Samsung RF260BEAEWW

Samsung RF260BEAEWWI purchased this product because of ratings in Consumer Reports and because of the Samsung brand name. The French Door refrigerator was installed yesterday by two guys from Lowe's. One a trainee, the other berating the trainee. They said there might be "water on the floor". If so call them back. They said the icemaker will make ice in 12 hours. OK.

24 hours later, the icemaker was still not making ice. We pulled the refrig out from the wall, there was a kink in the line. We thought that fixed the problem. Nope. We hit the reset button for 8 seconds. The "Icemaker" light is supposed to go dark. It didnt.

Also, the electronic display is supposed to be 0 degrees. But it's "frozen" on -8 degrees. Called Samsung. Service people were very nice and set me up with a local "repair guy" who is coming out tomorrow to see what the problem is.

Bottom line is, this supposedly well rated French Door refrig. is not performing according to the manufacturer's reputation. I'm not thrilled with what I'm experiencing with this product.
