My ice maker worked intermittently and the water feeder tube kept freezing up. Also I was finding ice forming on the back wall of the freezer back of shelves. The old water and ice-maker valve on the ice maker side was not always closing completely. This replacement valve fixed the problem and the water and ice work fine now.
