We used two units. They lasted 14 months each, then died. They were loud.

It worked great for keeping soft drinks cold at work for about a year and a half, then the fan motor got extremely loud. Will look for a more reliable mini-fridge this time.

I've bought this filter before without any complaints. It's easy to change out and fits perfectly in my Frigidaire. I don't notice any untoward taste or smell. I ordered more so I can change the filters more often since I have lime in my well water. The filters came individually wrapped in their own boxes. The filter does what it's supposed to do.

We use our water filter a lot ... so we change it when the water starts to taste tacky, or funky....pull the filter out, and you can see some small particles! Pretty cool...These work well, about 6-8 months, unsure how much water we put through it, but it's a lot, haha...100L camelbacks every few days + ice cubes, if it uses that filter?

I was delighted with this product when I received and began using it great price and functioned well. Told everyone they should switch to this brand. Then abruptly one month later,the water from the fridge stopped flowing,which suggests that the filter needs to be replaced again! The GE filter was still going strong after 7months,so clearly this product is not worth buying.

Our KitchenAid 'fridge/freezer was making a REALLY loud and obnoxious noise, so I pulled off the grill and looked to see if I could figure out what was wrong. By turning on and off the power, I could see and hear that a fan was making the noise. I Googled the manual (no longer had it) and looked up the part needed.
