Not much to say about a motor, but the local appliance parts store didn't have one in stock, and if I have to wait for it to be shipped anyway then paying 2x the price doesn't make sense.
It took three days to receive the motor. It's a very easy installation, four bolts. Definitely want to use a nut-driver (1/4") to get to the bolts. If you have an ice-maker it might need to be removed to get to the motor, but that's just three more bolts.
Might be worth keeping a spare in stock. I took one out of an unused identical refrigerator while I waited for the replacement to arrive, otherwise, paying for overnight shipping might make sense. Buy some dry ice and keep it in the refrigerator and freezer while you wait for the motor. Thanks again Amazon! The part came in brand new shape and went in very easy. I choose overnight shipping and I got it around 1200pm. Shipping was well worth the cost I still save 200 over having a repairman do the job.
