My small freezer was not working and the compressor appeared to be OK. Using this item to replace the suspect start capacitor, overload, and start relay worked well, was easy to install, and reduced the possibility I was replacing the wrong component. The freezer is now running well for over a month. I would recommend this, so long as you know the size of the compressor to match it to the proper kit.The only disadvantage is there is no good way to mount the kit, which isn't a significant problem.
