DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING MADE BY MAYTAGI bought this May 9th, it developed a problem in early June. There is no viable owner's manual. It took over a week of repeated phone calls to reach a person at Maytag 'customer service'. Now I am spending all of Saturday July 2 waiting for the Maytag repair man to come for my 'appointment between 8 am and 5 pm'.
UPDATE the repairman came, the control panel needs to be replaced and will cost $800 for the part alone. It will not be available for about a month, so yet another day shot waiting around for another 'sometime between 8am and 5pm appointment' and of course the frustrations of a weeks old semi functioning refrigerator.
