Bought this filter instead of the DA29-00003G because the DA29-00003B is all Sears had. The two are supposed to be interchangeable. The O'rings are the exact same size and the filter fits right into the socket, but water poors from the socket where the filter screws in, filling the fridge full of water.

This isn't the first time I've had discrepencies like this with Samsung's part numbers. I had to replace the ice maker last year and the ice maker they sent me had the exact same part number except it had a different last letter like this filter. It was supposed to be compatable. It looked the same, but would not fit into the freezer's socket/tabs. I went back and forth several times with Samsung over this and finally GAVE UP! The internal parts of the two ice makers were the same so I took the brand new ice maker apart (voiding the warranty) and transferred the new parts over to the old ice maker.

A company like Samsung should not be having problems like this.

Best advice is to AVOID Samsung all together.
