I just replaced my 20 year old Kitchenaid refrigerator with the Kitchenaid model number KFIS29BBMS. This is one of the nicest looking models with all the features I wanted. It was delivered and the ice and water dispenser did not work and the freezer compartment drawer sounds like it is off the track. The deliverymen said to call the store and the repairmen would come to fix the problems.After getting a repair date the repairman came and said I needed I new filter for the water dispenser and a new track for the freezer. This refrigerator was over $2,430 without tax and was delivered out of the box with two major defects. The refrigerator is made of plastic parts and the quality control was clearly lacking. So far I have had to stay home two days to try and get this fixed.
I will report back when this finally fixed but in the meantime I suggest if you are looking for a French door refrigerator stay away from Kitchenaid. Kitchenaid is no longer the best brand on the market...
