I purchased this compact refrigerator, excited that it has auto-defrost, and it is a larger compact refrigerator. Unfortunately however, the refrigerator freezes water at the lowest temperature, and the manufacturer has lousy customer service. I do not recommend buying anything from Summit or Felix Storch.

Whirlpool Part Number 2180226: Bracket, Control

You can't get by without this part, it holds the water dispenser and the ice dispenser switches in place for the levers to activate them. I broke mine by popping the trim cover off, two spindly pins hold each switch in place, the two for the ice switch broke off, leaving the switch loose. Thankfully, pandorasoem has these, and yes, this is a real OEM Whirlpool part, so no worries. Easy to replace, once you have the trim cover popped off!

Perfect part for our broken ice dispenser. The product was exactly as described and compatible, as the original part # has been replaced by this current one. We are happily enjoying our ice dispenser!

Excellent product identical OEM part same as original fits the same highly recommend this part to anyone who thinks that they burned out their ice machine motor. It's simply the bracket is broken that holds the on and off switch that makes the ice machine motor run. Very easy to replace and install.

My fridge is 11 years old, I broke this piece when I tried to install ice door chute. Didn't realize that amazon had this part. I grabbed one and it worked perfectly. The compatibility reference is really helpful. My fridge is not whirlpool, this part still works for it. Installation is easy, not necessarily plug n ply; but definitely can be done with DIY.

If you are looking for a retrofit filter and mounting frame for any refrigerator, fine, but this is not designed for Frigidaire direct replacement. The company rep. said they would revise the listing so as not to mislead buyers, but they have not done so. You can get a three pack of direct fit Frigidaire air filters for the price of this single oversized item. It is not a direct fit replacement. Amazon needs to look into the labeling of this product.

Also the company did not issue the promised refund. I installed the new ice maker tonight. It is essentially the same as the old one for my Kenmoore (Whirlpool) 106.56532400 side-by-side refrigerator but with one redesign I hope improves performance. The original ice maker had a problem with the fill tube freezing. The new ice maker has a higher "wall" around the fill tube. I assume this is to block the air from the cooling duct freezing the water as it is dispensed into the tray--I hope I am right and that it works. One note for do-it-yourself types, it took our freezer about 3-hours for the first ice to drop (spec says up to 24-hours). From what I read, this is a function of the ice maker tray being cold enough--expected status. One last thought/recommendation: the new ice maker was dusty and you cannot get it perfectly clean so I will dump the first bin of ice.

It took me 15-20 minutes to install it into my Kitchen Aid fridge and few hours later I saw first few cubes of ice in the bucket. Works just fine, no issues, strongly recommend. Technician wanted $600+ to do the same.

I was nervous at first because obviously most of us don't go around installing ice makers all the time. I also debated on the official whirlpool product versus the knock-off. After reading pros and cons, I decided to go with the official product and glad I did so. It might have been more, but I know this is the product that is supposed to go with our refrigerator.

The old one slid out easily and the new one slid in easy. We were initially nervous because ice cubes didn't pop out in seconds, but within two hours, voila there were ice cubes. Hooray! Definitely recommend.

have only had this for a few weeks, but it is working great. We had to us the bottom plate from the old one, this does not come with it. But my husband had it put together and installed in no time at all.

On the day of the concert, I put 2 CHILLED bottles of wine into the Packit. Less than 2 hours later we uncorked a cool bottle of wine. I've used this fridge for nearly a month and it works great. Beverages are ice cold and there's no frost; exactly what I wanted. I have to give Sanyo a "ding" for the poor packaging they placed styrofoam only on the four corners (top and bottom) rather than all the way down the length of all edges, and nothing on the flat sides. Result? Right out of the box the coil on the back had been knocked off it's bracket during shipping and there were dents all the way up and down all four sides on the edges. I remounted the coil, fixed the bracket and tested it. It worked fine so I decided I could live with the dents rather than deal with the hassle because I needed a fridge "now" and it went under a desk rather than in the open anyway.

January 4, 2013 This fridge has been moved three times in the last five years and still keeps my beverages nice and cold!

I ordered this fridge from amazon. It arrived in a perfectly undamaged box. However when I opened it it looked like it was a refurbished unit. There were scratches on one side of it and a sizable dent in the other. The rather large radiator assembly on the back also was falling off because the screws holding it on were stripped.

Amazon is taking care of the problem and shipping me a new unit at no charge, and having UPS pick up the old one. I am a little disappointed by Sanyo that it passed any quality control check though.

Besides that it is a great little fridge. I turned it on anyway for a couple of hours and it is very quiet, just a almost silent hum and that's all. I would have given it a 5 star review if I had not received a beat up unit.

I just installed this refrigerator in my office, and it is very quiet... in fact can't even hear it. My office neighbor's AC is way louder. I paid the extra for an "all refrigerator" so that I don't need to be concerned about defrosting every 3 months. It fits perfectly where I pictured it in the corner of my small office space, and I hope lives up to what the reviews say about keeping things refrigerator cold as opposed to cooler only cold. The black color also blends in well with my office furniture/decor. I ordered it on Sunday night, received it on Wednesday afternoon, and I live on a neighbor island in the state of Hawaii. I was impressed that shipping rate was really reasonable as well. If it lasts as long as my other mini fridge at home, I'll be very happy camper.

I have a small 'executive suite' style office. The office is used to meet with clients (all real work is done at home). It's always nice to offer the client a cold bottled water or coke. This refrigerator fills the bill perfectly. It fits under my desk and is there when I need it. Keeping it stocked with stuff is my biggest chore!

Electrolux EWF01 Replacement Water Filter

I originally tried the EWF2CBPA filter (it was $10 cheaper and said "PureAdvantage", which is what I thought I needed), but it didn't work. It looked very similar, and almost fit, but there's a piece on the front that keeps it from going in all the way. Turns out that that filter only works in Icon model fridges, and the filters are not interchangeable. I returned the other filter, ordered this one, and have had no problem with it. I notice that this item's page now explicitly says that it does not work with the Icon model, which is helpful. I can't help but wonder if some of the problems people have had have to do with this avoidable confusion--the other filter's page barely mentions the word "Icon", and doesn't say that it won't work in other PureAdvantage systems.

I see no reason for the complaints about water leakage. As long as the model # matches Electrolux's recommendation, these are the exact same filters one would purchase direct from Electrolux. Of course, one must also follow installation instructions. These are a good buy.

I ordered the wrong size the first time. My fault I guess, I typed in what I was looking for and ordered the first result that came up in prime. I should have double checked to make sure I had the right model, but Amazon replaced it for me with this one. And this works fine, fit was perfect. My original one was clear and you could see the water and filter stuff inside. This is covered in white plastic and had me worried at first but I have not had any issues. I have run several gallons through it.
