Dyson 36 Flexi Crevice Tool

Dyson 36 Flexi Crevice ToolI originally was only intending to get the flexi crevice tool. Luckily, I bought some others, too, that ended up being worth the whole experience. The problems with this tool are 2-fold. First, it's not nearly as flexible as I need as it doesn't actually bend but is only just not completely stiff. Second, the bristle end quickly gets clogged with dog hair and dust, so that I have to keep clearing it. With as many dogs as we do and a continual battle with black widow spiders (the messiest webs around), I'm still depending heavily on the regular crevice tool and then going back over with flexi crevice tool when cleaning under and behind appliances. But difficult angles, such as a semi-flush ceiling lamp, still elude me without getting all the way up on a ladder.

THIS IS A GREAT TOOL FOR: 1. CLEANING CONDENSER COIL ON HEATING & COOLING

UNITS ON FURNANCES.(used only when condensers are dry)

2. CLEANING THE RIDGE ON FLOOR BASEBOARDS.

3. VACUUM INSIDE THE AUTO.

4. IN BETWEEN APPLIANCES AND FURNITURE.

I'm using this tool unextended mostly. It's a little longer than the crevice tool that came with my DC21 canister, so it works for some uses. The flexible part is too floppy and kinks shut if bent too far. Also the little brush for the end is almost worthless. Get a little cat fur in it, and it clogs instantly and is difficult to unclog. I took the brush off. I don't understand why the Dyson crevice tools have holes in the opening. It would seem to me that dust would blow right out. I emailed them, got a canned reply that they'd get right back to me, and never heard from them again.

On my old vacuum I used my crevice tool every time I cleaned under the stove, under the fridge, sofa, etc. So when I saw that the dyson came only with what I would consider to be a mini crevice tool, I ordered this flexible one. It sounded great in the description and I thought it would be very useful. Well, I'm much less impressed than I thought I'd be. I used it once and my opinion is that it really isn't flexible. The "flexi" part is made of rubber similar to one of those black rubber tie-downs with the hoods on each end. When you flex it, it bends completely shutting off air-flow. Since it pinches off, I don't consider this flexible. I expect flexible attachments to bend without interferring with the performance of the product. This tool sits in my cleaning closet now very rarely used. A side note its in my cleaning closet because there is no way to attach it to the vacuum itself. :( Not what I expected from a Dyson.

I bought this after reading mixed reviews.I used it to clean out the car and I would give it a mixed review also. Not perfect but not useless. When extended the black rubber middle section can close cutting the suction off, so you have to watch how you hold it.I worked well for cleaning out parts of the car.I would have given it 5 stars if you could completely remove the end piece and not just the rubber brush head. I found the width of the tool head to be too wide to clean between the seat and console or that area between the bottom of the car seat and the carpet when you have the door open .

  • Security Lock adds storage safety
  • Compact design conserves space

Ordered this refrigerator from BBQ Galore. Due to a size limitation for the space it was going into we went with this brand based on the store recommendation. Unfortunately after receipt it did not cool at all. Had to return it to the store and we are waiting on a replacement to come in and hopefully it will work.

Haier HNSE045VS Refrigerator/Freezer, Cabinet/Vcm Door, 4.5-Feet cubic

Haier HNSE045VS Refrigerator/Freezer, Cabinet/Vcm Door, 4.5-Feet cubic
  • Half-width freezer compartment
  • Dispense-a-can storage bins
  • 3 full-width glass shelves
  • Accommodates 2-liter and tall bottles
  • 2 full-width door shelves

I am quite happy with this little refrigerator. It is even roomier inside than I thought it would be. The freezer section is very small though, but I guess that is to be expected. I bought it for my daughter and she likes it a lot. The unit is attractive and I don't know if it was a mistake, but it had a stainless steel front (which we are happy about).

If you are looking for a small fridge for a dorm room or for under the bar this is a nice little refrigerator.

Just what we needed. All things considered this is a very good product. My only complaint is there is no interior light

Awesome fridge. Not too heavy for its size, I could haul it upstairs to my home theater without too much effort. Very quiet, and it definitely keeps things cold. The only (slight) issue I had was playing around with the shelving inside to make some stuff fit. But that's not a reflection on the fridge. Overall, great product and I highly recommend it as a secondary fridge.

I shopped all over for a mini fridge that would accommodate water bottles... lots and lots of water bottles and... the occasional energy drink. This fridge is a workhorse for my office that hands out lots of water to customers. If you have ever lived in Cali then you could appreciate a cold bottle of water on a hot summer day (of which the fridge does deliver on).

Few things since using the fridge for almost 3 months...

Pros:

Keeps water cold even when employees are constantly opening the fridge

Freezer works well and hasn't iced over

Great size that holds an impressive amount

Con:

Compressor makes a faint rattle when it turns off (hence 4/5 stars). I'm sure if this is used in a dorm room it could annoy a light sleeper.

Overall, I am very happy with the purchase and would buy one again. I actually have an order for a mini wine fridge by Haier too. But... that is not for the work place.

Keeps beverages ice cold! Quiet running. We have it in our game room and it works perfectly! Our last Haier was going strong for 12 years till I put an ice pick thru the freezer and had to replace it.

GE GFSS2HCYSS 22.2 Cu. Ft. Stainless Steel French Door Refrigerator - Energy Star

GE GFSS2HCYSS 22.2 Cu. Ft. Stainless Steel French Door Refrigerator - Energy StarWe like our GE "French Door" fridge. It looks good and works fine. But don't think of getting it without the insurance plan. We've had to replace the central "brain". We've had to replace a door latch. We are getting ready now to call for a new shelf and crisper track because both have broken.

