Everything about this unit is good, except for the fact that it has CONTINUOUSLY LEAKED, even after multiple repairs and new parts. ''

The leaking has severely damaged my wood floors and we may require mold remediation due to the fact that this is an ongoing problem. I've literally spent hours and hours dealing with the fridge and the damage it has caused, and the hours are still adding up. ''This unit should have been replaced months ago but the manufacturer has refused so far.

I'm also still waiting (been waiting for a couple months) to find out if Frigidaire will pay to repair my floors.'' So, right now, I have a fridge that leaks water, a growing mold concern, and over $1500 worth of damage to my floor. I did not expect this when I bought a BRAND NEW fridge. Other than the leaking, I actually really like this fridge. Unfortuantely, the damp floors, mold, and hours on hold with frigidaire far outweigh all of the things I like about this unit.

I ordered the two pack with Amazon as the seller, and got the correct "B" version (not the cheaper "A").

Works fine in our Kenmore fridge.

Amazon's two pack was the lowest per filter price I found online anywhere for a real "B" version.

I received the correct part. The "B" filter. Installed easily. Many of the reviews for this product reveal an issue Amazon has. Not everyone who is reviewing this product got it from the same company. I ordered it from Amazon. Not a third party vendor. Also, why worry! If your are not an Amazon Prime member you should be! The shipping is free both ways. If Amazon makes a mistake on your order you simply go to the returns area and print your FREE return label. So come on folks. Read!

DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT!

The package came with no receipt or any kind of printed copy of my order and with just one filter inside. The amazon packaging was well wrapped and did not seem to have been violated in any way but the actual product package was not sealed (looked like it was a re-packaged product) and only one water filter was available.

For 99$ this is completely unacceptable!

I have owned this for over a year now.When it arrived,it was dented on the bottom.I was able to mend it and I kept it since it was not noticeable once in position.If your room is above 68 degrees,it starts condensating inside and you need wipe out the water every few days.Not what I want to do in the summer months when it is 90 out.This has 2 fans in the back of the unit to cool the coils and 1 dumped after about 2 months.Again I didn't want to lug this out.I took it apart and put a pc case fan in its place.Back up and running and the pc fan cooled just as well which I get to next.This will do fine for drinks,but I get a little worried putting milk and lunch meats in there.I can't say how cool it gets cause I didn't throw a thermometer inside,but it just seems like it could do better.Mind you I have not gotten sick from anything I did keep in there.Keep in mind that this does not have a compressor,it uses peltier technology.

I chose a retailer that had a good reputation, but sold it at a premium price it arrived in good shape. The unit is very lightweight, like a glorified cooler, leaving me feeling like I overpaid for this.... The good? The only sound comes from two quiet fans. At the warmest possible setting it holds a steady 60 degrees, which is just what I wanted. Perfect for storing things in a "cool, dry place" during the summer months. I expect it to use very little electricity, and it makes for a nice little alternate fridge!

GE WR55X10942 Main Control Board for Refrigerator

Prompt deliver (within one day using upgraded shipping). Installed without cutting any wires as directed by included installations. Refrigertor is operating correctly and saved me about one hundred dollars on cost of the control board.

This was an easy fix for what could have been a very expensive service call. Local service wanted to charge me retail for the part plus 3 hours of labor. I could have almost bought a new refrigerator for that much.

I purchased just about every electronic replacement part for our Profile fridge... AND GE CS Advocates quoted me well below wholesale for the price. IE. I ordered a heater for the freezer section... best price anywhere on the web $30... GE: $10

I needed a main board... but decided to replace all of the electronics. I spoke to a GE customer advocate 3 times (placed 3 orders), called the 800 # listed in from Thin Tow Man's review.... WOW... Best CS ever... Our fridge is not warranty or any recall list... Ok, the important part... Main board (w/ 1 year warranty), temp. module board, two thermistors and a freezer switch module... Total including Next Day Air $95 And they both said that if I had a problem with the install that I could give them a call !!! I also purchased a Cole-Parmer temp monitor with high and low alarms... $50 WHEN THE ALARM GOES OFF (I set the alarms at -10 & +15 degrees) I THEN TURN THE FRIDGE OFF FOR 30 Secs to 1 min. AND THEN BACK ON. That really works in my case... Doing so resets the board... I read that somewhere... It's a real pain but solves a BIG problem until I do the new install. I am leaving the temp monitor (its very small) in place because I read somewhere the a person had THREE of the boards go bad within a very short period of time.

The new board has made my GE fridge better than new. Unfortunately, I only found out about the recall on the board for my model after my warranty was up. I initially ordered the wrong board from the seller and they were very good about exchanging it for the right part quickly. They responded very quickly on a weekend. I will definitely order from the seller next time I need a new appliance part.
