The product was a quick temp fix. We had to replace the fridge anyway. If the door is racked (or out of square) in any way it won't close Iv'e been repairing appliances for 30 years and this took way too much time to install. This product works well and is a cost savings alternative to buying a new refrigerator. Read the installation instruction, can be found by googling. Can be difficult to remove the old gasket in some places. Also make sure the door is properly aligned, you may have to adjusted the door by gently pushing it into proper allgnment. This can save one the additional time of loosening the hinges. Also recommend placing the gasket in the dryer to remove the wrinkles, this is more effective than soaking in warm water.
