We bought this for Kenmore 80 series Dryer, The part does not fit the handle at all. At the moment I thought I could not use it at all.

I finally figure out that I could take out the adapter(Not the Handle) and attach the Old adapter of the original filter. I finally did it but It took me huge effort, but I almost broke the part.

Now it is working well though. All in all, If you buy this part for Kenmore 80 Dryer, consider the risk.

The filter that came with our rather old Whirlpool dryer needed replacing because after many years of service its handle broke off.
