results. So beware of that product. Poor customer service from both the seller and the maker.

THIS WHIRLPOOL 2206934B DOOR HANDLE WORKS WITH MANY WHIRLPOOL AND OTHER BRAND REFRIGERATOR/FREEZERS
Our fridge is the Kenmore Elite (made by Whirlpool) with black sides and what would normally be called 'black' plastic handles & trim. We had to return this part because it was very dark black and didn't match. We reordered the "gray" (J code) and that color matches. The gray is very dark charcoal gray, however. I'm giving 4 stars because it was impossible to tell the color difference from the pictures or the description.
Also, both boxes were ripped open at one end (delivered by USPS). The black-black one was loose in the box and fell out when I picked it up off the porch. The grey-black one had been wrapped in a UPS (not USPS) bag and jammed into the box so it wouldn't fall out.
The part slides in after you slide off the trim above and below the old handle. It is the same exact shape so it would not be conspicuous if not for the fact that the color was noticably off (black instead of dark gray). This is the 2nd replacement handle I've installed in a little over a year. That and the fact that the Whirlpool condensor coils underneath are notoriously impossible to clean and remove dust (just Google 'how to clean dust from refrigerator coils) gives me the impression that these things were designed to fail to sustain the company. Oh well...
I've got a Whirlpool fridge with this stupid handle on it.. and in less than a year I've broken two of them. Sears wants between $50 and $75 a piece for these things, and shipping costs extra and takes two weeks. Why pay that money when you can get the same part here for half the money, and have it in hand in two days? I'd give this a 5-Star rating if I thought it had any better chance of surviving and not breaking.. but.. I know this is a flawed design.
THIS brush does the job. IT fits into the tight areas of the bottom of my GE fridge, , I hold a vac nozzle narrow piece as far in the bottom as I can and get the brush moving to dislodge the lint and dust stuck on the bottom of the fridge. My fridge has the coil way way in the back one side on a slant, so using the brush as is, long and straightway won't work. But..the solution it's a soft enough, yet strong enough steel core, that I can bend the brush for about a 45 degree angle or more or less as needed to rub the coils side to side with the brush horizontal the slanted coils, it works! The brush is long enough to get to the back bottom with about a 5-6inch 45 degree bend, and it's narrow enough yet with enough bristles to dislodge the build up. And I do think the fridge is running less, any build up on the coil is a big insulating blanket, that stops heat transfer from the coil. So keep it clean, I could never get the lint off with just the taper nozzle of the vac, it needs the brush to dislodge it. A round vac attachment brush is way too big to fit under the fridge, or through the narrow opening in the front bottom of the fridge. The brush does what it should.
used this for both refrigerator coils and dryer vent. Was able to get far back between the coils. Also it great for the dryer vent to get two feet in for cleaning.
