This was an OEM part, that fit perfectly! The part arrived very quickly and solved the problem the dryer had.
I scoured the internet to discover why my dryer would power up but not "start". Finally realized that there was paperwork inside the bottom cover of the dryer that had diagnostic info for the digital pad. In other words, it told you what was wrong without calling a service person to do the same, then charge a hundred dollars plus. Thank goodness for great informative reviews. The dryer needed a new "thermal fuse" but others mentioned to change the "thermistor" at the same time. Wow--saved hundreds in service calls. The item took longer to ship than I hoped, but my dryer was out, so I was impatient.
