Whirlpool 2315576 Valve-Inlet for Refrigerator

It was the right part and fixed my problem. Not to big of a problem installing it. A lot cheaper than paying a appliance tech.

Worked as advertised and arrived quickly. Quick installation. This is not the same exact valve that was on the unit, but is the manufacturer's current replacement. Instalaltion is slightly different.

My previous valve had a compression fitting this one has a push in type fitting that is easier to change however the instructions were very vague I had to google it to figure it out other than that it was simple to install and works just fine

After getting unit set up, we discovered the water from the dispenser is never cold, in fact it is a little warmer than our tap. I called whirlpool and was told this is the design of the fridge. The water will be "on average 50-60 degrees" Well we live in az so our water on average is about 70 something. They told me that the designs of their side by side is no reserve anywhere so the water will not be cold -Though the customer service rep was kind enough to suggest I add ice to my water if I want to make it coldLoved their old stuff, hate this new fridge and regreat buying it.

I didn`t hook up the ice maker/water line as they are problematic. The rest is awesome. Great temperature control. Keeps the food cold. Adjust and check the temp easily. Quiet. Spacious. Seems good quality. Plenty of room. Bins are nice size. All brands have good and bad reviews. It`s a crap shoot on anything today. Companies are buying and selling out. Stuff is coming from overseas and they use cheap labor and parts. The shelves are strong and hold most heavy products. Easy to clean. The inside lighting is good. The bins are made of strong material on the inside. And spacious. Update-just hooked up the ice maker. Let you know if my kitchen turns into a swimming pool. It gives adequate ice for us. The cube size works for us. I know there are some that have problems with this ice maker and it may not last. The waterline may freeze up. Let you know. Update! Not having any problems with the water line or the ice maker. There are a lot of refrigerators with out ice makers that are having problems. The products are from China to keep up with the competition.

I bought this refrigerator 2 months ago. I had a two door before with freezer on top, a 20 CF. The reasons I purchased this one was its 32-3/4" wide. I had a 36" space but when you have a wall on one side & want a french door unit it most likely won't work. This works as the door opening onto the wall will open 90 deg.

Its not perfect but works. The refrigerator part is very user friendly. You can see things and it is spacious. I like the bottom drawer freezer. Takes a little getting use to. The ice maker has a smaller ice bin as its in the door & does not take up any refrigerator space like some do. There are two of us & it is fine. If you use a lot of ice & several people using it, it may run out. There is a bin in the freezer to hold additional ice. The energy info says it cost $55 a year for electricity. Overall I like it. Just be sure to do your own research.

I am quite happy with this little refrigerator. It is even roomier inside than I thought it would be. The freezer section is very small though, but I guess that is to be expected. I bought it for my daughter and she likes it a lot. The unit is attractive and I don't know if it was a mistake, but it had a stainless steel front (which we are happy about).

If you are looking for a small fridge for a dorm room or for under the bar this is a nice little refrigerator.

Awesome fridge. Not too heavy for its size, I could haul it upstairs to my home theater without too much effort. Very quiet, and it definitely keeps things cold. The only (slight) issue I had was playing around with the shelving inside to make some stuff fit. But that's not a reflection on the fridge. Overall, great product and I highly recommend it as a secondary fridge.

I shopped all over for a mini fridge that would accommodate water bottles... lots and lots of water bottles and... the occasional energy drink. This fridge is a workhorse for my office that hands out lots of water to customers. If you have ever lived in Cali then you could appreciate a cold bottle of water on a hot summer day (of which the fridge does deliver on).

Few things since using the fridge for almost 3 months...

Pros:

Keeps water cold even when employees are constantly opening the fridge

Freezer works well and hasn't iced over

Great size that holds an impressive amount

Con:

Compressor makes a faint rattle when it turns off (hence 4/5 stars). I'm sure if this is used in a dorm room it could annoy a light sleeper.

Overall, I am very happy with the purchase and would buy one again. I actually have an order for a mini wine fridge by Haier too. But... that is not for the work place.

Keeps beverages ice cold! Quiet running. We have it in our game room and it works perfectly! Our last Haier was going strong for 12 years till I put an ice pick thru the freezer and had to replace it.

To start with, it wasn't an exact replacement. I did get it to work by re-using the old brackets. It worked great for about 3 weeks, and the upper element burned out, so it's back to manual defrosting with the wife's hair dryer...
