A little loud, but not a bad machine. I had a 12 volt power supply, and plugged it in at home, immediately putting 4 warm 12oz cans of cola inside. It cooled them down to 41 degrees or so in around 5-6 hours not bad, considering. I'd guess that, if you filled with cold items (as recommended) it'd maintain w/no problem. Didn't try the warmer.