I would guess that without the insurance we would soon have put as much in repairs as we paid for the fridge. However, ours was a brand new model, and perhaps they have worked some of the bugs out. We love it. We really have no complaints. Just be sure you take the insurance when it's offered. And you can be sure we'll be renewing our policy when it expires. The service has been excellent.

This unit has 4 plastic rollers that are fixed in place and can not be adjusted. There are 2 leveling legs on the front of the unit only. Very frustrating to try and level this unit with only 2 legs. If you already have perfectly level floors then this may work for you, but other than using shims it can not be leveled side to side or back to front.

We have had this fridge for less than 1 year and so far we have had the repairman out 3 times. This is the most tempermental fridge I have ever owned. The previous review is right do not even THINK about buying this without a service plan. So far it has frozen (and ruined) lots of produce. Once that got fixed the icemaker overflowed water into the bottom of the freezer (until I shut off the water). The spicket freezes where you cannot get water out of it (in the fridge) and you have to jack up the temperature just to get it to thaw so that you can get water from it again. When the guy was out last week he replaced the whole ice maker. Once he left it started making this horrible sound like it is trying to make ice or dump ice but cannot. So I'm waiting on them to come out AGAIN to fix that. HORRIBLE do NOT buy it.

Ridiculous! We've had one of thse for about 6 months. Over this period the doors haven't been fully closed four times, and no-one heard the "door alarm" (in at least two cases it had mysteriously turned itself "off"). And guess what: the intense tungsten bright interior lights (indeed Edison's 125 y/o old discovery) remain on. These 2 high intensity bulbs dump at least 50 watts of heat into the interior for as long as the doors remain even slightly open. When discovered, the temperature indicator has shown the interior temp to be in the high 60 to 70 degrees F,, 30 degrees below the "norm",40 degrees F.

First: in this day and age of cool lighting sources, in this high-priced box, what kind of idiot would specify such ancient lighting in a refrigerator -(quoting the owner's manual, "caution the light bulbs may be hot" hot enough to burn you within a few minute, I discovered). Ridiculous!!

As well, why is it even possible to turn off the so-called door alarm? it's barely audibleanyway, and delays three minutes (un-adjustable, of course!) before it begins to emit it's pathetic peep. Thus whoever left it open is long gone by then.

Where's the wisdom here?? Earth to General Electric: you've been demoted... to Private Electric imho

I've owned this fridge for a month and have had the repairman out twice to replace the same part. The separator between the french doors breaks away from the left door. Either the plastic piece they use to secure it to the door is too weak or the latch spring is too strong.

Frigidaire FAQE7001LW: Frigidaire Affinity 7.0 Cu. Ft. Electric Dryer

Frigidaire FAQE7001LW: Frigidaire Affinity 7.0 Cu. Ft. Electric DryerI had the same problem with anything that had straps or draw strings would be torn apart by the lent screen handle. Emailed Frigidaire, no response. I bought a new lint filter, this did not help. When the dryer was just over 2 years old the handle broke off, and plastic housing started to crack. E-mailed again, still no response. Hubby attached new handle. Dryer is now 5 years old and the control panel caught on fire. Flames shot out of the top of the dryer. Sent e-mail they responded with " Sorry to hear about the fire glad everyone is safe. Please have a repairman look at the unit to determine the cause. The unit is no longer under warranty so you will have to pay for the call." I work for an electronic company so I took the control panel into them and guess what the fire started in the main board. I sent pictures of the control panel and of the dryer it's self (no other damage) and sent it to Frigidaire. Their response this time is I can buy a new control panel for $91 and the faceplate for $124. After researching this model further I found that many people have experienced shorts in the control panel causing dryer to shut off or lights and alerts to sound. We had none of that. It was working fine, then all of a sudden my daughter smelled burning electronics and melting plastic. Flames were coming out the top of the dryer's faceplate. My teenage daughter was able to put out the fire. Thank goodness w/o injury. Wish I could attach pictures. I did not buy this on Amazon, tho I was looking for a replacement when I stumbled across this.

Anything with a thin strap is instantly destroyed in this piece of garbage. Might as well just go ahead and throw out all of your favorite things if you buy this crap. I WANT A REFUND and ALL my ruined clothes replaced

My electrician and I just took apart this dryer because the motor burnt out. We notice the rubber gasket sealing the exhaust parts was approx. 1 millimeter thick and had broken, causing the insides of the dryer to accumulate lint. This caused the motor to burn out after 2.5 yrs., not to mention it was a fire hazard. This unit should not be approved by UL. We installed a new motor and sealed the exhaust parts with aluminum tape, which is what the factory should use.

Dont buy any Frigidaire dryers.

We bought a matching set of frigidaire appliances for our washroom, it was a really good price and we like them a lot. The dryer is efficient and I can run a load from beginning of wash to end of dry in an hour or so. The clothes come out perfectly dry and are easy to retrieve through the door. The only complaint I would have is about the door, sometimes things get pulled into the edge and don't get fluffed back in with the other clothes causing wrinkles, this mainly happens to socks and cloth baby wipes, so it is not a big problem.

Do not buy a frigidaire dryer of any sort. Anything with a strap or zipper will get jammed. The motor on mine burned out after four years! Repairman said appliance was poor quality not worth fixing.
