How easy can it get I don't have to run to Lowes, park in a crowded lot, wander into the store, buy the product at same or higher price, get in line to purchase, then back in the car and use up $4+ of gas. Piece of cake order, get delivery and it works....can't say enough

The photo here is misleading. This is a generic ionizer, not an Oreck. It is a copy-cat. It seems to work alright, but if you are expecting a genuine Oreck, that is not what you will receive.

And as a side note, after I submitted this review, the seller changed the photo to reflect a non-Oreck model.

It works super well and keeps the items in the freezer frozen. Sometimes it even manages to freeze the food below the freezer of you turn down the temp. A surprising amount of stuff fits into this little thing. The material is not flimsy at all and overall, the product is of good quality. A great buy for dorms rooms and other small spaces.

when defrosting the freezer, which is necessary every 2 weeks, a coil for the thermostat came off with the sheet of ice, and now the "warmest" thermostat setting is almost freezing. if i turn the thermostat only 2 notches colder, every beverage is turned to ice.

if you buy this product, be super cautious on the defrosting.

The fridge came delivered damaged on the back to were it wouldn't sit balanced correctly upright. On the upside every thing works though. But I don't expect I will be buying another mini fridge or any other appliances on amazon.com ever again.

Whirlpool 842041 Evaporator Tray for Refrigerator

Per the manufacturers website, it appears that the original style evap tray was superceeded by this unit. It is a slightly different shape than my original tray but fits fine and serves its purpose. The material appears to be much stronger and more durable than my original one. Beware when installing on a whirlpool side by side with water filter in the lower grille: the only way to get the old tray out and the new one in is from the bottom/underside of the fridge, which is not easy. Great product though.

After searching for the correct OEM part, fould this universal part replacement. Fiut perfectly at a fraction of the EOM price.

The product is much better than the original that the refrigerator came with. It is a smaller version so it was easy to slide in. We had to tear the original tray all apart in order to get it out. It is a little pricey for just a piece of plastic but we didn't have much of a choice.

The fridge arrived yesterday as expected. I love it. It's great and the smaller size was exactly what I was looking for. However, the experience that I had with the delivery service was terrible.

I had received a call notifying me of delivery for Sunday 6/2/13 between 3-5pm. I was going to be alone in the house so I asked my son to stop by to help me install the water lines after it got delivered. I received a call that the fridge was coming by 1pm, earlier than expected. Fine. I reached out to my son so he can stop by but he was going to be there a little after 1pm. When the delivery company came with the two men, one of them told me that they would be leaving the fridge on my front lawn! I asked them why? They told me that to bring the refrigerator in the door would cost me an additional $80. I was shocked and upset. I had never heard of anything like that. I told them that I know I said I would not want the installation service for $99 but the refrigerator can not be left outside and that when the company called me to set up the delivery date, I was never told that it was so. The delivery men argued with me and said that they would not bring it in if I didn't pay. I called my daughter who helped me order it. She asked them for their bosses phone number and was given the wrong number twice. When she questioned them, they told her that their boss doesn't work on Sundays and that they didn't want to give her the number. She immediately got on the phone with Amazon. My son arrived while she was on the phone with Amazon and he tried to talk with the delivery men. They told him that they would not bring it in the house and even if they tried, the box would not fit. When my son told them that my daughter was on the phone with Amazon, they finally decided to do us the "favor" of bringing the fridge into the foyer of the house at no cost. They obviously didn't have a problem bringing it in the house as they did it within 10 minutes.

All in all, it was a disappointing experience. Don't know what kind of freight service the vendor is using...

If you're looking for a french door refrigerator in the 33" width, you don't have many options. This is one of the few.

It could so nearly have been a great fridge, but it's the design that brings it down.

The doors are clunky, and the buttons on the outside are unappealing and cheap looking. But the inside is functional and though the drawers are a bit plasticy, it's pretty good.

