The quality of this product seems fine. The manufacturer now recommends this part number to replace broken latches on my dryer. There is a selection of 'strengths' in this package (20,22 and 25). The problem is (as others have stated), these latches don't hold the dryer door shut. I tried matching the strength of the clip with what broke in my machine to no avail. I tried all of the other strengths, and they all allow the dryer door to pop open with wet clothes thus stopping the drying cycle. We have had to resort to taping the door shut or pushing something up against it. Sadly, I don't think this is a good replacement for the latches that came on the door in the original machine. Hope you have better luck than I did.

This is exactly what we were looking for, just didn't know if it existed! We have well water so we don't really need a filter, but had to buy them or we couldn't get ice or water through our fridge. If you use reverse osmosis, it doesn't create enough pressure to get a good flow going through the internal fridge filter. This bypass does the job.

I thought I was getting Aquafresh filters. I received 2 Supco filters instead. They are the same fit but I am not sure about the quality these replacement filters.

I originally went to Home Depot to look for a filter replacement, but it was $30 for one. So I decided to look online and found 2 for $16. I was glad to find a better deal!

Frigidaire 241734301 Water Valve for Refrigerator

The replacement used insertion type fittings. Had to cut the fitting ends off the plastic tubing and insert the cleanly cut tubing ends. It went well with no leaks.

The valve fixed the water supply coming out from the filtered water line.

The difference between the old valve and the new valve was, the original valve had threaded fittings, the new valve has compression fittings. So you have to cut the original lines and push them in.

This unit fits and works exactly like the original. The mounting hardware was a perfect match for the original. This unit uses "push-in" connectors where the original used "screw-on" connectors. Amana Refrigerator Defrost Timer 10530703

Item fits/works fine. Through Amazon this item was less than 1/2 price the cost of the factory replacement part & I expected this one to be a cheap copy of the original. However the original Kenmore part appears to be manufactured in the same Chinese factory, as all markings are identical.

Seems to have fixed the icing up issue in the freezer with the timer never kicking over to defrost. Everything seems to be working great now. Still need to install the thermostat as a precaution but the timer is working great.

Build seems comparable to original (which lasted 23 years). Simple. Power off. 3 screws. Unplug the old. Plug in the new. Close it up. Power on. So far so good. I used the original self tapping screws instead of the nuts and bolts supplied though. Much easier in the tight space.

It fits and does the job. But fridge still occasionally freezes the milk, have to manually defrost by turning the timer's knob to OFF a few times (extending the defrost time several fold) then it is OK for a few months. Or weeks. Kind of unpredictable. I think ice forms in the air channel between the freezer and the fridge (the floor of the freezer) and maybe locks the flap that regulates the air flow down into the fridge part. Whatever it is, this timer is supposed to prevent ice buildup by turning on a heater. I wonder if the heater is doing its job. May just junk the fridge if it quits regulating entirely.

Impressive fridge! I use this in my garage gym for drinks after workouts. Since I am in Arizona, it often reaches as high as 110 in the garage and this little fridge keeps my set point at 38 degrees F no problem despite the high heat. Update Nov. 2010:

Bottle next to the cooling vent is slightly cool (at lowest temperature); the others aren't. There's a lot of condensation inside, so you have to dry the puddles every few months.

It kinda serves its purpose, but I thought it would be better.

First off, the plastic looks and feels cheap; it scratches easily. Also, the sticker in the control panel wasn't properly adhered, so I pulled it out a bit to strech it, and now it doesn't stick properly. The good thing about the unit being plastic, is that it's very light.

As for the cooling properties, the wine bottle next to the cooling vent, cools wonderfully; the one next to that one, is OK; the third one, not so much; and the bottle farthest to the vent doesen't cool at all. I always use the bottle next to the vent, and then move the remaining a space closer to the vent, so they'll cool while we drink the one I took out.

It's not as quiet as advertised (it says "ultra quiet"). It's actually a little louder than my fridge; but it's not that bad. We have it the kitchen, next to the fridge, so it doesn't bother us too much.

I bought it because it's a real spacesaver. It can be mounted horizontally under cabinets, which is how we use it; and it can also be used freestandind vertically or horizontally.

I bought this cooler less than a month ago for $129.99, and now it's $89.98, so I guess it's not selling all that well.

I bought this to save space in my kitchen. The wine cooler worked great for about a month and now the cooler has stopped cooling. The fan still goes but it doesnt work. I would suggest spending some more money and get a good one.

Just like one of the other reviewers...my unit worked for about a month then just stopped working. Fan keeps going but no cooling. I might just as well have saved my money and bought an expensive wine rack for all the good it does. Dont buy...get a better quality unit.

We purchased two of these units to stand upright inside a buffet server. The problem is that they generate a good deal of heat, and therfore we couldn't close the doors of the server without getting a substantial build-up of heat inside. We actually solved the problem by attaching some plastic tubing and venting it out the back of the piece of furniture. This required some creative thinking and extra expense and work, but hopefully it'll be OK. The fridges themselves seem to work just fine, it's just the problem with the location we chose to use them in.
