I bought this fridge one year ago, The "sealed system" had a leak and is unrepairable, as the coils are inside the sides. After buying a Whirlpool to replace it, I have to warn everyone not to buy Danby products! Go to Consumer Affairs and sites like that to get the truth about Danby.

I thought the stainless like fridge was cute, perfect for my broken spine with the bottom freezer and good on energy. It is junk made in China! I think we all expect a refrigerator to last longer than a year, but not Danby..Their customer service manager Laura just rubs salt in your wounds, if you ask for a solution! They should not be allowed to manufacture appliances that are so poorly made. It doesn't use much energy, but I didn't even come close to saving the $550. put in to the the worthless toy. Not to mention all the stress of the noises, smells and loss of food!! So beware unless you want to go through a big nightmare annually!
