I'm an old PUR under sink filter system user and since they canceled that product line, I needed a replacement system. I chose this and found most everything matched up with the old components of the PUR system. The water dispensing is somewhat slow and degrades over the life of the filter but the water is great. The key to this system is to find a good dispensing faucet as the one that comes with it is cheap chromed plastic. After reading many reviews about the problems with the included faucet, I used a different dispenser. Actually, it was the same one that came with the PUR system and it works well.

We needed a water filter for an older water and ice in door fridge that did not have a built in filter. This was very easy to install and now we have great tasting ice and water. we recently moved to a new state from oregon and found the taste of the water was sooo horrible that we bought cases of water instead of drinking from the tap.