The worst part about it is the water/ice dispenser. When you think about it, you pay quite a premium for a thru-the-door water dispenser compared with fridges that don't have them. The best thing about this one is that the internal mechanism for dispenser is slim. Unfortunately, it clogs up far too often. But the actual dispensing section is the real let down. The water comes out in a weak trickle from what I can only describe as a urethra, positioned in a way that always catches people out first time they use it, and always makes them laugh at it. But whoever designed the paddles you push to dispense water or ice needs their design license revoked. They made the paddles to curve outwards a way that is not complimentary to a glass or bottle you're basically trying to hold a curved surface up against another curved surface, so your glass is always slipping about on the paddle. If they'd have curved it the other way it would not have been a problem.

This refrigerator does its job, but we aren't completely happy. There are a few things that aren't up to par. The french doors are very loud when opening and closing them, and so is the freezer drawer. When opening the left door, the mechanism snaps open. when closing it it snaps closed much louder. The freezer drawer has a clicking sound when the drawer slides open and closed.I already had to call to get a replacement part for the french door mechanism that guides the door open and closed inside of the refrigerator.

Have had this fridge for over a year, love the size . . . but milk always going sour before the expiry date, cheese molding, leftovers didn't last. Rationalized all these things. 'must be leaving the milk out too long', 'must have dirty kids hands touching the cheese' etc. Because the digital temperature reading said it was 34 deg in the fridge, and it must be accurate, right? WRONG! Verification by 3 separate mercury &digital thermometers show that the fridge compartment temp runs 40-50 deg, and that's in winter (wonder how warm it had been running last summer!) This is everywhere in the fridge compartment, top shelf, bottom shelf, door, right next to the ice maker, etc. Cannot find anyplace in the fridge that runs less than 40 degrees. In hindsight, no wonder food was spoiling! The fridge programming will not allow the temperature to be set any lower than 34F. Service technician has replaced the main control board and the digital touch screen assembly. Have not resolved the problem. Phoned Samsung customer support and was only told that since the factory warranty is expired they can and will do nothing. The review from J LeRoy is enlightening. Will update if ever fixed. Freezer & flex-drawer hold reasonable to programmed temperature (2-6 degrees above programmed temp).

Initially we were thrilled with this fridge (black version). After about 3 days, my wife noticed the wine (kept in door) wasn't as cold as in our last fridge which was also a french door. I tried turning down from 37° (what our old fridge was set at) clear to lowest of 34°. But still couldn't get door temp satisfactory. I finally contacted Samsung after a little web searching thinking the temp sensor is probably faulty. Incredulously I was told as long as temp fits in their 34° 46° degree range then there is no problem? I said no, my understanding is that means refrigerator can be set between 34° and 46° and I can assure you there's a problem. No, I was told and if food is cold I should be happy. I stated milk needs to be at a max 40° and this is what the gallon door storage is alluding to in their advertising, and I measured temp in door as high as 42° using 2-3 different well known brand thermometers. Without being able to trust the temp in door storage there is not nearly enough room in this model. Then I asked for a supervisor thinking she was probably new. I was told the same thing and that my thermometers were most likely off (not considering the whole issue started w/lukewarm wine). Customer service supervisor explained to me that if I wasn't using a Samsung thermometer, I couldn't be sure of accurate results. I asked where I could get a Samsung thermometer? She said Samsung doesn't make thermometers. WHAT! WOW! Well, that was enough of Samsung's customer service for me, I'm hoping to get a long life out of my new fridge and if this is what I have to look forward to, then no thank you. Back to the store this one went, exchanged for a good old made in U.S.A. GE 3 door which we love. Had a question for them and contacted cust service. I was pretty sure it was nothing but they right off offered to send out a tech to check it out. I declined as I thought it wasn't necessary, just something I needed to figure out, but what a different cust service experience.

This refrigerator has it all: plenty of storage, excellent lighting, quick chilling, and nice design. Yes, the ice clunks loudly when "ejected" to the dispenser, but not a big deal for us as we don't use much ice and only turn on the maker when we need more ice. We have not had ice come flying out or the water spray. The fridge runs quietly and I don't find it difficult to clean the exterior. There are only 2 adults in the household and we tend not to leave many fingerprints on the doors.

Overall: I recommend this refrigerator.

I Love my Samsung RF4287HARS. It is very nice looking, cleans easily, has plenty of space, and his holding up very well in our home.

I was afraid the freezer drawers wouldn't be adequate, as I had a side by side before. Quite the contrary. Holds just as much, if not more.

The refrigerator space is more than superior.
