Per the manufacturers website, it appears that the original style evap tray was superceeded by this unit. It is a slightly different shape than my original tray but fits fine and serves its purpose. The material appears to be much stronger and more durable than my original one. Beware when installing on a whirlpool side by side with water filter in the lower grille: the only way to get the old tray out and the new one in is from the bottom/underside of the fridge, which is not easy. Great product though.

The product is much better than the original that the refrigerator came with. It is a smaller version so it was easy to slide in. We had to tear the original tray all apart in order to get it out.
