5/31/12: We absolutely love or should I say "loved" our Wine Enthusiast 24 Bottle Dual-Zone Wine Cooler Touchscreen Controls with Digital Display received as a gift in January.

In April, the bottom compartment started to beep on and off with the temperature light and interior light flashing, periodically over the past month. Unfortunately, in May it started to beep non-stop and the temp control got VERY cold! Sounds like the same issue as the previous commenter.

I have been attempting to contact Wine Enthusiast Customer Service for the past 2 weeks and I have never received a call or e-mail back. Very, very POOR service. Very, very disappointing! Now I am stuck with a wine cooler that does not work. Very frustrating.

Update as of 7/18/12: I reached out again to them today and spoke with a wonderful Customer Service representative, who immediately told me that they would send a replacement for the unit. It is on back order, so I will be waiting until late August, but at least it was finally resolved professionally.

I received this fridge as a gift. It's glitchy from the very start. The touch panel on the top would not register after 10 min of inactivity (but works again after unplugging and replugging). 3 months later, the bottom compartment started beeping every 5 seconds with the display and interior light flashing non-stop. pending a replacement.

I called up Wine Enthusiast and they sent me a replacement. The replacement works like a charm. no more crazy beeping all night long. The best part of this whole event was that I got to drink some of the wines that would have otherwise been sitting around :-)

I ordered one and it arrived broken at the hinge on the top door so I contacted Amazon for a replacement but it was so difficult chatting with the customer service rep, I requested for a refund. While searching for another wine fridge, I noticed this one dropped $50 so I took my chances and ordered it again... Big mistake! It arrived with the same damaged area, must be a flaw in the fridge design for the door to be broken like that without any damages to the packaging. I tried calling Wine Enthusiasts for a replacement door since I still like the looks of the unit and already have a spot saved for it in my new kitchen. I first spoke to the Wine Enthusiast customer service, who was kind of rude, but transferred me to their tech department. The tech department spoke to their amazon sales rep and told me they'll send me a replacement after I send them a picture of the damage and a copy of my invoice. A week later, no response so I contacted them, then they told me to get it from Amazon. Why didn't they tell me that in the first place? So I contacted Amazon again and they said their whole lot is damaged the same way and a replacement cannot be sent! IF THE WHOLE LOT IS DAMAGED, WHY IS IT STILL AVAILABLE FOR SALE ON AMAZON?

I am writing this review because of my extreme dissatisfaction with the 24 Bottle Wine Enthusiast wine refrigeration product line. My husband and I got this as a present for our wedding a year ago We were so excited with the product that we raved to everyone about it. The following year it started beeping incessantly and then the bottom of the fridge would no longer keep the wine cool. We called wine enthusiast and purchased a circuit board which was supposed to once replaced stop the beeping and get the temp working again. What they failed to mention was you need a degree in electrical engineering to replace the circuit board. We had some one come in an replace the circuit board which some wires had to be stripped and re-soldered back onto the circuit board. Needless to say it never worked again. We called (WE) to see if there was anything else we can do and even emailed their management team @ csmanager@wineenthusiast.net to see if they could help. This is $300 of a gift down the drain. There should be at least some sort of implied warranty. My recommendation to anyone purchasing this unit would be to get a 2 year extended warranty. We are disappointed in the quality of the item and have vowed to never purchase again from Wine Enthusiast. We are also warning any new customers and all of our wine-loving friends in the wine classes we attend to not purchase the products as well. Disappointing!

First fridge arrived with a broken hinge for the top door; plastic was cracked and broken off so the door would not stay up. Luckily Amazon has an easy exchange policy so UPS picked up the package on my front door, easy as can be. The next fridge arrived with 3 dents on the back side and the top door was intact, but it still slants at a downward angle from the hinge site. Both doors slant actually. Very poor quality products, poor craftsmanship. On the plus side the fridge is quiet and pretty; other than the lopsided doors. BUY SOMETHING OTHER THAN WINE ENTHUSIAST. REALLY.
