GE GMR06AAZBB 5.7 cu. ft. Compact Refrigerator, Interior Lighting: Black

I bought this refridgerator after remodeling my basement and adding a bar, thinking it would be a perfect small fridge for that purpose. After about 6 months, I noticed the gasket around the door failed and the door was hanging open, substantially raising my electric bill. I decided to turn it off until I could fix the gasket. Once I turned it back on, it no longer got cold -AT ALL. It would not even get a little cool--nothing!

There is not a lot to a refridgerator, so I think the compressor must have failed. Keep looking if you are consideraing a GE.

I had one of these installed several years ago and it has the noisiest compressor I've ever heard. It still functions but the price implies it is a better quality product than it is.
