Rally 7285 12V Portable Refrigerator and Warmer

We were going on vacation and were going to be driving for two days. Of course one of the kids was put on antibiotics that had to be refrigerated several days before we were scheduled to leave! I bought this refrigerator and it worked PERFECTLY! Just what we needed to keep his meds cold and safe! We were also able to fit some yogurts and cheese sticks in there too!

The Rally 7285 12V cooler/warmer, bought @ amazon.com, is small enough to fit into my Prius, but does a super job keeping my insulin, my soft-drinks and lunch food cool and safe over a 2500 mile trip. Now I use it to keep grocery items cool in our Texas Summer heat and to bring my insulin home safely. Just great.....

This unit does not cool at all. At the heat setting it appears to work, but at the cold setting it also heats, but not as much as at the heat setting.

The cooling on the unit doesn't even work! When I opened the unit the cable for the cooling plate was disconnected talk about cheap Chinese wiring!

I had the refrigerator for about two weeks before I used it. I used it in the car first with 6 small bottles of water but it didn't get cold it was just barely cool. Then I tried to see if the refrig would work in the house, unfortunately not. That was a disappointment.

I went to Virginia on 8/11-18 and I tried it again in the car and when I put it on cool everthing in the refig was hot when I got to Va. I am very disappointed and wish I could return it for a full refund. I would give another type of car refrig a try. I think there maybe a short either in the electric cord or the refrig itself.
