GE WR17X12320 Grille Recess for Refrigerator

Poor quality and expensive. GE has done it again. It is a simple plastic part that rots. A replacement one in black is less than $10.

My fridge is only a couple years old and this part already looks terrible. The plated coating is peeling off. I'm shocked that it costs this much. For this price it should actually be made from metal.

This is an aweful refrigerator and the expense of this part is just one illustration of why I won't be buying another GE kitchen appliance. We also have a "high end" GE stainless dishwasher that rusted within the first 2 years and it doesn't do a very good job actually cleaning the dishes!

I agree with the other reviewers this is way over priced. I found the same part in black WR17X11655. It is only $5. I'm going to order that. It probably won't peel and if it does who cares its one tenth the price.
